A great collection of biographies. I would definitely hand this book to students who are interested in learning more about several people.

Heroes of Black History starts with a brief timeline of black history in America from the 1600s to present day. It then goes on to detail the lives of four prominent African Americans: Harriet Tubman, Jackie Robinson, Rosa Parks, and Barack Obama.

It’s amazing what they all overcame and accomplished.

While this book is aimed at children, everyone could benefit from reading it, whether as a refresher or delving into this subject for the first time.

This was an informative book, written in a way that makes it accessible and understandable. I'd say this would be good for upper elementary or middle school. I liked the timeline in the beginning and appreciated the conciseness of that. Thank you to Time Inc. Books and NetGalley for this ARC!
