As a fellow Heartie, I adore all things When Calls the Heart, and this devotional is no exception!!! What a timely arrival for me to start reading it as the new season just started this past Sunday! I love devotionals in how they include different sections - a quote, verse, reading, prayer, and reflection questions. It's like a mini reflective bible study but based on my favorite show, WCTH. "When God calls your heart to love, something extraordinary happens." As a single mom this still rings true for loving the people right in front of me, my little ones and the family that comes alongside. Heart warming stories from the show and sweet devotions, sharing how simple acts of kindness and love reach others around us, are just the lighthearted positivity and hope that I need in this season, thank you Brian Bird and the WCTH cast and production teams.

I loved this book and recommend others read it as well. I couldn't put it down once I started reading it.

The authors state as the goal: "This book is a journey through Hope Valley to celebrate the love moments and life lessons that have been demonstrated there. Through the poignant true stories and love tips submitted by the Hearties - the devoted fans of "When Calls the Heart" - we think you will be inspired and touched as we are.
The various devotionals combine a Bible verse, a quote, an event from a book by Janette Oke or the TV series with an application which is followed by a prayer, questions for reflection (A Loving Heart), a challenge for application (Love in Action) and a real-life story.
The devotional is heartwarming with the quotes from Hope Valley. It is creative, encouraging, teaches valuable lessons and shows God's love. I recommend this devotional for readers who love heartwarming stories and "When calls the Heart" series. It is not for those readers who look for an in-depth Bible study and Exegesis. I also consider it difficult for readers who do not know Janette Oke's books and the TV series which is used as a base for the devotional.

This book is not only a devotional but also makes us stop and think about the words of God. Living by his words and reading true stories from others will lift you up.

For lovers of When Call the Heart TV show, this devotional give you a chance to fall in love with all the fantastic people of Hope Valley. You get a chance to see how the characters have demonstrated God's call to love, even when it may be difficult. While I enjoyed the book - the issues with formatting made it challenging to follow the prose. In any event, I enjoyed going down memory lane and remembering Jack and all the other characters that reside in Hope Valley.

A wonderful devotional for anyone who feels like they need to learn to love more people and things about life in general! Great for busy moms that sometimes feel unloved because a lot of times they put everyone else before them. Also, a great way to show you sometimes people need love and kindness even when you feel they don’t deserve it! I truly enjoyed this devotional and will for sure be buying some for gifts!! I'm in love with the "when God calls the heart" show and when I saw that there was a devotional off of it I had to read it!! Anything that comes from this series is so inspirational! The devotionals are very down to earth and easy to understand. They are very inspirational, the scripture and questions are great as well. A must read for everyone!

My favorite show on Hallmark and now it's in a book. I watch every week never miss it I look forward to reading more Hallmark books.

I love watching the TV show and this book is perfect for those who are looking for a daily devotional. The stories are warm and inviting and I loved reading it. I read it in a few weeks but it was one of the best ones I have read. I can't wait until another one comes out and I will definitely be purchasing that one. I highly recommend reading this one.

I’ve read all of the When God Calls the Heart devotionals but this one is by far my favorite! I absolutely adored the heart warming stories filled with so many kinds of love and how When Calls the Heart relates to them—friendship, familial storge love, agape, and romantic love, as well as God’s divine love. While reading, my husband asked why my sad was leaking out, but it wasn’t sadness, it was joy! A delightful devotional for old fans and new ones alike!
