I think this book is insightful but I found myself unmotivated to return to it after putting it down. I think The Rough Patch is for a very specific audience, perhaps, and I'm not in that audience. I might feel differently after another decade of marriage. (I just finished my first decade!)

While I think there's some valuable insight in this, I found it very long, a bit dry, and difficult to compel myself to make progress on.

A big thank you to NetGalley for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. Not sure why I got this as I am now separated . Maybe to see how I can avoid making the same mistakes. I found it interesting, but not with many tips. It reconfirmed that what I was feeling wasn't unusual. I may have missed it but I didn't see much on divorce with older children. Overall I found it helpful.
