Another winner by Hallmark! This lighthearted romance is a fun Summer read. The love story between Paige and Aiden is sweet and innocent. I loved Aiden's character- fun loving, compassionate, hardworking, life of the party! It was nice to read this happily-ever-after novel by Rachel Magee.

I was looking for something light and entertaining to read and this book was the perfect choice. This story is heart-warming and has a classic “Can best friends ever fall in love?” type of storyline. I loved the character of Paige in this book. She’s sweet, funny, caring, and totally certain that all she needs to be perfectly happy is to win Brody back again. Aiden, (who himself is a handsome, charming, and totally nice guy), come up with a plan to make Brody jealous by pretending that he and Paige are a couple. Paige thinks she knows what she needs to be happy, but as their plan progresses, things don’t seem to be as clear to her as before.

The setting of this story made me wish I could be reading this book at the beach. But no matter where you read it, you’ll enjoy this sweet and clean story. I’ll be watching for other books by this author.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher. All opinions are my own.

Plenty of Weddings
Rachel Magee's romance novel "Beach Wedding Weekend" was published by Hallmark Publishing. The novel starts in Hilltop in Hill country in Texas. Paige Westmoreland, a hopeless romantic, is a wedding planner who hopes that the current wedding is "the perfect wedding". Aidan Pierce, one of the guests, makes it just in time, but she did not plan that Brody Paxton, her ex-boyfriend, shows up as well and brings Sasha Kane, an actress, with him. Cold vegetarian meals, bridesmaids dresses in burnt orange color, cake which is tasting like cardboard, ... there are plenty of other things that are going wrong, but most of all Paige is hurt because of Brody's betrayal.
At the next wedding of Paige's friend Georgia with Lane the three-step-goal "Get-Brody-Back" in order that Paige can win Brody back. Aidan, the brother of Ciera, another of Paige's friends, is willing to play Paige's boyfriend since one of the steps is to make Brody jealous. But Paige is also playing Aidan's girlfriend to help him with investors who are at the wedding and who want to buy his restaurant "Cedar Break." It ought to be safe because Aidan "does not do serious relationships." But things do not turn out as planned.
This is the first book by Rachel Magee. I highly recommend it since it I easy to read. It is a clean and wholesome romance story with enjoyable and believable characters. I really liked the advice that Aidan's gram is giving to Paige: "All you have to do is let the beauty within you shine and the rest will fall into place." The book also includes a special Hallmark recipe: BBQ Brisket Tacos with Sunshine Slaw.
The complimentary copy of this book was provided by the publisher through NetGalley free of charge. I was under no obligation to offer a positive review. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Wedding Panner Paige is once again trying to coordinate the perfect wedding for a couple at a Hillside Resort.

Next up Paige will serve as a bridesmaid for friend Georgia and true love Lane. Unwilling to attend the wedding alone after former boyfriend Brody is scheduled to attend with his new flame gorgeous actress Sasha. Paige concocts a plan with her friend’s brother Aiden to implement Operation Get Back Brody as well as offering to help Aiden sell his popular restaurant. At the end of the wedding Paige begins to second guess her plan and wonders if she really wants Brody back. Aiden also wonders...is forever real? Does he want to sell the restaurant. A fun beach romance!

This was my first Rachel Magee book to read and I loved it! I adore best friends to romance relationships. The writing kept me turning the pages. I hope there’s a sequel for the other characters that were introduced.

Thanks to NetGalley for an advanced copy to review. Beach Weekend Wedding published by Hallmark made me feel like I was watching a Hallmark movie! I loved the characters friends pretending to be boyfriend and girlfriend Paige and Aiden with a little splash of a ex Brody. Paige is a wedding planner and I loved the description of the weddings (especially the bride). Loved seeing this story play out and these characters realizing when pretending to be a couple and actually being a couple. Bravo to Rachel Magee for bringing the reader right into this romance.

Paige is a wedding planner who runs into her old flame at one of her weddings. Problem number one is he’s still gorgeous. Problem number two is that she still feels that zing of attraction when they look into each other’s eyes. Problem number three is the biggest one; he’s got a devastatingly beautiful actress on his arm! Hallmark movies are so much fun and this new book will make a great one! Four stars for this wedding planner!

BEACH WEDDING WEEKEND is a lighthearted friends to lovers / fake boyfriend-girlfriend romance with a touch of more serious undertones. I was easily caught up in Paige’s and Aiden’s dilemma and enjoyed watching them figure out what was reality and what was pure fantasy. They both had their own motives for pretending to be a couple for this weekend but sometimes what we wish would happen is the last thing we really need to happen.

My heart broke a bit as Paige came to realize that Brody’s promise of one day was nothing more than a way to leave without hurting her even more. There were no true “bad guys” in this story, only people who had different plans for their life and maybe could have been more clear in their actions. It was a fun adventure watching Paige and Aiden figuring out what those sparks between them really meant.

A cast of characters to enjoy, a solid romance and a very happy eventual ending – what more could a romance lover ask for? If you’re in the mood for a fun summer romance then BEACH WEDDING WEEKEND should be on your radar.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

Everything you want from a Hallmark movie, but more. We all know a book is better than the movie. No idea if this is or will be a movie, but it is a delightful love story. Will the wedding planner get her lost love back? Will she find a new love? What could possibly go wrong when all the wedding plans have been agreed upon and the wedding is happening momentarily? Fun to see the various solutions, realizations, and growth throughout.

Romance at its finest. Best friends, weddings, and a beautiful beach wedding in Florida will give you that wonderful, hopeful, happily ever after feeling you want from a romance. You will just have to guess who the romance will involve. From fake boyfriends to trying to win back old boyfriends and causing a love triangle this book has it all and my favorite line too. "He was nothing like what she thought she wanted but everything she needed, and here, in his arms, she felt like she had finally found home." I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review..

BEACH WEDDING WEEKEND by Rachel Magee warmed my heart and reminded me of why I love romance. Wedding stories are my favorite, and put the wedding on a beach on the Florida panhandle, and I’m swooning! The setting was perfect, with the ocean (baby dolphins!) and the pre-wedding festivities on the beach. I’ve now added visiting Seacrest to my bucket list!

Of course, Paige and Aiden were adorable together, as they played fake boyfriend/girlfriend for a series of business lunches for him, and to make her ex-boyfriend jealous. Paige is a motivated woman, smart and cute as she stumbles through some awkward situations with her ex in the beginning of the story. Aiden is a handsome, successful, commitment-phobe in business and life. She thinks plans are good, but he thinks they stop people from living. I enjoyed their interactions, especially their confusion over what I already knew, that they were going to fall in love with the beautiful backdrop of the Florida beach.

This sweet friends-to-lovers, fake boyfriend romance had me smiling throughout as I swiped through my Kindle, anxious for these two to get their acts together and make it work. A lovely story, highly recommended for romance lovers looking for a calm, heartwarming read.
