The summary for this novel promised intrigue, and a sensual romance but the execution was poor. Reed breaks into the wrong apartment and meets Talia, a ballet dancer. She is in danger and he offers for her to stay at his place to keep her safe. Although they argue a bit, their sexual relationship escalates pretty quickly and the rest is pure clichéd scenes. After he has sex with her he distances himself from her saying he was hurt by an ex and can't be with her. Uh... She of course proclaims her love and he eventually comes around. Nothing new here. Disappointing and glad I didn't buy it.

I adored reading about Talia and Reed. These two were polar opposites but yet they made it work.

I don't want to say how many times I reread the part where Reed falls into bed with Talia. Just the thought if this huge man stubbing his toe and crashing down on a bed to find a stranger sleeping there both hit my funny bone but yet also made me cringe. I can't image what I would have done in Talia's place.

Reading about these two navigating living together when they are strangers who happen to be attracted to each other was amazing. The sexual chemistry jumped off the page. Add in the suspense that these two are wrapped up in and it made this book a fun and wild ride.

Having read Wrong Bed, Right Roommate, I was really curious to see what would happen to Talia. After her BFF Jessie and her brother Shawn got together, while she was away in London, she decided to try to find a place of her own. Fortunately the principle ballerina of Talia's ballet suddenly had to leave for an urgent family matter, so Talia not only got the lead role, but also a tiny place of her own.
What she didn't expect, was to have a brooding hot detective falling into her bed (while she was in it!). Reed knew there was trouble when his informant suddenly disappeared. And when he went to check out her place, he stumbled upon a feisty ballerina. And now he is stuck with her, because she can be a target as she looks like his informant and living in her apartment.
So suddenly he has a roommate of his own. A woman he can't have. But who is making him crave for more in his life. Talia wants to have what her BFF Jessie has (but of course not with her brother, yuk!). Reed however, doesn't do forever. So, why bother to get friendly with him? As they both go out of their way to stay away from each other, they still gravitate towards one another. Could this be the right girl? Find out for yourselves in the second part of the Accidental Love series of Rebecca Brooks. Three and a half stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc. And I recommend that you read the first part as well, because I found that one even better than this part.

I found this book enjoyable although it wasn't a 5 star read for me. I loved Reed's grumpy, bald (!) personality and Talia's outgoing, artistic personality. I did find it a bit of a stretch that Talia was going to be a principal ballerina with the NY City Ballet but had no where to live? Reed's career as a DEA agent was believable but Talia stepping into his case, although by accident, was not quite so believable. Although the relationship developed quite quickly it wasn't outrageously unbelievable. Overall, it was a good read!

Reed Bishop is a detective trying to break a drug ring who’s best chance is an informant who’s suddenly dropped off the radar. When he goes to her flat to investigate he discovers Talia sleeping in her bed. He knows that she can’t stay in that flat so as he feels responsible he brings her home which is where the fun begins. Enjoyable

Wrong Bed, Right Girl by Rebecca Brooks a five-star read you would get into bed with. This author is fast becoming someone I would happily pick up when I’m in the mood for cute and funny, with a side of fruity/gripping story. It can be a little far fetched as Talia and Reed are polar opposites, but do you know what, I was in the mood to shelve my brain and just enjoy a fun read and this gave me so much joy. If you want deep and meaningful then move on but if you want funny, with a great meet cute then you need this novel in your life. I honestly can’t wait for the next novel from this author.

This steamy novel is just what I needed!
I really liked that the characters were real and flawed. You can feel that Reed and Talia grow up and become better people. I also enjoyed that they have *real* jobs. Reed is a DEA agent who tries to get a big drug dealer and Talia is a ballet dancer who is asked to be prima ballerina and she doesn't think that she is apt for the job. I recommend this book for sure!

I'll definitely read more books from this author!

A really nice romance where the couple were great together, Talia wore her heart on her sleeve but Reed was very closed off. Circumstances bring these two together and so starts a sweet relationship. Reed is haunted by his past and doesn’t realise what he has until she walks away. Good for her too - she doesn’t pine too much but pulls herself together to do what she wants to do. Thankfully Reed removes his head from his behind and then we get our HEA. Loved Reed’s family and Talia’s friends - what is going on with Rose?

Talia sure can make some great first impressions on people, "...a very, very loud beeping noise and a very, very bad smell. Reed barged out of his bedroom, his pants unzipped and half off his hips, his shirt unbuttoned. He was shouting, the smoke alarm was beeping, and what had once been in the pan was now…black." Reed has to realize his girl has priorities, “no, I mean— eff, you can’t make me cry before I get all this mascara off.” I liked this book, I loved Reed.

This was cute. I enjoyed it. A fun and charming little read for in between heavier books.
Both protagonists were adorable (I loved how smart and spirited Talia was, as opposed to Reed's unintentionally funny grouchiness... and is it weird that I liked the fact that Reed was bald? Not something I get to see often in romance books), there was just enough suspense to carry the rest of the story and give it a purpose, and whew, those graphic scenes were unexpectedly hot.

To be completely honest, I expected this to be a lot better than it actually was. I didn't feel the connection with the characters Talia and Reed and how quickly they fell in love was a joke within itself. With a premise like this, I was ready to be swoon but unfortunately it failed to meet my expectations. Overall it wasn't a bad read, it just could've been a lot better.

I really enjoyed this book. Talia and Reed were both pretty likeable and I was really rooting for them. They both seemed pretty realistic - they made me happy, mad, frustrated, and more. While it had themes that are frequent in contemporary romance novels I still found it pretty unique. This is the second book in the series but it can definitely be read as a stand-alone. I definitely recommend this book for anyone looking for a quick, fun read!

Talia is the principal ballerina with. New York City ballet company. She is talented, outgoing, and no nonsense. She also has a history of having terrible taste in men. Reed is a special agent with the DEA based in New York City. He is smart, dedicated, and keeps all of his emotions bottled up. He has sworn off relationships since his former fiancée told him that he had to choose between her and his career. He chose his job.

They meet because of one of his cases, and they sizzle from the start. Can two people who appear to be polar opposites actually mend up living happily ever after? This book is a must read!

I am not a big fan of ballet. But I really enjoyed, Wrong Bed, Right Girl. All of the drama going on in Talia and Reed's lives was the perfect amount . Reed really sticks his foot in his mouth , I was not sure how he was gonna work his way out of that but he did it spectacularly .

This is the second book and I hope you started from the first one just to get an idea who is who, not that you necessarily need it and wont be lost but you will get a better understanding of the secondary characters. This book is about Talia and her need for a roommate or her own apartment since her best friend Jessie (first book) has now moved in with the love of her life Shawn from first book. Poor Talia thinks that she has found her answers when she finds herself in a rat apartment the size of a postage stamp. Reed (DEA) agent comes thinking he is about to find his informant who has flown the coup and left the apartment to Talia..Reed has Talia move in with him until he is able to catch a dangerous drug dealer and he doesn't want him thinking Talia is his informant, and then the fun begins..
