Great story, love when love interests from the past reappear as you never know what will happen. Really enjoyed reading and would like to see what happens next.

I'm a sucker for enemies-to-lovers so this is one of my most anticipated reads of 2019 so far. This brief preview has me hooked and I'm even more excited for the release date to get here so I can continue reading!

Thank you to netgalley for providing an extended preview of this book.

I thought I'd take a stab at this title even though my previous attempts at Hunting's books were not rousing successes. This one is the same unfortunately, and I am not inclined to finish reading the book upon publication.

I'm always up for a good hate-to-love/enemies-to-lovers story and based on the preview, that's where Meet Cute is headed. Kailyn runs into Daxton Hughes, an old law school nemesis, who she crushed on big time when he was a teen heartthrob. Now both practicing attorneys, Daxton enlists her help with a family matter. Similar vibes to Katie Heaney and Arianna Rebolini's Public Relations, but with more emotional heft than its ice cream shop cover lets on.

Meet Cute was already on my Most Anticipated List for 2019. Can't wait to read the rest.

Addictive ~ Believable ~ Swoon-worthy
tl; dr: Rivals lawyers find connections

Helena Hunting has been like that friend who always brings the best food for the monthly potluck, and then up and shows up with a vegan, gf monstrosity. Her last two books, Good Luck Charm and Pucked Love, bummed me out (see those reviews). I went into this with a little trepidation, as if I might take off the lid to have my stomach turn. Luckily, the old Hunting is back. This book is going to be fantastic. The characters are believable. The story isn't just about boning (not that there is anything wrong with that ;> ) Most importantly, the text sings. This is going to be a winner.

Thanks to NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review, and to Hunting for bringing something delicious.
