Such an adorable book with applicable lessons and engaging illustrations. Lunchrooms are always filled with anxiety provoking situations and a whole list of unexpected behaviors that need instruction from educators. I loved this book and the uniqueness regarding lunchroom expected behaviors.

Ethan Eats Hot Lunch by Angela L.. Glover is a delightful children's book about meals in school.

Ethan is starting school and he is very excited about it. His older cousin Lucy is teaching him some basic rules of behavior and he can't wait for school to start. However a huge mess happens in cafeteria.

Beautifully illustrated this charming book teaches children about rules in fun and engaging way. My children were laughing about what happened but after we talked about what we should do in similar situation and learned a valuable lesson.

Nicely done and very entertaining.

This was a really cute book. I loved the idea of getting him ready for new things he would face in kindergarten! It’s such a transition that things like these are important to know! The pictures were really good as well!

This book teaches young kids (likely Kindergarten age) how to behave at school lunch. Rules like waiting patiently in line and holding your tray with both hands are explained well.

There were formatting issues that prevented my reading the digital ARC of ETHAN EATS HOT LUNCH. However, I watched the author’s video on the book on her website, and found the story to be a great way to prep kids to eat lunch at school for the first time. The illustrations were colorful and very cute. On the strength of that viewing, I rate this book 5/5.
