I loved this next story. Allie and Bash were perfect with just the right amount of No Way mixed in. I hope there are more additions to this series. Even the back up characters were great in their own way. And talk about surprises WOW!!!!

I adore everything about this series!!! Once a Charmer is the third installment in the Charmed in Texas series and if you haven't read them yet-- START NOW!!

Bash and Allie have been best friends since they were teens. Where there once may have been a chance for the two to be "more", Allie got pregnant at 17, which put Bash permanently in the friend zone. Now Allie's daughter, Angel, is 15 and since her biological dad split before she was born, Bash has became her stand-in dad as well as Allie's platonic bestie.

Allie has had her hands full between raising Angel and running her diner. The diner isn't only a business to Allie, it was her late mother's dream so she really wants it to succeed. Unfortunately, Allie's father is suffering from Alzheimer's and ultimately gave 51% of the diner away to pay a gambling debt!!!! As it turns out Bash may be the rock she needs!!! The underlying attraction they both secretly hide from one another starts to heat up and then add the Honey King and Queen contest in the mixed... sparks sure start flying!!!!

Once a Charmer had me laughing, swooning, tearing up and wishing I could move to Charming, Texas. Bash and Allie were completely endearing and I really wanted them to find happiness. Sharla Lovelace does a great job at creating romance plots that have depth--love that! Once a Charmer is a full and solid 5 stars!! I am keeping my fingers crossed that there will be more Charmed in Texas installments in the future because they're so addictive!

This series has been just charming. When a book has me mad, angry then laughing and crying then I know it's been exactly what I needed. Sharla Lovelace's writing is so powerful that you want to reach right through the book and punch people! Then, I want to reach out and hug others!

Allie Greene was such a strong and powerful woman who saw herself as a the young teenager with a a father with a gambling problem and her as a young unwed teen. Bash Anderson saw the true woman Allie was- is- and loved her and her daughter like his own. How do you have a close, lifelong friendship with the one your heart desires and not lose it? You take a leap of faith! Things aren't so easy for Allie and Bash but I never rooted for two people more to find one another.

There are other things I love about this book/series. The community is written so "charmingly" that I want to find this place on the map and visit. The friendships with Lanie and Carmen are precious and supporting even when Allie doesn't realize they are there. The men of this group are strong and supportive. I especially like the story of the money in the trees and good old Mr. Bailey!
