I am not one of life's criers...really I am not...this book though! I sobbed...pretty much from the first of chapter 3 until the end!!!

Do not miss Daisy's journey!

I loved this book. It’s lighthearted, fun, funny, a little daft and wholly entertaining with a whole host of characters for your enjoyment. It’s easy to read in an afternoon and will, definitely make you smile!

A lovely mad cap story about love, grief, jealously and romance. Four good friends, a widow, Daisy, her single best friends Lisa & Tom and her husbands best friend James. Throw in some over the top posh guests, a rich Texan, an annoying mother and a Scots hunk and you get a non stop fun filled adventure.

Daisy is devastated when her husband dies from cancer and so when she receives a letter that he wrote to her telling that he wants her to continue their dream of turning their big country house into a guest house she is not sure that she can continue on her own. There is help at hand though from her friends and especially the gorgeous James who hands her further letters from her husband.......... but can she really move on and be happy again?

A lovely warm hearted book that makes you fall in live with the characters and really root for them to find happiness

Quick read which centres on Daisy, who has recently lost her husband. She is surrounded by a great group of friends she has had since her uni day, and they all support her on the next chapter of her life.

I loved this. I feel like Lottie Phillips keeps getting better with each novel she writes and this one is proof of that. It was engaging, humorous but also emotional and just overall really lovely and easy to read.

I loved the cover, this is what initially drew me in to the book. It's so summery and cheerful and I loved the bright colours. The blurb as well sounded interesting and I was so looking forward to reading and finding out what happens.

I found myself crying at parts of the book, which is most unlike me! But it was just so emotional and beautifully written, that I couldn't not cry!

Overall, a fantastic story. Can't wait to see what else Lottie Phillips brings out

This is my first book by this author the cover and description really caught my attention and it's simply brilliant such an easy read with great characters and full of romance and heartbreak but mainly about moving forward after heartbreak. It's a summer of new beginnings such a charming read and amazingly brilliant from the first page.
Daisy has her lift turned upside down when her husband dies and he leaves her a letter with a wish to turn the house they live in to a guest house but is it to much of a challenge for her. She has helps from her friends and James who is handsome but she can't move forward she believe if she goes into the study she can speak with her husband and he is there. James keeps giving her letters from her husband about her moving on and can she realise her heart is beginning to heal. The one wish for her was to have children and when she gets one letter from her husband and it changes her life forever. Can she move forward and be happy or not.
Simply fantastic book highly recommend reading it worth more than five stars for sure.
