Can't wait to read this my book with my library discussion group!

Sometimes "high concept" can put you off, but don't let it in this case. It's a tricksy, twisty, novel that requires work, but pays out in a gripping plot. One of the most satisfying mystery novels I've read in a long time.

To begin with, I couldn't put this book down. Literally. I began reading it while in hospital a couple of days ago. I kept rereading sections because I didn't want to miss a thing. What a marvelously, brilliantly crafted book. A Groundhog's Day at concept with an Agatha Christie feel. Beautifully written with weirdly crafted, perfectly imperfect characters - such depth! It was like picking them apart layer by layer. Just when I thought I had it figured it out, BAM!, plot twist.

Absolutely incredible book. I plan on rereading it and recommending it to everyone I know.

**Thank you to the author/publisher/Netgalley for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for a fair and honest review**

My brain is melting!

Devilishly clever and a work of pure f****** genius.

I can't even begin to fathom how to review this one without any kind of spoilers so I'm not even going to try. For a start I'm still working through the puzzle that is this enigma - like a rubix cube in book form just when you are cheering yourself quietly for getting all the blue squares on one side you realise you still have yellow, red and green to go and any attempt to get all of those behaving properly naturally unravels the blue and puts you back where you started.

There are many things I loved about this one - Agatha Christie meets Groundhog Day with a splash of Conan-Doyle type dastardly plotting, plus a hint of the Dr Sam Beckett all within an old school setting , with quirky, believable and engaging characters. As if that wasn't enough this twisted tale of murder and skulduggery doesn't end up all caught up in itself leaving the author floundering for a resolution that makes sense (hey we've all read THOSE books) but rather messes with your perception of things then turns it all around into an intelligent and thought provoking finish.

Like I said - a work of pure f****** genius.

That is all.

I was honored to read the advanced copy. I have to admit that I got confused at times with all the back and forth time travel. That be said, the main characters, Aiden learns a bit of information with each chapter. The first person narrative works very well with book, it often doesn't with others. The plotline in mind bogglingly intricate. This author had have put a huge amount of time into keeping everything straight. This book was edited well and was well written. Once I got past the first chapter, I couldn't put it down.I gave this book 4 stars because the beginning was weak and I was disappointed with ending.
