This book is a great resource if you are interested in natural remedies. There are tips and recipes and as well as information. The tips run from health and beauty and help to cleaning. The book is just straight forward information about apple cider vinegar and the different ways it can be used. My daughter used the tip about apply apple cider vinegar to your nails before painting them to keep them chip-free longer. So far so good.

I voluntarily agreed to read a copy of this book supplied by NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own and in no way have been influenced.

Love the science bit of this book and the instructions on how to make your own acv - I'm now saving my apple scraps to do this and can't wait to try some of the recipes as there's quite a few interesting ideas in this book!!
Thanks netgalley for the copy in return for an honest review.

I have learned over the years that apple cider vinegar is a pretty important thing to keep in the kitchen, but after reading this book I learned even more about why! I love how detailed this book is and how deep it seems that the author has gone into researching ACV and worked to make sure all of it was clearly detailed in this book. I love learning about what seem to be basic pantry staples, and how they can affect and help the body as well as be used throughout the house. This little book is a nugget of gold; I can't wait to get a hard copy and annotate for myself.

There is lots of info in this small book, but it was rather boring and I kept finding myself tuning out.

An interesting book from a series of Natural Apothecary. This one is about Cider Vinegar and covers chapters that has information about cider vinegar, and then goes onto "Cider vinegar and a Healthy Diet", "Natural Remedies for Heath", Natural Therapies" and lastly "Natural Cleaning Products." Each has information and recipes to prepare your own products and how it is effective for health and uses.
If one is interested in natural apothecary this is a very detailed book, straightforward and well written

Very informative. I found the insight of information great especially things like although there’s very little nutritional value as an additive it may increase absorption of vitamins, minerals such as calcium for some individuals.

So thankful I came across this book. I love to make salad dressings and other recipes using apple cider vinegar. I learned so much from this book about uses with ACV, health benefits, excellent recipes and more. Example of what I didn’t know: Undiluted ACV has high acidity and will soften your tooth enamel and could cause cracks or breakage on teeth.

This is a good resource for anyone interested in using more natural remedies to get and stay healthy, though many of the health claims are anecdotal or based on small studies. Recipes and instructions for use for healthy, beauty and cleaning are included along with instruction for choosing premade or even making your own apple cider vinegar.

Thank you to Nourish and Netgalley for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for my honest review.

These little ingredient-specific books are pretty bare bones, containing only some high-level scientific info on how/why these natural substances work for health, beauty and cleaning, and some general instructions on making a handful of things. If you're seriously into learning about natural wellness, you'll probably want a more in-depth or universal book; however, it would be handy, I guess, to think "oh I have a cough and a lemon on hand" and then see what you could figure out there.

Great little book, gives advice on what to buy and what to a boil. How to make your own cider vinegar and then lots of useful remedies .. everything is in plain English, easy to understand and is really good as warns you to consult doctor before trying certain things with your health. Helpful and interesting.

Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for a free copy for an honest opinion

As a lover of ACV, I was so glad to receive an ARC of this book - thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for that.

The book is broken down in to easy to digest (excuse the pun!) chapters for any kind of reader. In addition to facts and history of ACV there are also some little recipes and tricks that can be utilised. I already use ACV for a number of different purposes in my house (from cleaning to washing my hair) but have learnt far more since reading this.

The beauty of this is that it provides a great amount of knowledge but doesn't burrow down in to the detail too far, provides just the right about of information required for any reader. I for one am happy to discover that AVC can help with the treatment of head lice - will happily try this next time it hits the young ones (before the god awful stuff we normally use!).

I'm really happy that I now have a copy on my iPad that I can refer back to and remind myself if I forget anything!
