Laguna by A'gata Green - Book Review

Laguna by A'gata Green is a little different from regular psychological thrillers. I would say, it is more passionate thriller. Anastasia falls head over heels for Alejandro. There is love, passion and craze in their relationship, but there is a lack of commitment from Alejandro. Anastasia waits almost all her life for this but Alejandro keeps coming and going. Talking about the title of the book, Laguna is particularly a ssexual technique that very few men know. There are some scenes in the book the explain this technique in detail but I personally refuse to call this book erotic just because of this title. This book is so much more than erotic. The pain that the female goes through is well described by the author, the wait and the hopelessness made my heart clench.

Laguna is about a woman's love, heartbreak and mending it.

I received a Kindle copy of this book from #NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Laguna is an erotic novel with thriller elements and this did attract me when I read the description.

Although I did feel a bit letdown - I thought the characters and story could have been developed with the help of editing so this does have potential with a bit of guidance.

I still rather enjoyed this and am happy to review

I must say I tried. I couldn’t finish this. I am very disappointed. The description that captured my attention to read this book did not match or come anywhere close. It started with the end “I guess”, then went to the beginning and moved forward. It reads like a history book. It lists facts, dates and events.

I didn’t quite like ‘laguna’... there was no real story here...the book starts with a background from the past and then jumps from one phase to another.. there is no proper connection, just translated awkward words for passionate romance and sex... it is totally a ‘no- go’

I am sorry, but this book is not enjoyable at all.
I cringe pages after pages. No story plot, poor description and event.

I received a Kindle copy of this book from #NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Laguna is a basic erotic novel and it is said to have a psychological thriller element which is one of the things that intrigued me about the book (however I did not see any real signs of that at all), The book was pretty short and I read it in one sitting. I noted a few spelling and grammatical errors throughout the book but it didn't distract from the story to much. However the layout on the kindle really distracted me. it was like one big chapter with pages where the chapters should have been sorted would have huge headers to indicate the next part. I just could not seem to connect to the characters of this story and while there was some back story I feel like it should have went deeper to understand them more. It felt like I just went from sexual experience to new sexual experience every couple of pages with no real story in between. I just felt like there could be so much more to this story and I never found it.
