I love the details that the book presents about the 3 Mary from the Bible, but i felt that sometimes the lesson was a little bit too much, it just didn’t fit in !
But that is just me, overall it was a greaat book.

Often the Marys of the Bible are elevated to a status of near perfection: Mary of Bethany is praised for sitting listening at Jesus feet, Mary of Nazareth is chosen for the honour of giving birth to the Messiah, and Mary Magdalene is the first person to see Jesus from the dead. This book aims to show that these women were not perfect but were ordinary people, and that if God can use them, he can use us.
I found the book very helpful in understanding these characters more and it encouraged me to continue digging deeper into their stories. The book is written in a conversational and accessible way, but it is also well-researched, with explanations of several of the original Greek and Hebrew words from the Bible which often give fresh insights into these familiar stories. Well worth a read!
