Thus book is very insightful for couples thinking of marriage. It lays out questions in a way that strengthens commitment and brings issues to light before they become a problem. Should be given to evey engaged couple. |
B efore the Ring answers many questions that young adults face (teens and 20 somethings)may have as well as be a great conversation starter. It also provides a helpful guide of questions which are meant to be answered either alone or with your significant other. A great gift to give a newly engaged couple as well as someone who is interested in marriage in the future. How well do you know your one ? Lisa |
Amazing! I definitely think I will be purchasing this for my friend before her wedding. This book doesn’t make you doubt everything, I think it really makes you open your eyes to the delicate situation. If you are ever unsure about someone or something, I’d say to go to this book. |
This book is interesting and that's just not all it is, it's written using simple language, and the tone invites a conversation between couples. It's like the pre-marital counseling served over time without a rush but with a call for patience and openness. I loved the questions on ambitions and dreams and interests because I struggle with those. Thanks Netgalley for the eARC, I am certain that anyone who is looking to establish a relationship that yields to marriage would really enjoy reading this book. |
As someone who has recently gotten married it was very cool to read through these questions. I like this idea and think it would be a great idea for any couple preparing for marriage, especially if they are not doing any scheduled pre-marriage counseling. This book is filled with many good questions to ask before you get married. |
This book raised some really interesting questions for a couple to ask each other before they consider marriage. I asked my boyfriend some of them and found out things I didn't know about him! I enjoyed the little case studies and trying to work out how they could have avoided their circumstances. |
