A pool of blood, a dead body , a family on vacation, a haunting mystery, Deadly Distractions has all that makes an absorbing thriller.

Unrealistic situations, sophomoric dialogues, and unbelievable characters made this a difficult read. It was clear to me by the references to old technology (telephones, computers, etc.) that the story was written sometime in the late 90s or very early 2000s. This proved to be a distraction at times.
