This is book 2 in a series and I have never read this author or series before. At first I was super confused and lost and I did not think it stood alone. Then I kept reading and things were better explained. I don't think it really stands alone. It sort of continues things from book 1 but you could read it and eventually figure out things.

This story is about Sofia and Roberto they are enemies. Their families are BIG enemies. Her mother had an affair with his father and her sister is his half sister. Plus his family stole her moms chocolate recipe journal. The two are pretending to be engaged and in love to promote a chocolate festival in Italy. That is where this book takes place.

I felt this was a well writtend, enemies to lovers story and it features chocolate and it made me very hungry.

The story of Sofia and Roberto - I had not read the first book in this series, but I don't think it mattered.
They are only together for PR reasons, and in real life work for their families competing chocolate companies. But as they spend more time together they start to fall in love - but what will happen when Sofia finds out that Roberto has betrayed her?
