An entertaining, lighthearted read that reminds you to take the time to know those you love. Perfect for a night on the couch with a warm cup of cocoa.

From the description I wasn't sure if I'd like this book but I decided to give it a try. I'm so happy I did. I loved, loved, loved this book. Sweet yet hot, emotional and so funny it made me laugh out loud. I highly recommend this book for romance and non-romance readers.

Time of death........... 45%. I was so excited to read this but it didn't live up to my expectations. I've been trying to push through this since the end of July and it's just not working for me. Pretty bummed about it tbh.

The Bromance Book Club focuses on Gavin who must attempt to save his marriage with his wife Thea after a humiliating and upsetting experience in their bedroom. In swoops, the Bromance Book Club, a group of high-profile men who read romance novels to improve their relationships, to save the day. A summary that describes a plot based on a divorce brought on by fake orgasms sounds like it will be a shallow book, but Adams novel is far from that. Gavin and Thea's relationship has much more depth than that. They have bigger issues and have been hiding their feelings from each other. They both have personal issues they must work out separately before they can really come together as a pair. It’s an entirely engrossing relationship. The friendships and family dynamics in the novel are equally as interesting. This book is easy to love and hard to put down.

Nice take on what is usually just about the women's side of things. Sweet characters. Good plot. The title really captures the essence of the book. Not highbrow but not too shallow. .

An engrossing, steamy, and well-written romance! The unique premise for this title pulled me in immediately and I was thrilled that it lived up to the hype! I get apprehensive with overcoming-marriage-troubles romances because it is so easy for those to fall into the borderline controlling/abusive route which is a big no-no for me. I was so relieved to see Adams write a compelling marrieds-romance that did not fall into this trap. The two leads worked through their issues in a believable, respectful way (with well-placed "letting off some steam" moments!) and I had a lot of fun. Will definitely continue this series.

This is a delightful romance romp full of believable and likeable characters and a well-paced plot. I read an excerpt of this book in the Romance Sampler that was on NetGalley a few months ago and I thought the concept was so unique that I just HAD to read it.
I'm so glad I did! I've enjoyed every page of this book and cannot wait for more of the Bromance Book Club. Congratulations on my second 5 star read of the year, Ms Adams!

Gavin Scott messed up royally. He realises that his wife has been faking the big O for the whole of the marriage and when he decides to take issue with that by being an asshole she gets fed up and wants a divorce but Gavin is not ready to give up on their marriage just yet. But how to make Thea see that there’s a chance for happily ever after? Cue music, enter THE BROMANCE CLUB, where men take cues from romance novels to understand their wives better and help them along in their marriage troubles.
I loved loved loved this book!!! There were soo many laugh out loud moments and the bromance was the best!!!! The chemistry between the characters were good and the romance itself was amazing but my favourite bits were when all the guys get together. The banter between them was too good and I cannot wait to see more books in this series (I hope it’s a series and if not I hope it turns into one 🙈) Definitely recommended.

The men in the Bromance Book club use 'bodice rippers' as their marriage guides. After one baseball player's wife wants to leave him, he joins his fellow athletes in using romance books as manuals for how to make a marriage work. This was a fun and quick read. Nice escape!

I really wanted to like this one, I enjoyed the guys and the idea of the bromance book club. But I didn't like how the heroine just blamed him for everything, If there was another one I would give it a chance as I really did enjoy the men and there banter with each.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the advance read, I am voluntarily providing my honest review.

Gavin's marriage is on the rocks. On the biggest night of his major league career he learns that his wife has been faking it. He loses his temper and she asks for a divorce. Gavin's in the middle of a drinking binge when his buddies show up with a solution. They have been secretly reading romance novels to find out what their wives want. All he has to do is read the book, and strategize his way back to love.
Why I started this book: Interesting blurb and Netgalley sent me an Advance Reader's Copy.
Why I finished it: Fun surrounding cast of characters. I'm eager to meet the rest of the Bromance Book Club and learn their back stories.

What a joy! The Bromance Book Club was a fun and lighthearted story that was definitely a fresh take on romance. All alpha men meet and read romance novels to better understand their women. Can you imagine? Just the premise cracked me up and led me to read on.
If you're looking for a light escape that will keep you smiling, this is your best bet!

When I first read the blurb I thought this sounded like an enjoyable read, but I was also a little leery of a romance novel written from a man's pov & its potential to turn terrible. Luckily my fears were completely unfounded, and The Bromance Book Club ended up being even better than I expected! I loved the actual club--I wish there had been a little more of them in there! I felt myself flip-flopping between the characters--I felt Gavin's frustration, but I also felt Thea's reluctance to fall back into his arms. It was a great modern romance with a fully-fleshed storyline. The snippets of the cheesy Courting the Countess included in the text were hilarious! Not only is this a book I'll suggest to other romance fans, but it's definitely one I'll read again.
I received a free ARC from NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for my honest feedback on this title.

I loved this book, I couldn't put it down! There are only a few reasons I didn't give it 5 stars, one being I think why they broke up was a little dramatic, but I guess anything is possible. Second, I feel like there was a story that was beginning, with the twins, especially Ava, and Gavin. I understand there are moments that kids cling to one parent over the other, but it felt like there was something there that never got explored.
I loved the sister bond that Thea and Liv had with each other. Liv's character is everything and I hope we get more from her perspective in the future. I feel a Liv & Mack meet up might be interesting to see.
I was caught off-guard by how steamy this book suddenly became. Obviously, we know what the characters want to happen eventually, but boy did it go from 0-90 in less than a paragraph. :)
I think this is a great book for anyone who wants a cute story and a little bit of steaminess. I'll be looking forward to future books, especially if this becomes a series.

Finally! This book broke me out of my reading slump. Great, original premise and a fun, fresh author voice. Can't wait for the next one in the series.

This was totally adequate. The problems standing between the couple felt realistic and important, while not painting either party as 100% angel or villain, the plot required adult communication, the setting was fun but but but contemporary romance imo is the hardest genre to pull off and this was fine but not spectacular. I liked the conceit but nothing about the Gavin and Thea and their problems impacted me emotionally.

A solid 4.5. The concept of the men's book club worked really well and was absolutely charming. I haven't seen many marriage in trouble romances, so this was a nice change of pace. Can't wait for book 2!

Gavin wants to win back his wife by any means. Therefore, when his teammates adopt him into their bromance book club, he starts reading right away. "The Bromance Book Club" uses romance novels as a guideline for fixing Gavin's relationship. Humor, heartbreak, and heated scenes await you.

This book was not for me. I absolutely loved the beginning and the premise. The men were hilarious and I adored their devotion to the women in their lives and doing whatever it takes to deserve them. However, I had a big problem with the heroine. While it takes two people to make a relationship and blame is rarely 100% one-sided, I had major issues with the fact that she lied to her husband for the entirety of her marriage and he is now solely to blame for the demise of their relationship and now he has to win her back. It made very little sense to me how he's the bad guy and is supposed to mind read her inner thoughts. Wanted to love this book and it makes me sad the conflict was based so much on her lack of communication and desire for her husband to know every nuance of her life and day without her telling him anything. I can't say I won't try the second book in hopes the relationship drama is a bit more understandable. Thank you for this review book even if it didn't work in my favor.

After a lot of really heavy nonfiction in my reading diet, The Bromance Book Club was just the right thing to raise my spirits and warm my heart. I had seen the cover everywhere, including a NetGalley eblast in my inbox, and was so thrilled I took a chance based on a cute cover. The story opens with Gavin and Thea's marriage on the rocks after Gavin finds out that Thea has been...errr... less than honest about how much she has been enjoying her husband. And Gavin reacts extremely poorly when he finds out. So, to save his marriage, his friends invite him into their cabal of men who read romances to help them become better partners to the women in their lives
The Bromance Book Club hinges on the idea that reading romance is a good way to find out what women want. So, they give Gavin a regency romance to give him clues about how to earn his wife's trust and pique her interest.
I loved reading Gavin and his friends talking amongst themselves about how to become better listeners and lovers, and undoing their assumptions about the gendered division of labor - emotional labor and otherwise. And Bromance Book Club struck a really fun balance between poking fun at some of the conventions of a romance novel, while still doing those conventions. If you like the way that Jane the Virgin is both a sendup of a telenovela and a telenovela, you'll love The Bromance Book Club.
