Wonderful, heartfelt, and adorable story! Perfect example of putting your loved ones desires ahead of your own...which is after all, love. The cabin holds a special place in Dylan and Paige's hearts, much like my cabin is in my heart. I could totally relate to waking up each morning and feeling blessed, only in my case I have majestic sunsets.

I usually really enjoy Hallmark books, especially because they are so light - hearted and simple. This book was like that but I just couldn't get into it.

Dylan is an investment banker. His boss is a jerk and makes life rough for his employees. They put in a lot of hours and the boss always finds fault with their work and is constantly having them totally redo things because he has decided to go a different direction. Dylan is supposed to be the next one promoted to VP.

Paige is a grade school teacher. She writes children's stories and keeps trying to get them published. She likes sewing and baking although she typically burns whatever she makes. She loves in a little cabin she just adores and each morning she steps outside to say what all she is grateful for.

Dylan and Paige meet at a bakery down the street from her school. They are interested in each other but no names were exchanged. Each one keeps returning to the bakery hoping to run into the other again. They finally do and it turns out Paige was one of Dylan's nephew's teachers. Dylan and Paige start to see each other and enjoy one another's company.

When the cabin Paige lives in goes up for sale, both Dylan and Paige want to buy it. Neither knows that the other is interested.

It wasn't a bad book. I just couldn't really connect with the characters.

"Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for the advance copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review."

Loved this book very much. It had just enough sweet romance and the storyline was great! I highly recommend!

What a wonderful book! The way Stacey Donovan writes you can feel every emotion and feel like you are there. This is a very well written book and the recipe at the end sounds delicious. My favorite saying in the book was when Paige told Dylan that her favorite day of the week was Monday. She called it "Clean Slate Monday." Because if your last week-or last month, or your last year, or whatever- if you had disappointments, or you messed up, you can forget all about that. Because it's a brand new week. A fresh start. I can't wait to see the Hallmark movie of this book. Thank you Hallmark Publishing via NetGalley for the ARC copy of this great book. I really enjoyed it.This is my honest opinion.

I was so excited to read this book because it features a first grade teacher and I'm a first grade teacher myself!! It couldn't have been a more perfect read for me or for fall! The unique thing about this book compared to the other Hallmark books is that there is no movie that goes along with it. This allowed me to imagine the characters the way I wanted instead of picturing the actors in my head as I read the story. I really hope this becomes a Hallmark movie in the future because I loved it! The book was as good as the cover is gorgeous! I can't recommend this book enough!
