A very funny and entertaining cozy mystery.
It's well written, with a cast of lovely and interesting characters and an engaging plot.
I hope to read soon another instalment in this series as it's really good.
Highly recommended!
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC

Book 1 (Ghost Busting Mystery) of this new cozy mystery series was a real treasure ... funny, witty, laugh-out-loud. Book 2, Baby Daddy Mystery, is, amazingly, more of the same. Cozy mysteries are not usually this FUNNY, but this series sparkles with the down-home humor and witticism of two retired lifelong friends, RJ and Veenie, who live in rural Indiana and take minimum wage jobs as PIs in training. It's as funny as the Golden Girls and as upbeat and feel good as Janet Evanovich. Great mystery at the heart of it all too. If you've spent any time in farm country you'll appreciate the antic originality of this series. Thank you Ms. Pettles and Hot Pants Press ... this is escapist beach-reading at it's best! Lets hope Ms, Pettles types faster. I LOVE Pawpaw County Indiana and the sassy pants oldsters who live there. Go get 'em gals!
