"My Mommy and Me" takes children through the normal things they do with their mothers. This is a helpful way to remind kids of how the small, every day activities help build their relationship with their parents. The book also gives children examples of things that the characters have in common with their mothers, which will encourage children to think about things that they enjoy doing with their own mothers.

As expected, this follows the exact same format as the Daddy edition, a list of things certain animal kids like to do with the feminine parental unit, shown in big cartoony art.
Designed for beginning readers, it’s meant to get the child thinking about their own experiences with Mommy. It’s sweet.

The “buy me” page at the end mentions something about how the pages can be folded to reveal new images, like the old MAD magazines, but it obviously doesn’t work on digital.

This picture book for toddlers has very bright, appealing and cheerful illustrations. The simple text describes activities that moms and their children enjoy together. I had an e-galley so no flaps, but the real book has them to lift and I am sure that makes this one even more fun.

This book is just adorable! So colorful and fun. My 3 year old son and I smiled through the whole thing and enjoyed identifying all the different animals.

This is a simple story about how moms and children play together. Each illustration is a depiction of a different cartoon animal and tells of the fun things that the child does with their mommy.

My Mommy and Me is a delightful picture book for toddlers and preschool children. Beautifully illustrated, the book is written to show all the wonderful things moms and children can do together. As a pediatric speech language pathologist, I see this book as a springboard to helping children visualize verbs in a pleasantly illustrated way, using animals.

This would be a great addition to day cares, preschool classrooms, and libraries, as well as a simple purchase for a special toddler. Colorful and easy language, it shows the family experience in a fun, loving way.

I am an avid reader of Christian fiction, and while browsing for appropriate books on NetGalley, I came across some appealing children's books. I immediately thought that this would be an interesting and innovative way to read to my four-year-old daughter. A couple of books available for request was by Liesbet Slegers.

My Mommy and Me is a fun, colourful book that is easy to follow. My daughter enjoyed looking at all the pictures and seeing what each different animal child enjoys most about their mothers and what they enjoy doing together.

I love that this Mommy and Me book features all different baby animals and their mommy. Bright pictures with lots of items to point at and talk about while you read it to your young child. The story is cute and describes many things that mommy and son/daughter can do together. This would definitely be a well read book in my household.

Sweet. Different animals (mice, cats, rabbits, and elephants) appear throughout this colorful flap book (hard to tell what the flaps do in the e-version) as "Mommy and Me" pairs. Working in the yard, going shopping, taking baths, etc. This will likely become a "read-it-to-me-again" favorite for toddlers.

This is a wonderful book! I love the story and the colorful illustrations. There is enough detail to point to and name pictures, animals, etc. Very cute!

My 3 yr old and I both loved this book! It’s such a cute little story about all the different things Mommies and daughters do together. The illustrations were so cute, and perfect for this age range. I noticed the description said it will be a flap book, which my kids LOVE- I will definitely be buying this one when it comes out!

The reason I like this "mommy and me" book better than a lot of the others i have is because it features different animals! my kids LOVE pointing out all the animals and telling me about them so not only does this book give a cute story, but also extremely cute illustrations of different animals. I especially liked the mice!

I'll probably buy this book when we are at the bookstore and when it comes out!

My Mommy and Me is a cute book for a little one to read with Mommy. It goes through a bunch of activities (some gender-specific like shopping) and compares the things Mommy likes to do with the things the young child likes to do.
This would be very cute to read with a toddler and be able to ask the baby you're reading with if they love those activities too (snuggling, going to the beach, etc.)
I'd recommend this book for parents with little ones (12-24 months).

This is a very colourful book with cheerful characters. Cute Baby Animals (male and female) think about all the things they like doing with their Moms: hide-and-seek, snuggling, gardening, shopping for shoes, going to the beach and reading a story. The colours are vibrant and convey the feeling of joy and happiness of being together with your loved ones. At this age, emotional development is extremely important.
My little boy adores the book - listening to the story, identifying the animals and miming the baby animal actions .
