Loved this rom com with Harriet the dog-walker and Ethan the guy with the sterile, modern bachelor pad. They crossed paths more than once – and in totally meet-cute ways. I liked that Harriet could be a bit self deprecating without being annoying about it, and that she was well aware of both her strengths and her shortcomings. It was refreshing to get to know a character who made no apologies for herself while still recognizing she could be happier if she changed a few things here and there.

Ethan made a great foil for Harriet. He ostensibly had it all together, but underneath he knew he really needed to make some adjustments in life, too.

I had fun watching Harriet and Ethan together, figuring out themselves and each other … and one another together.

I loved this book, plain and simple. I laughed and swooned a lot, I felt with our heroine and I really really hoped for this magical HEA - and the author delivered. A wonderful, very christmassy and very amazing and wonderful story that kept me glued to my reader. I just had to know what happened next and if the two of them would fall in love and overcome their obstacles. Those obstacles might not have been that huge from the outside but, as they are rather personal, from the inside it looked very different.

Getting to know Harriet and witnessing her warmth and her loving nature, seeing Ethan rediscover his heart and his feelings, I was so happy to see Harriet grow stronger and more secure of herself. She takes her life into her own hands but she still manages to care for others and to be there for them.
Okay, I might have wanted to kick Ethan the one or the other time but, well, let's just say that he is able to learn rather quickly and - considering his former relationships- I forgave him in the end.
The characters are authentic and real, it is very easy to take them into your heart and to feel with them. Harriet hasn't had an easy childhood but she didn't become bitter or hard but stayed warm and supportive. It is good to see how much she cares for her brother and sister and how close those three are but it is even better to see her spread her wings, gaining confidence and finding her own way.
Family is important to both of them and even though their families and their dynamics are completely different they are a very important part of their lives and a big support.

Warm, witty and very much in the spirit of the season, I really loved this book and will definitely read it again, probably next Christmas.

I was given a free digital copy of this book from Netgalley and Harlequin for an honest review. I really enjoyed this book. It was just the kind of Christmasy romance I was looking for. Harriet has decided to challenge herself to be more social and outgoing and she has even been trying online dating, with disastrous results. She is also gearing up to spend Christmas by herself, for the first time, since her sister and brother will be busy. Harriet is a dog walker and as a favour to a client she decides to help her client’s brother, Ethan, who is temporarily looking after the dog for his sister. Surprising them both it turns out Harriet and Ethan have previously met as he is an ER doctor and Harriet had gone to the hospital with a sprained ankle not long before. When she realizes who he is she also finds out that he is definitely not a dog person. As they spend more time together and learn more about each other their romance begins. This is a very heartwarming story. Harriet is a wonderful character. She is kind, quirky, funny, and optimistic. Ethan is a workaholic who begins to realize there is more to life. This book was lovely to read and I recommend it to anyone who wants to read a nice Christmas story with romance and optimism

Harriet Knight has lived a lifetime in shyness, when she finally decided to conquer her fears, she challenges herself to do one thing a day in December until Christmas that scares her. That includes online dating, which ends in disaster when the man that showed up at a date is much older than he said he was, a climb out the bathroom window to escape, and a hospital visit due to an injured ankle.

Ethan Black is a workaholic, a doctor that is rough around the edges and has already gone through one miserable relationship. He didn’t count on the fact that he will be sitting his sister’s dog, or that the dog will try and destroy his apartment. So he asks his dog sitter to move into his apartment temporarily, not expecting the explosion in chemistry that follows.

This was cute, it was a decent read. I can see why people loved it.

For me? It didn’t get interesting until about 58% into the book. I felt it dragged until then, I was bored, and had a bit of a hard time. There wasn’t anything particularly wrong with it, I just did not find myself really invested and was really bored. It took me 13 days to read this, ouch.

Harriet was sweet, the relationship, once it got to that point, was cute.

Ethan makes a dumb mistake, realizes he makes the dumb mistake and fixes it… All within a few last pages of the book.

Felt same old.

Also, this takes place in NYC and snows a lot right before Christmas. I lived in NYC for like 15 years and I wish there was this much snow before Christmas…Happens, but not as often and wonderfully as this book made it timing wise.

Overall, romance lovers will enjoy this one. It’s sweet, it’s got winter, good characters and good writing.

If you're in the mood for a sweet read, Sarah Morgan is always a sure bet. MOONLIGHT OVER MANHATTAN is a delightful and heartwarming addition to this series, with an appropriately festive backdrop that will leave you with fond memories of a woman's brave quest to challenge herself which leads to the ultimate prize: love.

Harriet Knight is shy and prefers to be in the background, especially in view of how she grew up. She has always let her siblings slay her dragons for her while wishing she was as fearless as her twin or assertive as her elder brother. Enter Operation Challenge Harriet, an opportunity for her to leave her comfort zone, which does not start out so well but leads her to ER physician, Ethan Black.

Ethan is committed to being successful at every undertaking and he's doing that at his job. Not so much in his personal life and after a failed marriage he has given up on trying again and prefers temporary liaisons that demand nothing from him. Until Harriet makes him want to try again in spite of his fears.

Harriet and Ethan were really enjoyable characters and I loved the slow pace of the story (surprise!) which the author used to draw readers into the world of these characters. The star of this book is obviously Harriet and there is no way to read this book and not have a smile on your face at the end of it. Every page captures her journey from the retiring and bashful character to a confident woman ready to take on the world; like a flower blooming and is an inspiration for anyone looking to make beneficial changes in their lives.

The end of this book was my favorite part, especially the cameo by the O'Neils and the chance to catch up on their lives. This is the perfect read for the season: lighthearted and fun; and I recommend investing in the whole series even though this book can be read as a standalone.

Sarah Morgan's books just make me happy. I've only read a handful of them — something I need to work on — but the From Manhattan with Love series is everything I want in a romance novel. The latest book, Moonlight Over Manhattan, was absolutely no exception.

It's no secret I think New York City is one of the greatest cities in the world. I'd live there in a heartbeat if I thought I could actually handle it. There's a reason some of my favorite books and movies are set in NYC and that's because it's such a perfect romantic setting. It certainly was perfect for Harriet and Ethan's story in this book. I absolutely adored Harriet. Ethan took a little more time, but I was happy to give him a chance because I am a total sucker for a grumpy hero.

I could spend a long time talking about how much I adored everything about Moonlight Over Manhattan, but I'm not going to. It was utterly delightful, leaving me with smiles, swoons and feels for days.

FAVORITE QUOTES

Optimists are like Christmas lights. They brighten everything around them.

"Quiet doesn't mean you don't have important things to say. Just that you might take your time saying them."

"I don't believe in 'the one'. How can there only be one person for us? What if 'the one' lives in Peru and I'm in New York? How am I supposed to find him? I don't think my internal GPS is that reliable."

3.5 Stars. I previously read and reviewed another book in the From Manhattan With Love series, which makes this the second book in the series for me. Moonlight over Manhattan was a sugary sweet time-passer. It was quite like the Hallmark and Lifetime movies that so many enjoy this time of year. Nothing too exciting, nothing too groundbreaking, just a nice, pleasant romance

Why in the world was there zero mention of condoms or birth control? That is the one thing I will remember about this book.

Searching for a delightful Christmas romance that will sweep you off your feet? Moonlight Over Manhattan is the book for you.

Harriet Knight runs a successful dog walking business with her twin sister Fliss. Now that her sister has met the love of her life and moved out, Harriet is trying to find a way to challenge herself to get out more to overcome her shyness and stutter. Sometimes going out more on blind dates can lead to awkward moments like hurting your ankle after jumping out a bathroom window to escape your date.

In the ER Harriet met a handsome doctor named Ethan. Caught up in his work, Ethan has a problem letting go and living life. After his niece had an accident, his sister rushed cross country to be with her and left her dog Madi with Ethan to care for. Her dog walker stopped by to care for her . . . and Harriet and Ethan meet again. Will these two opposites find a way to be together? Can they let go of the past to forge a positive path forward in the world? And more importantly, will Ethan learn to love a dog that destroys his apartment?

I really enjoyed this novel. It was a nice Christmas romance that is perfect for this time of year. I loved that the story had dogs in it as I am an animal lover myself. I also loved the setting – New York City at Christmas time with a sojourn up to Vermont. The descriptions in the book were beautiful. I really enjoyed the characters of Harriet and Ethan and how they both grow and develop in this book.

Moonlight Over Manhattan is the sixth novel in the From Manhattan with Love series. I have not read the other books in the series and didn’t feel like I was missing any important parts of the story. This novel holds up well as its own complete story. It did spike my interest in the other books in the series as I enjoyed reading it so much!

My favorite quotes:

“Harriet had never felt that way, but she did often wonder how on earth you were supposed to meet someone you’d like to spend the rest of your life with.”

“’I never believed in love at first sight until now. It’s magical,’ she breathed, ‘Like something from a Christmas fairy tale.’ The words caught in her throat. This was Christmas as she’d imagined it should be when she was a child and trying to escape the reality of her own.”

“Anything that involves people is complicated. That doesn’t mean we should walk away.”

“If you’d stayed I probably would have carried on taking the easy road. The one with no obstacles. But a road without obstacles is a parking lot and I don’t want to live my life in a parking lot.”

Overall, Moonlight over Manhattan is a very enjoyable romance with a great setting, characters, and story. It’s a perfect read for the Christmas season.

Here lies Harriet, who knew a lot about hair balls, but not a whole lot about the other kind.

Moonlight over Manhattan by Sarah Morgan is a delightful, fun and festive romance set mostly in Manhattan, New York. It’s a heartwarming holiday story about facing your fears and falling in love. This is only the second book I’ve read by this author. I had previously read and thoroughly enjoyed Miracle on 5th Avenue (Book #3) and honestly couldn’t wait to jump into another book in the author’s Manhattan with Love series. This is the sixth book in the series but, since each book in this series works well as a stand alone, there’s no worries about reading the series in order.

As the story opens, we meet Harriet Knight who is shy and reserved. She and her sister run Bark Rangers, a successful dog-walking business in Manhattan. For the first time in her life, Harriet is living alone as her feisty twin sister has just moved out of their shared apartment. Her twin and her brother have both found recently found love and Harriet is truly happy for them. But, she also feels adrift as her siblings have both been very protective of Harriet all of her life. She is determined not to be a burden on her siblings, so she has been challenging herself with tasks outside of her comfort zone. Her challenges haven’t all gone well.

At this moment, she is hanging outside a bathroom window over a dumpster with an objective of escaping from a disastrous blind date. This particular challenge night ends up with Harriet in the ER as she fears that she has broken her ankle in her fall from the window. That is how she meets dark, sexy and jaded Dr. Ethan Black, an attending physician in the ER, who, at first fears that Harriet has been the victim of abuse… or that she has purposefully hurt herself to obtain drugs. Hot as Ethan is, Harriet knows he’s not her type and she never expects to see him again.

Then, the daughter of one of her clients experiences a medical emergency across the country. Her client needs to leave and makes arrangements with her brother to take care of her dog while she’s gone. He works long hours and agrees to take care of the dog only if his sister’s dog walker comes in to take care of the dog while he’s working. Things don’t start well at all as when Harriet arrives to walk Madi, the dog, on the first day, she finds that Madi has wreaked havoc in Ethan’s home. Ethan walks in and immediately blames Harriet for the mess. Is it possible for these two to build a relationship from that untoward beginning?

Both Harriet and Ethan are likable and genuine. They’re complete opposites as she sees a cup as being half full and he sees it as being half empty, but, amazingly, they complement each other. Their story is a heartwarming Cinderella retelling. Harriet believes herself to be the sort of woman men want to help, not the sort they want to help themselves to. Ethan has been married before and believes that he’s not suited to be in a long-term relationship. Will Harriet find the confidence to face life head-on? Will Ethan discover that he is not a hollow tin man without a heart as he deems? AND will all this happen before it’s too late for them?

Following please find a few of my favorite quotes from Moonlight over Manhattan:

No one lies down in this place. Unless they’re dead. When you’re dead, you get to lie down and only after we’ve tried to resuscitate you.”
---

“Of course she told me voluntarily.” Harriet lifted her eyebrows. “Or maybe you think I tied her to the sofa and tortured her with Earl Grey tea?”
---

“If you don’t push yourself to do the things that scare you, how will you ever find out if there’s more to life than the one you’re living?”

If you are looking for an entertaining and endearing holiday read set against a snowy background, Moonlight over Manhattan perfectly fits the bill! I enjoyed the humor, the setting, the characters and their touching story! I can’t wait to read more books in this series!

This is the sixth and last book in the From Manhattan with Love series. I have enjoyed all of the books very much and was very much looking forward to reading the story of Harriet.
It is a lovely story about finding yourself and finding love, overcoming obstacles on the way.

I had the impression that the writing was slightly repetitive, a lot of phrases came up several times within a few paragraphs or pages, but it was still an enjoyable read.

Sarah Morgan delivers timeless romance wrapped in holiday charm with Moonlight Over Manhattan. Professional dog walker Harriet Knight had a traumatic childhood with a verbally abusive father and has protected her tender heart by living safely, but she’s challenging herself this holiday season to step out of her comfort zone and do things that she normally wouldn’t do. She’s put her plan into action when she meets a gruff, handsome and grouchy doctor, Ethan Black, who needs her canine expertise. He’s openly frustrated over his dog situation, and his demeanor intimidates Harriet, threatening to overwhelm her, but at the same time, she is attracted and drawn to him. She fights her instinct to avoid the uncomfortable feelings he incites and agrees to help him by temporarily moving in with him to dog-sit. Over the subsequent days, they develop a compelling connection as a palpable sexual chemistry swirls around them, and they decide to explore what is simmering between them. But both have emotional wounds that make them hesitant to risk falling in love and threaten their burgeoning relationship. Harriet and Ethan complement each other perfectly and inspire each other to lower their defenses and risk vulnerability, and Moonlight Over Manhattan is a sweet and satisfying romance infused with hope, promise and the magic of the holidays.

Twin, Harriet Knight, is the quiet twin that has always let her twin and her sibling be at the forefront of things, but with both of them in relationships she is feeling like the 5th wheel and the single, so she is challenging herself to do things outside of her comfort zone.

Out of these three siblings and their stories, Felicity from yesterday was my favorite, but Harriet was a close second. I loved how positive and kind Harriet was and it seemed just so genuine and truthful. I also loved her leading man Ethan and yes he was divorced and a little jaded to love, but it wasn't over the top like romance can sometime do. Unlike Daniel's story, there wasn't a ton of repetition and just a good full story.

Like with Felicity, I wanted a sequel to Harriet's story and hear how her and Ethan progress past where this book ended.

I am intrigued as to where this series can go from here, I wouldn't mind returning to the original four friends and checking back in with them and their loves, anyone have any clues as to where Sarah Morgan will go with this series?

Sweet characters, explosive tension and a sassy dog make for an awesome read! I loved seeing Harriet strive to take control of her life ... and find her happily ever after along the way! Watching her overcome her past was a powerful story line that brings mixed emotions to the surface. Pride for her being able to find the strength to try to better herself, yet sadness for the little girl she was. Great story line with lots of laughs along the journey ... and a perfect match of characters. Loved it!

Shy introvert Harriet Knight is determined to cut the cord from her twin sister and over-protective brother. She adores them, but she needs to step up and be able to exist on her own. She's set out to make changes in her life and has challenged herself do one thing per day in the month of December that scares her ... including spending Christmas away from her family! She survives a mini-crisis or two along the way, and then meets the challenge that just might do her in ... adorable dog Madi and sexy ER doc Ethan Black!

Ethan has an extremely busy and demanding career, but when his sister needs his help during an emergency, he's there for her ... even if it means he has a dog staying at his house. How can one little animal make his world so insane?? There's only one solution! He has to convince Harriet the dog walker to become the dog nanny with 24/7 care from the guest room of his home! When he finds himself becoming attached, how will they handle the attraction they feel? And when the time comes for Madi and Harriet to go back home again, will the sexy doc be happy to get his empty house back?

Have you ever read a book and been so intuned with the main characters and the life lessons they are learning, that you want to savor every single word and ponder the challenges and changes they are encountering, yet the story is so enthralling you want to inhale it as fast as possible so you can get to that happily ever after moment that fills your heart with joy?! Moonlight Over Manhattan was that kind of experience to me and it left me encouraged and inspired.
I love this series so hard. It is one of the three series from this year that I have both in ebook and paperback. The way Sarah Morgan tells the story - with the natural, smooth flow and low-key, life-like build-up of the moment with the charismatic characters, who are easy to relate to and in the main focus of the tale - it creates an atmosphere and environment where you want to spend time in with people you grow to genuinely care about.
Harriet Knight is a sweet, kind, considerate, shy, and loving woman who can cook like Ramsey, who loves the concept of family, and adores dogs of all kind. Her growth and development through the story are remarkable. The way she challenges herself to each day to do something that is not easy to her, something that she is not good at, something that makes her uncomfortable, and then survives it, and at times excels in them, was so inspirational. She has her burdens and wounds from the past and current challenges but learning to accept them and live freely with the scars is encouraging. Everything she faced, even if not similar to me personally, the road to the acceptance and excellence was filled with thoughts, revelations, and a-ha moments that were relatable, thoughts I wanted to savor, ideas that resonated in my mind, heart, and soul. I underlined more than ever while reading this book because there were so many moments and thoughts I want to go back to again and again.
Then you add that swoon-worthy, melt your panties type of adorable, smoking hot romance with sizzling chemistry between her and Ethan Black, where they first spent time together to really talk, to get to know each other, to see who the other one is, what they value, what they will fight for, and what are their weaknesses and vulnerabilities, and I wanted to start to read the book again as soon as I finished it.
With the genuine feelings, true, escalating emotions, charterers you grow honestly care about as you read the tale with a storyline rich in difficult conversations, delightful banter, humor and heartbreak in equal measures, I delighted in this story and treasured each word of it. Moonlight Over Manhattan is one of the favorite books I have read, a story that will stay with me in my mind with its hopeful and reassuring message of 'we can do hard things'.
Highly recommended, indeed.

Moonlight over Manhattan is the perfect romance for the holiday season filled with family, friends and new love!

I really love books that take place in the hustle and bustle of New York City. So I was very happy to get the opportunity to read MOONLIGHT OVER MANHATTAN by Sarah Morgan. This is the sixth book from the author’s MANHATTAN WITH LOVE series, and it can be totally enjoyed as a standalone.

Harriet Knight and her twin sister own a thriving dog walking company. Harriet is quite shy, so she takes care of the dogs and the walkers, while her sister grows the business. Harriet is on a mission to get over her shyness, and as a result, has decided to challenge herself each day to attempt something new. The online dating challenge was a bust. She ended up in the emergency room with a sprained ankle, after climbing out from the restaurant's bathroom window to escape her truly horrible date. Harriet's ER doctor, Ethan Black, ends up being her new client only a few days later.

Ethan is an amazing doctor, and he has no problem dealing with the many pressures and personalities that comes his way via his job. Dogs, however, are a different story. Temporarily taking care of his sister's pup is more than a challenge, so he ensures that the dog walker his sister has hired will come by his apartment more than once a day. The dog walker happens to be Harriet, and Ethan truly needs her assistance. Over time, they develop a friendship that evolves into much more.

This is a well-written novel about courage and love that twists and turns in all the right places. Harriet is a wonderful character, and the steps she takes to work through her insecurities and shyness are inspirational. She is a dog whisperer, and a breath of fresh air with a bit of lust on her mind. Although Ethan has a huge heart, romantic love is difficult for him. Letting Harriet in is one of his challenges. When Harriet and Ethan give in to their desires, the sparks fly. If you are in the mood for a fun and slightly emotional read, pick up a copy of MOONLIGHT OVER MANHATTAN.

Harriet Knight is an irresistible heroine: following the advice of First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt, to “do one thing every day that scares you,” she develops a plan to “conquer a lifetime of shyness.” This December will be different from any other – she’ll take a risk every day, culminating with the great risk of all, spending Christmas on her own instead of relying on the company of her sometimes-over-caring family. Harriet is a twin: readers met her sister Fliss in Sarah Morgan’s Holiday in the Hamptons. Fliss is also Harriet’s business partner: they own Bark Rangers, the dog-walking, dog-sitting, and dog-everything company on NYC’s Upper East Side.

Getting a peek into Harriet’s psyche is both funny and fraught with uncertainty. She’s so insecure.

The F word loomed big in her world.
Not the curse. She wasn’t the sort of person who cursed. For her, the F word was Fear.
Fear of humiliation, fear of failing, fear of what other people thought of her, and all those fears originated from fear of her father.
She was tired of the F word.
She didn’t want to live life alone, which was why she’d decided that for Christmas she was giving herself a new gift.
Courage.

Change can be hard. An on-line generated dinner date ends up with Harriet climbing out of the restaurant’s bathroom window in “insanely high heels.” So much for the challenge of the day, “Don’t be reserved with strangers.” If a stranger is a creeper, what’s a gal to do? Harriet’s plunge from the window has an unexpected outcome: she ends up in the emergency department, treated by Dr. E. Black. He naturally wants to know how she injured her ankle.

She’d jumped from a window?
“You’re a bit of a risk-taker?”
She gave him a wry smile. “My idea of risk is reading my Kindle in the bath so no, I don’t think I’d describe myself as a risk-taker.”

There’s something that doesn’t quite ring true about this patient but patients come and go in a busy emergency doctor’s life. Or do they go—hold on to that thought!

Harriet credits her sister with the success of their joint enterprise, saying that Fliss had the idea for Bark Rangers and that she “handles all the new business.” Glenys, an elderly client turned friend calls her on that mistaken notion, asking why does she “think people come to you for dog walking?” It’s Harriet.“Because everyone in Manhattan with a brain and a dog knows that Harriet Knight is the person they want. Customer service. Individual attention. Caring. That’s what it’s about. That’s why the Bark Rangers is a success. You are to dog walking what Tiffany’s is to jewelers. You are diamond and white gold. The best.”

Harriet is ridiculously flattered by Glenys’s praise but she can’t linger—she has a dog she must walk, Why, since Harriet has a great crew of dog walkers but in this case, she’s “doing a favor for a client who has had a family emergency.” Harriet says Debra “has left Madi, her dog, with her brother and I promised to walk him.” When she gets to the door of the apartment, she senses something is wrong.

She’d fostered enough pets to sense disaster when it was close by.
She had no idea what the apartment looked like normally, but she guessed it was nothing like this.
Cushions lay scattered on the floor, their stuffing surrounding them like clouds. Toilet paper was festooned over the furniture like giant ribbons.
Staring at the mess in dismay and disbelief, Harriet walked through to the kitchen.
There, on top of a mound of dried pasta sat Madi, looking guilty.

Harriet’s dog-whisperer skills come to the forefront as she sweetly calms Madi down. Harriet always puts the needs of her canine clients before anything: “she’d never known the animal to behave badly before, which had to mean she was distressed.” No worries, she murmurs, everything’s going to be fine.

“I don’t think so. In fact I’d say everything is far from fine.” An icy voice came from the doorway and Harriet turned her head quickly. She hadn’t heard anyone else enter the apartment, and neither had Madi, who wriggled off her lap and bolted for safety, scattering pasta and rice.

Harriet recognizes the “ice-blue” eyes, to “go with the icy voice.” It’s her emergency room doctor, Dr. E. Black, who understandably, asks, “What the hell happened here?” Harriet, who doesn’t lack courage when she stands up for her clients, retorts, “I’m guessing Madi didn’t appreciate being left alone all day in a strange environment. The poor thing was scared.” Then an elderly neighbor shows up with a fierce look on her face. Mrs. Crouch tells the doctor that the tenants cannot tolerate a dog howling all day. Harriet looks on in bemusement while the good doctor calms down his neighbor with masterful skills: “the man was wasted as a doctor. He should be a hostage negotiator.”

The minute the door shuts, however, the doctor attacks Harriet with both barrels—what kind of a dog sitter is she anyway, wasn’t she supposed to walk the dog twice a day—Harriet attempts to straighten him out but she finally flees into the snowy night with Madi. When she returns, he apologizes profusely but Harriet is upset (she hates anger) and she has no confidence in his ability to be a good temporary caretaker of his sister Debra’s precious pet. She’ll foster Madi at her own apartment. The desperate doctor calls on all his diplomatic skills to win over the two skittish dames.

“Come here, girl,” he croons to Madi.“Good girl. Lovely girl. Most beautiful dog in the world.” Madi sat down and looked at him. Ethan looked at Harriet. “If she’s ready to give me another chance, surely you can too?

With a frenetic spaniel as duenna and matchmaker, the two of them don’t stand a chance.

“That’s a low trick, Dr.—”
“Ethan.” He said it softly. “My name is Ethan. And it’s not a trick. Stay for dinner. Dinner and one conversation. That’s all I’m asking.”

If you like the opposites-attract trope, if you have a soft spot for Christmas romances, and if pets in romances make you smile, you’ll love Sarah Morgan’s Moonlight Over Manhattan. Ethan and Harriet are a delightful couple, and you’ll lose your heart to Madi.

Vivacious, uplifting, and downright swoon-worthy!

Moonlight Over Manhattan, the latest novel in the From Manhattan with Love series, is a delightful, character-driven rom-com set in the snowy streets of New York City that introduces us to the sweet, devoted, caring Harriet and the organized, dependable, stoic Ethan as they discover that everything they need and want they may just find in each other.

The prose is witty and crisp. The characters, including the supporting characters, are engaging, fun-loving, and affable. And the plot is a truly festive treat with lots of heart, humour, soul-searching, heat, spirit, and chemistry.

Moonlight Over Manhattan is undeniably another bestseller for Morgan. It's enchanting, effortless, and the perfect holiday read.

The first half of this book is a sweet love story with good character development. The second half is about sex, which disappointed me, but true romance novel readers will like. I appreciated that the story was told in chapters alternating between the two main characters.
