I was not able to get into the book which disappointed me. The author is really nice but I just wasn't able to connect with the characters. I understand that them being locked up is supposed to be a mystery but I couldn't understand why they was there. It was confusing and not in a good way. I think its more so that I'm not a huge fan of mystery but I wanted to give the book a chance. I definetly think that people who like mystery would be more into. I also didnt like it being in third person point of view. I find that with it its harder to connect with the characters.

I would recommend this to anyone who loves a well-written young adult thriller. I will be checking out more from this author in the future!

One word to describe The Echo Room is WOW!!! This mind-blowing novel will have you racing through each chapter to find out how it ends. This is a must read
