This is the first book I have read from this author. Another Path is Book 1 and 2 of The Soul Prophecies series – a rewrite of Anomaly and Hidden Variables together with Sophia’s notes from her science journal.

The Leto family have unusual gifts. They witness important visions of the future, guided by the dead – and what comes after life. The Letos have been waiting for a couple who are destined to change the world but they have also been hiding a secret from their youngest member, Sophia. Interfering with the future can be dangerous, but when Sophia sees a devastating vision she can’t ignore, she ends up becoming tangled with a murder, a dead woman and her grieving son.

Interesting read. Great characters. Enjoyed the storyline

This was initially a little difficult to get into, but dod prove to be a most rewarding read.
It begins with the musings of one of a mysterious Thirteen - a group of what seem to be some kind of cosmic overlord who have transcended their original status as mere mortsls, though with a strong anti-direct intervention policy.

Either way, they are hoping to nudge key members of humanity into making the right kinds of future deductions, towards a better future. Now, things have started to get critical.

Gifted Sophie Leto comes from a family of seers that have always been somewhat aware of the Thirteen. Her destiny is apparently to meet two more young gifted souls as an undergraduate, Alice and Keir, at which point they will make pivotal discoveries about the world of physics and through the evolved nature of their inner light, will steer humanity into using these new discoveries for the best. However, more and more potential timelines have revealed that Alice will die of cancer before this dream can be realised.

In the meantime, Sophie has her concerns for Avery, a troubled school mate, whose mother was recently murdered. Will she be able to prevent Avery from killing himself before he too can realise his unique contribution to the world?

Sophie is to discover what a delicate matter it can be to intervene in Destiny and why the Thirteen are so cautious to do this......

The future of humanity is starting to darken. Fast-forward a little and Sophie has now met Kier, but since Alice's death, he has elected to give in to his father's demands and is reading Business Studies instead of Physics. Precious knowledge may now end up in the wrong hands and Sophie is now having terrifying visions of a ruined blackened Earth with livid red skies. Yet she knows that Alice is still very much with Kier in spirit.

How can she get this young man on the right track again and avert the end of the world?

The science fiction of this novel sometimes seems to descend into somewhat New Agey visions on what certain left-field physicists are already saying about possible multiverses and the nature of free will. However, this writer has also created engaging characters who capture the imagination in an imperilled world. Excellent novel!

A very interesting, fantastic book. It is all about the gift of foreseeing and destiny change, a bit hard to comprehend at times, but really good nonetheless for everyone who is a bit inclined to read about destiny and future.

The Leto family are able to see visions of the future, guided by the dead and the afterlife. They are waiting for a couple destined to change the world. Interfering with the future can be dangerous, but when Sophia sees a devastating vision she can’t ignore, she ends up becoming tangled with a murder, a dead woman and her grieving son. Sophia will have to decipher her visions in order to help but she may also learn that knowing too much can be just as bad as knowing too little...

I thought this was a fantastic faced past supernatural mystery. I could barely put the book down. I have to be honest, I was expecting to like this as much as I did. I mainly chose it based on the cover, which I thought was really eye catching.

There were aspects of this book that were a bit confusing and at times I needed to double check what was going on. You need to focus in on some parts of this book for it to make complete sense throughout.

I received an Arc of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. My opinions were in no way influenced.

I'm not a huge romance fan, but fortunately there is much more to this story. It's a very imaginative plot with well written characters. I was attracted to the idea that everything is connected in the description, and while this is different than my interpretation of that idea, it is compelling.

I really appreciate the copy for review!!

The Leto’s are able to see visions of the future, guided by the dead and the afterlife. They are waiting for a couple destined to change the world. Sophia sees a vision and becomes tangled in a murder. I really enjoyed this fast paced supernatural mystery and kept reading it every chance I got. I felt the plot was strong and the characters were interesting. It is interesting premise to think of everyone being connected even in death.
There are so many themes twists and turns and when you think you know something changes happen to make you question your rationale. However I felt the book was well planned and despite its complexities I was hooked and stayed up reading it. I would recommend to lovers of Sci-Fi and the Supernatural.

An intricately planned supernatural mystery that left me wanting more in the best way possible. Bits and pieces of it gave off vibes that reminded me of the darker aspects of Kiersten White's novels.

Hidden Variables was the first book that i requested through Netgalley and i liked that book alot. I wanted to read Anomaly - the original story - but i couldn't get a chance. So when i saw Another Path on netgalley i got really excited. I still think that book was telling a unique story. Another Path had a really strong plot and amazing characters. Caitlin Lynagh combined a lot of things together beautifully. I can't wait her next story.

I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This book has an incredibly promising premise. It asks the question "What if everything and everyone is connected, even in death?" If that piqued your interest then you should read this book.

The book is based around the Leto family, who have unusual gifts. If you are a fan of supernatural and mystery books, you will enjoy this read.

There was many twists and turns in this book that will leave you questioning everything you thought you knew. If you are a fan of a fast-paced supernatural mystery, you will enjoy this one.

Despite how fast paced this was and the many themes and plot twists, everything seemed very well planned and intricate. This book will appeal to readers who enjoy Sci-Fi, mysteries, and the supernatural.

Thank you to NetGalley, the author, and the publisher for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
