Ashley Teodora spends her days juggling work, school and her five-year-old daughter, Lily. Ashley is asked by her best friend, Carla, to help her in Illinois. Carla is going through a rough time herself. When Ashley gets home she is told that Lily has been abducted! How can that be, her grandmother was watching her. Catherine Teodora was watching Lily, she turned her head for just a moment and she was gone! The family is pulled together in this nightmare, but some members of the family are hiding secrets. Secrets that could tear the family apart, but will they help find Lily? You will need to read the book to find out what happens. I received a free copy of this book from Booksprout and voluntarily leaving a review.

This is a heart stopping, bone chilling, scared to the bone storytelling. I could not put this book down. I will recommend this book to everyone.

Although this is the third book in the series, it can be read as a standalone. Ashley has gone to visit her friend Carla (featured in book #2) and leaves her beloved daughter Lily with her mom Catherine. Unfortunately, the scene is set for the person stalking Ashley and determined to make her pay for some unknown slight in the past. Lily is kidnapped and the rest of the book deals with the family dynamics of Ashley, Catherine and Lily, along with newly released prisoner Reece. If you are confused, that is to be expected because there are many characters introduced quickly and not developed very well before a new one is introduced. There are several psychos in the plot which makes it hard to determine exactly what happened to Lily. The book started out slow, picked up the pace a little in the middle and then fell flat at the end. It is an okay read for those who enjoy psychological mysteries, but it was hard to keep my interest. I just wanted it to end so I could put all of the loose threads together. The conclusion was okay, but the author threw in another “say, what?” at the end that had me wondering where in the world it was going...and then it didn’t. It just ended.

No parent could imagine a more horrible nightmare than to have their child taken. This crime will pull the many characters in the story together to get Lily back to her mother. Donna Zadunajsky has written the characters so well, you have to wonder if this is her worst nightmare too. The story moves quickly as each characters backstory is woven into the whole as the reader tries to figure out how they will save Lily and win the day. A pretty interesting twist on a story line that you didn't think could be twisted any further.

A mother's worst nightmare - her child is missing! Ashley has taken a trip to visit a grieving friend and left her child Lily with her mother. Then she gets the news that her child has been taken and another girl is lso missing. When Ashley gets back to her mother, she finds that her brother has unexpectantly visited and suspicions start. Then out of the blue, Ashley runs into the man she has thought about for the past 5 years and he has a good reason to help her locate her missing daughter.
This book had a good storyline, but I did not care much for the style of writing and could not get past some of the incorrect grammar and spelling. I do thank Netgalley and the publishers for my ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Twisted Secrets was a great thriller with a lot of twists and turns. It was the third in the series and can be read as a standalone. I will pick up the previous two books since this one was great.

Thank you to Donna M. Zadunajsky and NetGalley for the release of this book.

I think this book was acutally published in 2017 but found it while browsing in NetGalley. I did find the synopsis appealing. However, I did predict things before they happened. I am not blaming the author, that is just me because I can't wait to let the book solve it for me. I have to do that myself. So for that I did not enjoy this as much as should have let my self. The book was good and the author did great so I will not fault the author for my anticipation lol. It was a solid read.

The author wrote a thriller that started with a bang and just kept going! The twists kept coming, so I couldn't put it down. I cannot wait to read more from this author!

This is the only book I have read by this author and unfortunately I think it will remain that way. I found very little to like in this story which is a shame because any book takes a long while to write and becomes part of the writer during that time.

I realise,  from the title, it is supposed to be convoluted but it only took things in obvious directions and there were very few surprising moments.

I was able to read a copy of this book thanks to Netgalley and the publishers in return  for an unbiased review but regret that this time I don't feel able to recommend it.

This was a good book with numerous twists and turns, which kept you guessing on what was going to happen next.

There are a lot of interesting characters in the book which added to the books appeal, but it would have been good to have had some more background on the history of the bad guys in the book and what drove them to become psychos. Neverless, the book is definitely worth a read and I look forward to reading the authors other books

I read Hidden Secrets prior to reading Twisted Secrets so I thought I knew what to expect with the third book in this series. I'm sorry to say after reading about repeated kidnappings I grew tired of the plot. Some of the characters were confusing. There were several times when a character was described by saying "things went black." I was surprised by repeated grammatical errors. The author's consistent use of her instead of she was annoying. Twice using a Hearst instead of a hearse when transporting a body was ridiculous. These errors are usually corrected by a good editor or copywriter. I hope Ms Zadunajsky has a better team to work with in her future writings.

I received a complimentary ebook from the publisher through NetGalley for the purpose of review. All opinions expressed are entirely my own.

A parent's worst nightmare ... someone snatched Ashley's 5 year old daughter, Lily, when she was with her grandmother at the zoo.

She is beside herself with worry ... and when her daughter's biological father shows up, she doesn't know whether to be happy ...or suspect him of being responsible. Throw in her ding-a-ling brother who hears voices and her most recent boyfriend who is angry because she broke her engagement to him and there are plenty of suspects. But why?

A family pulls together in a time of need, but what happens when those that are close to you are hiding behind twisted secrets?

This is an action-packed page turner. At the heart of the story is the family dynamics of Ashley, Reece and Lily. Although 3rd in the series, this is well read as a stand alone. And there's just a hint at the ending that there will be another addition to the series.

Many thanks to the author / Netgalley for the digital copy of TWISTED SECRETS. Opinions expressed here are unbiased and entirely my own.
