Adorable ~ Mellow ~ Sweet

tl:dr: Bidding can be the path to love unbidden.

Sweet New Adult/ YA Romance with a multi-ethnic girl, Sarah, and school athlete, Chance, thrown together in service of charity. Many of the tropes are familiar (girl dealing with parent's divorce & connecting due to the charity auction), but I found this short book charming. Mostly, it was because the characters were well-developed, and neither fell into easy stereotypes. This book is ideal for someone looking for a sweet (safe) romance novel with a happy ending. Also, this book is a good reminder of the importance of St. Jude, the benefactor of the fictitious auction. Cutes kids, sweet love, and good charity. All of it is a win.
