I love books about jail and about the system I don't know why.. But this book was amazing. I was laughing so hard that my roommate downstairs asked what I was doing! The writers did amazing!

A pleasant surprise!
Any book with Wahida Clark's name attached makes me take notice since I love her Thug series. The Pink Panther Clique is an entertaining read about three successful women sent to prison who form a friendship. The three women depend on each other and try to do their time, but of course, in prison, it's always something negative to stop that.
I enjoyed this book, as it was a quick read and very entertaining. Sadly, the women's stories appear to be based on the lives of the three authors, They did a good job with this book.

Good story. It's not often that I find an urban fiction that holds my attention for one whole sitting. I didn't put this book down once and I still wanted more.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading The Pink Panther Clique! These ladies had a story to tell and I was hooked from the beginning. This book tells the story of how three women ended up in federal prison, their experiences within a terribly flawed justice system,  and how they worked together to defy the odds stacked against them. I like how the story was told from each woman's perspective and I stayed invested in the story because of its pacing. Once I started, I could not put the book down! I had to know what would happen next with each of the ladies.  What a great read!

I hope to read more from these authors in the near future. Thank you Netgalley for providing me with a copy of The Pink Panther Clique in exchange for an honest review.

My guilty pleasure. Sexy, gritty street romance at its best. Each tale stands alone yet they blend to near perfection.

Wow, wow, wow. This book is all that and a bag of chips. I woke up at 12:30 am and grabbed this book and finished reading it. As soon as I was done, I logged in to leave a review. 3 queens, boss ladies on the street get sent to Federal Prison for White Collar Crimes. They are given very long sentences. Fate brings these women together and they take their strength, and street smarts and do what they have to do to survive. This book is about sisterhood, loyalty and helping those that need it. Now don't get me wrong there are a few that get their comeuppance, but that just adds to the book. I cannot WAIT for pt 2, because I need to know what happens...lol....Very good book and I highly recommend if this genre is one you like. Thanks to NetGalley, the authors and the publisher for the ARC of this book. Do not sleep on this one!!!!

This novel epitomises the authenticity of #ownvoices as these black women authors bring lived experience of surviving American prisons to these evocative pages with their words!
