This review will be hard to write because I don't know how to express how much I loved this book! With everything from the suspense to the character development, Kim knocked this out of the park. I'm shocked that this is a first-time novelist - she has all of the makings to be a writer that I'll remember for quite some time.
"Miracle Creek" is one of those books that I think reads better if you have no idea what the story is about. So, I'm not going to detail the plot. I will say it was the perfect blend of courtroom drama, mystery, and literary fiction. Kim writes with such gifted skill - every word on the page has intention and meaning.
With perfect pacing and a wholly satisfying ending, all I can say is that I'll wait anxiously for Kim's next book to come out.
