I love the subjects from each day, but in some points was not quite motivated to pray about that subject. Not even the questions could make me feel the importance of the subject. For a book on motavating woman to pray, it could be better.

Prayer journals are always risky, because you never know ahead of time whether it is one that will speak to your soul or not. But I ended up really appreciating this 30-Day Prayer Challenge. Each daily reading included a scripture, a devotion, questions for introspection and prayers for morning, noon and night. The readings were very specific, which I enjoyed (often they tend to be very generic), but of course that also meant that some were more relevant or applicable than others - no matter, those days I just read two! :-)

I'd definitely recommend it for women who'd like to give their prayer life a bit of a boost, or who are just on the lookout for a new prayer journal or devotional. At 30 days it's a very manageable commitment.

Simple, yet meaningful, this devotional will help you stay on track each day. So glad I got to review and read this book.

Thanks to author, publisher and Netgalley for the chance to read this book. While I got the book for ,it had no bearing on the rating I gave it.

I love this! I have struggled to reestablish my faith for awhile since my dad passed and this is a perfect start to challenge myself.

A lovely little book, for women of all ages.
It shows just a little of your time each day can make a difference to the whole day or end a day well.
I enjoyed the 30 days alot, and really felt the difference.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

“This book, written for women of all ages, provides a month’s worth of specific, daily prayer challenges that will draw you closer to your Father God through meaningful conversation.”

This is a relatively good example of a short 30 day devotional. There is so much to like about this small prayer book. Each day has a verse, a short devotion and three different prayer segments. O’Dell has written a nice easy devotional which is easy to read in about 5 minutes each day. It would be good for in the car waiting for kids or in the morning before a woman starts her day.
The only negative aspect of this book is O’Dell uses the Message devotional Bible for some of her daily scripture verses instead of using an accurate translation. This was a huge red flag for me and made me question her discernment abilities. Any author who takes on the task of writing a Christian book must use a proper Bible for their scriptures.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher and NetGalley. The views given are my own. #NetGalley #30DayPrayerChallengeForWomen #BarbourBooks

An easy and quick devotional to spend time on each day. The day has a quick devotional, scripture, and three times of prayer. I found it helpful to have it structured this way to keep you thinking about the meaning of the scriptures throughout the day.
