This was an absolutely delightful book! I laughed so many times and enjoyed the wonderful insights into the stories the Kandel sisters shared. In fact, the book was so good, that I will purchase a paper copy of the book once it is released.

Whether or not you are in the "senior" group...or just heading there quickly...you will find encouragement. Even though you are aging, if you are still alive and breathing, God can still use you. And no matter what your health, your energy level, your socioeconomic status, you can be used to further the Kingdom.

Thank you to NetGalley and the FaithWords publishers for an ARC in exchange for my honest review. I look forward to more books by these wonderful ladies.

Don't think retirement means retired! It just means you now have more time and different ways to love and serve the Lord. That is the message from these four sisters. You will laugh, learn, and be inspired for your journey ahead. As the sisters say, you are not done until you are dead! I thoroughly enjoyed this fun to read book!

Getting old, hitting retirement, you might think your work for the Lord is over. No so says these four sisters. Your work is not over until the Lord calls you home. And being retired just means you have more time and energy to devote to the kingdom.

With doses of humor and insight, these women encourage readers to keep serving, keep cheering, and keep praying. They tell some of the funniest stories with really good lessons as a result. One sister participated in a donkey basketball game but her donkey refused to budge from the sidelines. Another received an insight from the Lord from her persistently digging beagle. And then there was the time one's husband was strip searched by the TSA (hip replacements). They have a way with words. Putting makeup on, one says, it takes twice as long to look half as good. This is a great book for senior Christians who refuse to be put on the shelf. Don't go into old age without a fight, these women encourage. Their stories are fun and their lessons are so encouraging. If you want a good laugh and tons of encouragement to keep working for the Kingdom no matter your age, this is the book for you.

I received a complimentary egalley of this book from the publisher my comments are an independent and honest review.

Loved this book! It’s laugh-out-loud funny, as well as encouraging and inspirational. I’m just beginning retirement and this was just what I needed to read. Since I’m a retired elementary teacher, the field trip story that begins the book made me laugh until I cried.
I’m hoping to read more from these ladies. It was great to read a book that was for my season of life, but this book would be an encouragement to younger ladies, too.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher. All opinions are my own.

This joyful book by four sisters reflects on many aspects of life in and near retirement. Each of the chapters relates the discussion back to their lives as Christians and ends with a prayer that's short & to the point.

With so many folks entering this period in life and with so few that address this from a Christian woman's point of view, the book is quite welcome.
