I had to keep putting this one down, walking away, reading something else, and then dipping back in. I get so angry! The book was a little repetitive, but overall I'm going to recommend it.

The author did a thorough job of laying out the case for Trump to be removed from office. Each fact was presented with evidence to support it. Every American should read this.

Trump Must Go, like the title says, is a list of 100 reasons the author wants President Trump out at all costs, ranging from the personal ones about his mental fitness to pure policy disagreements with the President. While some of these reasons were pretty sound, many of them were not absolute reasons, only applying if you agree with Press's observations or opinions on issues. The information in here is pretty solid, everything that Press could cite, he did, which was very gratifying in this time, though some of the sources are from websites and authors with known biases, which was disconcerting when they had some of the most shocking claims (particularly the ones from Fire and Fury). The author did his due diligence though and tried to dispel certain rumours about the President, but I felt uncomfortable reading about psychiatric opinions in contravention to the Goldwater Rule, as I feel it is hard to judge mental state from only public behaviour. The only factual error I noticed was in the author's analogy of "despotic King George III" to the President, when he describes King George as responsible for the taxes on the colonists and the UK's policies of the time. It was the Prime Minister and Parliament who ordered the taxes to pay for a war the colonists started. The king probably did have advisors, but his powers were limited, so he was no the one responsible for "political instability." He also wasn't despised by his subjects, at least not in most of his realms. Again, he was a figurehead. This mistake really annoyed me because the author's analogy is very powerful if one does not know the facts. Additionally, I felt the author was a little lazy at times, citing an article that would in turn cite a report, when it would have likely been more effective to cite the report itself.

The 100 reasons seemed like a publishing ploy, particularly when every prominent cabinet member and official was listed as a separate reason, so parts of the book were stronger and more literal reasons Trump must go. The book could become tiresome at times too because of the countless call to arms by the author and the near constant emotional appeals, as well as his sometimes cartoonishly evil portrayal of the administration. The author also points to Obama's Nobel Peace Prize to highlight how he was better than Trump, but Obama was on the record as disagreeing with the decision to give him the prize, and the author had so many other things he could have picked. He also criticised some Republican politicians as too accepting of money from industries in which they make laws, but that's not a problem unique to one side, it's everywhere. This was another big problem with the book, many of these problems were not unique to the President and his administration, occurring in politics general, however awful that sounds.

This book had a pretty decent concept, listing out grievances with Trump's presidency, but too many of them were problematic for the book to read well, though it's pretty comprehensive in covering every outrage by Trump. It needs some better execution for it to truly work.

Ok, let me say that I at one time for most of my life was a Republican until Trump came along. I decided to put country over party. This book while funny in some ways, backs up every claim the author presents. It seems fun to me that they were only able to come up with 100reasons to impeach Trump. The writer has a great knowledge of radio and television which is easy to gather from the verbiage. I really like this book and I have several family members that will get a copy when it is released. If you ever wonder why Trump is still in office, you should read this. Honestly, I did not know we had that many uneducated and racist people in America. This will certainly make you laugh if you did not vote for him and make you feel foolish if you did.
