Now, I do love me a bit of exciting-fantastical-time travelling - science fiction.
And this one hit every...single...button!
The characters have been well thought out and written with such attention to every aspect of their personalities. You really get a feel for who they are. The background detail, scene setting etc... has also been done with great aplomb. With a book like this, you really need to feel drawn into it, engaging with it, to get the best from it. I have to say, the author didn’t miss a beat. Definitely will be recommending it, and I look forward eagerly to the next one in the series. After reading this book, the first one, I feel that the series has the potential to be explosive, a stand out in it’s genre.
Thank you to Netgalley, the author and the publisher for my arc. All thoughts and opinions are entirely my own.

I received a free ARC of this from NetGalley in return for an honest review. This is absolutely fantastic, time travel, a league of time continuum protectors, the modern and the ancient. Well written, the action moves along with good pace. Thoroughly enjoyable, I'll look forward to book two in this series.
