I got my hands on an advance copy of Keep Me Close and devoured it! Super Soldier Flynn and Dr. Cecelia Gregory were great individual characters and together they are even better. This fast paced story is full of action, suspense and intrigue and a guaranteed page turner. I will definitely be adding this series to my print books as well and will be recommending this book and series to readers.

The Lazarus research facility brings soldiers back to life and gives them super natural strength, speed and other individual abilities. They have all had their memories wiped. The newly enhanced soldier are beyond dangerous. One of the Soldiers is particularly dangerous and he has targeted the former psychiatrist for the facility.

The Soldiers broke out and the facility was shut down but now the founders are trying to track down their ex subjects and cage them again.

This is book 2 in the Lazarus Rising series, they probably should be read in order. I look forward to the next book in the series. This book is full of suspense from beginning to end. It falls into the paranormal category, not my usual genre, but I enjoyed it. Thank you to net galley for an advanced readers copy.

I absolutely loved this book and was hooked from page one. Subject 2 ( Flynn Haddox) from the Lazarus project knows from the first sight of Dr. Cecilia Gregory that she will be his. I love how he works so hard to be better for her. I stayed on edge as Subject 5 ( Bryce) seems to be so powerful and how can they kill him? When will Cecilia realize how important Flynn is to her? He loves her so much, does she love and trust him too? I voluntarily read an advanced readers copy and I highly recommend this book. Cynthia Eden writes with a style that always has me feeling so much emotions for her characters.

I’m a total sucker for this series storyline. I love the idea that these soldiers are being brought back to life and becoming super solders with enhanced abilities. Each one is unique and has a special talent. It’s kind of like reading a super hero book, except these men think they are the monsters and not the hero.

The Lazarus serum has enhanced aggression along with strength and senses. For some of these men, that aggression has made them too dangerous. In others, that aggression has turned into obsession and protective instincts for their women. Now that these super soldiers have broken free from their cages, we have them battling each other and the founder of the program who wants to cage them once again.

I’m completely hooked on these very dominant Alphas that Cynthia Eden has created and can not wait for the next in the series!

Cecelia escaped the compound that held the Lazarus experiments with the help of Flynn, a super soldier, her patient, and by all accounts, a dead man. One of the rogue experiments is still on the loose and Flynn refuses to leave Cece’s side until he can be caught and dispensed with. In Flynn’s mind, he is a monster, a freak of nature but he will do whatever it takes to ensure her safety.

Cecelia survived a nightmare as a young girl which set her on a path that led directly to the program that housed Flynn. Her fears are a real and breathing thing. But just what exactly is her deepest fear?

Flynn has no memory of his past. All he has is what the Lazarus project has left him with and a strong hope that one day Cecelia will trust him.

I am really enjoying this series and all the twists and turns that are revealed along the way. Flynn, as a super soldier, is one incredibly strong, protective hero with a streak of jealousy toward the men who are a part of Cecelia’s lives. Cecelia, while apparently frightened of the things that go bump in the night, is actually so much stronger than anyone gives her credit for. Together, they were incredible.

Fast paced, full of action, suspense and drama, this is an intense read that answers questions even as it leaves the reader wanting to know more. I absolutely love these Lazarus men and the women they have staked a claim on. Can’t wait for the next in the series.

This is an honest review of an advanced copy provided by NetGalley and Hocus Pocus Publishing.

Multi POV
Safe with some other man drama but the heroine has long since been out of the relationship and the men are not forcing themselves back into her life.
Stand alone – While I believe this covers enough ground from the previous book to stand alone, I would recommend you read Never Let Go first.

Cecelia is a psychiatrist, who has dealt with murders and all the monsters in jail, and worked on the Lazarus program. When Flynn, Sawyer, and Elizabeth escaped, they took her with them. Now she’s back in D.C. and trying to get her practice up again. She used to consult with the FBI and it seems a serial killer is back and they want her help. Flynn was dead but he became part of Lazarus project, they brought him back. He is an ex SEAL and is stronger, faster, and can only die with a bullet to the head. He has wanted Cecelia since he met her and becomes her bodyguard to keep her safe. But he wants more and she is a little scared of her feelings and has secrets of her own.

When they start investigating the killer, they realize he was part of the project and they must get to him before he kills someone else. I truly loved this story. It has sex, action, suspense, and hotties. I think this is my favorite but of course it’s a Cynthia Eden book, so you know it’s going to be good.

Absolutely love this new series. Flynn's protective instincts kick in for Cecelia. It's a fight to take on Bryce number 5. Lazarus project more and more secrets come to light. New warriors introduced and old ones to the rescue. A must read. Can't wait for the future stories.

Flynn doesn't have much tact, “so if we eff, it won’t be me effing my shrink.” Flynn loves to protect what's his, "...Flynn put his body against the doorframe, blocking the entrance. He winked at Cecelia. “Don’t worry, baby. He won’t be getting back in.” I really liked this book, I loved Flynn.
