I loved this book.

Deadly Defiance has all of the ingredients you need for a great mystery novel. The well-crafted characters made me feel as if I actually knew them in real life.

Highly recommend.

Have enjoyed all the other works I've read from this author and the saga continues in this one.
We find that Stan has taken on another lawyer and Jodie-his research assistant is now a full fledge lawyer herself.
They each have their own cases and it's interesting to learn the new lingo and to find out how they figure things out for each of their cases.
This one has twists as Stan's wife Rebekka is also undergoing some medical problems that they have no answers for...Like rhythm of the office with the 3 of them.
Can't wait to read the next one. The stories are so real and things that are happening occur in present day situations.

Mystery legal crime readers will relish the progress of this memorable good spirited attorney.. Being a Texan myself this series is spectacularly addicting.. It just doesn't get much better than this !!
