I throughly enjoyed this collection of cozy mysteries. All are well written and although written by different authors the characters and stories all meld together perfectly. I received an arc from Netgalley and this is my unbiased review.

This is a fun collection of six whodunit mysteries set in one small town in Kansas. A group of women in a bookclub are entangled in each mystery. Each one is targeted or suspected in some way and it’s up to the women to prove their innocence and figure out who the real culprit is. The local sheriff is a suspicious, unhelpful sort who doesn’t like their nosing around.
I enjoyed all six stories. The mysteries are solid. I appreciated that the last two stories changed things up a bit. If there were six murders in a small town in a short period of time, I’d think about moving. I loved how these women cared for each other in practical ways and stood by each other. They’re an eclectic group of women. I especially enjoyed the feisty Jo, a woman in her 70s who wasn’t afraid of “using her age to her advantage.” She reminded me of Mrs. Pollifax, another older woman turned sleuth. Danny was cool, too. He had a great sense of humor and didn’t get uptight when a friend questioned his actions.
Thank you to Barbour books for providing me with a complimentary e-copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

I love these complilation books. This book contains short cozy mysteries that appear to have a connection. I love the fast pace of the mystery. Each authors story was well written and enjoyable. I am not a coffee drinker but enjoyed the plots anyway. Thank you netgalley and Barbour Publishong for the arc of this book. The opinions in the review are my own.

A delightful set of cozy mysteries! Set in a small Kansas town called Oak Grove, each story is connected and involves the members of the local 'coffee club' as they stumble upon murder and mayhem. Turning into amateur sleuths, they work out 'who dun it', sometimes to clear their own names. Some have a hint of romance too. I enjoyed all of the stories a lot, and had fun following the quirky bunch through their adventures. Fans of cozy mysteries with a bit of faith should enjoy this collection. 4.5 stars

I received this ARC via Netgalley and the publisher in return for an honest review. This is a series of six cosy mysteries, all set in the same small town, using the same characters. Each author provided a story about one of the six ladies who make up the local 'Coffee Club". Personal faith is a strong presence in the stories. The mysteries are well written and the authors do a good job of intertwining each person's story into the context of the town and the other stories. Nice cosy mystery series.

Fun, fast paced stories for the cozy mystery lover. It was enjoyable to read the different stories. As a coffee lover, I love to read any cozy mysteries features around that delectable beverage.

This collection of cozy mini mysterys definitely live up to their genre. The short stories are inter connected but not all of the characters play a large role in all of the stories. As stand alone short stories I like them but their connection to each other is fairly loose

The Coffee Club Mysteries by Darlene Franklin, Cynthia Hickey, Elizabeth Ludwig, Dana Mentink, Candance Prentice and Janice Thompson is a wonderful compilation of short mysteries that are unique yet embrace many of the same characters. The Coffee Club ladies are a book club that meets weekly, or more often as needed, at the Coffee Perk owned by Morgan Butler.
The Coffee Perk is the focus of the first story as Billy Bob Rankins is murdered while installing the new sign. There are a lot of suspects as Billy did not have many friends. Morgan and friends Harper, Jo, Penny, Evelyn and Jeanine enlist the assistance of mystery writer, Dean Matthews, as they ask questions all around town. Will the amateur sleuths solve the mystery before the police?
The next story focuses on Penny and her bee hives. With the help of her little dachshund the Coffee Club ladies uncover clues the police may be missing.
Evelyn finds a dead body in the church kitchen in the third story. Who would want the cook for the homeless dead? Again, he is not very well liked so there are lots of suspects including Evelyn’s cousin by marriage, Jonathan who suffers from PTSD. Can they save Jonathan and solve the mystery? Is romance in the air when the cute computer guy from church offers to help buy a new computer when hers dies?
In the fourth story the ladies are celebrating Jo’s seventy-fifth birthday. Someone sends her a large carton of her favorite coffee creamer with no card attached. She offers to share it after carefully ascertaining the nut flavor is artificial. Unfortunately, her former boss’s daughter helps herself and later dies from her nut allergy. Who knew about Monica’s allergy and that she wouldn’t be able to pass up the coffee creamer?
Story number five finds the ladies on a trip to the next town to go antiquing for the weekend. Harper buys a small jade owl at an estate sale and bad things begin to happen, including Harper becoming quite ill after ingesting nuts at the nut-free bed and breakfast. Is the owl cursed? Or is it worth a lot more than she paid for it? The ladies enlist the help of the very handsome deputy sheriff to solve the case. Is he interested in more than just solving the case? Perhaps a bit of romance?
Finally, we end with a story of Christmas and giving to those less fortunate. What happens when the $3000 raised comes up missing? Who had access and why would they steal from children? We quickly learn that some of the characters may not be as appear on the surface. It is a reminder to get to know people before passing judgement. Will the money ever be recovered or will Morgan need to replace it as it was in her hands for safe keeping?
I loved these stories! They are all unique and have interesting twists and turns yet involve the same small town and main characters. You really get to know the ladies as more of their personal lives comes out in each story. I give this book 5 of 5 stars. A wonderful Christian novel. Extremely well done.
I received an advance copy of this book through Netgalley in exchange for my honest review.

This is a collection of six faith based mysteries from six different authors. All the mysteries involve the same friends who investigate and solve the mysteries. The stories are clean, no profanity and well written.
1st story ~ Coffee, Tea or Murder by Cynthia Hickey
Morgan Butler owns the coffee shop in the small town where she lives. She contacts the local handyman, Billy Bob Rankins, because she needs a new sign for her business. He orders the new sign, however, when he comes to the coffee shop to replace a lightbulb on the old sign, a temporary fix until the new sign arrives, he unexpectedly falls to his death.
It was a good whodunit short story. It did keep my attention. 3 *** stars!
2nd story ~ The Honey Hive Mystery by Dana Mentink
Penny Parsons wakes early one dark morning and hears someone walking on the gravel outside her home. After some consideration, she leaves her warm bed and cycles to the nearest neighbor's house for help. When she arrives, she discovers he has been shot.!
This one was suspenseful at times. I enjoyed it. I had three suspects and one of my choices was the killer, however, the murderous fiend was not my first choice. 4 **** stars!
3rd story ~ Chili Con Carne Murder by Candice Prentice
Evelyn Kliff discovers, Kirk Phillips, a church meal organizer, murdered in the church! Evelyn's late husband's cousin Jonathan is a suspect. She decides to investigate and solve the murder to help Jonathan. It was a good mystery. I didn't solve it. 3.5 *** stars!
4th story ~ Nuts for Coffee by Darlene Franklin
It begins with a birthday party and ends with murder! Jo Anderson is up for the challenge and does some good sleuthing to discover the identity of the killer. 4 **** stars!
5th story ~ In Hot Water by Elizabet Ludwig
Harper and her friends go antiquing where Harper finds a jade-looking owl at an estate sale which she purchases. As a result of the owl, one problem after another is happening to Harper and her friends. They decide to learn what is so special about this mysterious owl before another incident occurs. 3.5 *** stars!
6th story ~ Nutty As A Fruitcake by Janice Thompson
Jeanine works hard in her bakery, giving whenever she can. It's Christmas time and she's baking fruitcakes as a fundraiser for the children in Haiti. The money disappears and everyone is puzzled over this distressing thievery. Good story. It kept me guessing. 4 **** stars!

The Coffee Club Mysteries
By Various Authors
This collection of mysteries follows 6 women of Oak Grove, Kansas. The women of this book club find themselves caught up in all sorts of trouble.
I found the stories to be simple and unrealistic. Each story was written by a different author but with the same little book club and coffee shop. Sadly, they were predictable and consequently uninteresting. I did not enjoy this read as much as I had hoped.
I received a copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for my honest opinion which I share here.

A nice collection of 6 cozy little mysteries, set at a coffee shop. I enjoyed this set of fun stories.

The Coffee Club Mysteries contains six shorter stories, all centered around a group of ladies in a small town. What's not to love about intrigue, a great cast of characters, and a cozy coffee shop? Recommended for cozy mystery fans. Thanks to Net Galley and the Publisher for this review copy.

6 Mysteries set in Kansas. Intriguing- at least that's what I thought when I decided to try it out (I don't have the best history with books with several different stories in them) and request it. And after reading the first mystery, I didn't regret it! I found it very attention-grabbing, and the premise of the plot was definitely interesting and kept me turning the pages. The characters were also SO COOL- I mean, a writer! who wants to write about the mystery! and a coffee-shop keeper!!! However, after I moved on to the other stories, I found them boring. The writing styles definitely differed and felt lacking compared to the first story, so I stopped reading them. Because of that alone, I felt the need to detract two stars from the overall rating. I personally would read more of the first author's works, but probably not the rest.

*FTC DISCLOSURE: I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley. A positive review was not required. These are my honest thoughts and opinions.*

The Coffee Club Mysteries is a collection of six short stories by different authors that are cleverly interwoven and are tied into the local coffee shop, The Coffee Perk.. It is interesting to see the way the coffee club ladies get involved with solving the various crimes. It is an enjoyable read. The Coffee Club Mysteries is a delectable collection of cozy mysteries. I enjoyed each of the six stories. Even though they are all written by different authors, they connect in unique ways. I love that the ladies are tied together as a book club, even though they spend more time solving crimes than discussing books. If you enjoy mysteries, this is the perfect book to cozy up with on a winter day. I received a complimentary copy of this book from Barbour Publishing, Inc. through NetGalley. I loved how there was a base cast for this book, it felt familiar and I really enjoyed the mysteries surrounding the small town in Kansas. I wish these were longer though! I feel like each could have been it's own stand alone series.

I absolutely loved this book. It has multiple books in the book. A new author writes each new book using the same characters and theme as the first one. It was great to keep up with the characters in the books, without having to wait for the next book in a series to be released. This kept me entertained for quite a while. This sweet little town and awesome friends group really warms your heart. I definitely recommend this book.

This is clean Christian cozy collection.
The stories were standard in terms of the cozy genre but each story was written with a different character as the protagonist.
The collection was okay but it did not really grab me.

A few years ago Barbour had a monthly cozy mystery subscription and I was disappointed when they canceled it. These cozy mysteries are like those. We get to know six book club women in a small town in Kansas. They each have their own stories written by a different author, but stories complement one another. The characters are of different ages and occupations so each story is unique in its narrative. I enjoyed these mysteries and hope that Barbour publishes further books like this in the future
