Absolutely Phenomenal...5+Stars
Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on June 25, 2019
This is the story of Luca Vitiello, born to be a monster and eventually to be the Capo of the most "Brutal and Deadliest" Crime Family in the Northeast. He was raised by his merciless, ruthless, father and learned at a young age kill or be killed. Aria, age 15, daughter of the Consigliere of the Chicago Outfit Crime family, would be a "breathtaking beauty" when she came of age. She was promised to be Luca's future wife. This was a page-turner that captured me from the first page. I fell in love with Luca, who was a heartless killer when he needed to be, but very possessive and protective of Aria. It is a fabulous love story that I hated to see end. I highly recommend this book to you.

WOW!! A must read to all Luca fans!!!! I didn’t think I could love Luca any more than I already do but getting to read about his childhood and his thoughts really made me connect more with his character. I loved how we got a couple of new scenes of him and Aria, especially since they are one of my favorite couples. Also, I loved the bond between Matteo and Luca. Yeah we saw it in Bound by Honor but I think this book definitely made me feel it a lot more. Thank you Cora Reilly for letting us have more Luca. Can’t wait for the next book!

****5 Luca Stars****
When I first read Bound by Honor I always wonder what Luca was truly thinking and after reading this it was nothing of what I thought. We also get so much insight on Luca childhood years. Luca father controlled his son with an iron fist. In this book we read how Luca became the ruthless, brutal Capo of the New York Famiglia and how his arranged marriage became more.

I was really excited to get my hands on this book and Cora Reilly didn’t disappoint. I love a good mafia storyline and Luca was engaging from start to finish. I don’t know whether Luca or Aria surprised me more. Luca was raised under an iron first and was forced to grow up way too fast. The things he was forced to endure at such a young age was unimaginable. He definitely didn’t expect to feel the way he did about Aria. She’s meek and naive yet she had this inner feistiness that came out as she grew more confident. She was exactly what Luca needed. I look forward to reading more of the Blood Mafia Chronicles!

Who else is freaking out about Cora Reilly releasing Luca Vitiello own book? 'Cause I know I was. How couldn't you be? It's Luca Vitiello. C'mon.
I have been dreaming about Luca Vitiello POV ever since the beginning. And now, we get it. And it does not disappointed at all. Luca Vitiello is better than before. And we get to read all about it. Let's start with Luca persona.
Luca is his own person that no one can complete at all. There is no comparison at all. Like who can complete. I absolutely love him so much. He is such an Alpha men that every men needs to piss off. And they certainly do when they mess with his women and they get to meet the "Vice". He has an aura that no one prepare for that it is not surprising for Aria to fall in with him. Like I would too. There is no protest from me at all.
But Luca is fighting with himself because he wants be better than his father. It is going to be challenging for him because the mafia is dangerous force. But I know that Luca can do it. He has Aria with him that will support him.
I will not spoil anything else. Definitely pick up a copy because you are going to fall in love with Luca again. There is no denying it at all.
5 Stars

5 Explosive Stars!!

I was hooked from the first chapter. I couldn’t get enough of Aria and Luca, their chemistry was off the charts, and the entire story felt as if I was watching a movie on 3D. This was an entertaining read with a cast of believable and likeable characters, regardless of how bloody ruthless they were.

A great plot, and a storyline beautifully well-crafted that kept me turning the pages, and at the edge of my seat until the very end. Luca Vitiello is a man of mystery, dangerous, deadly, and so much more.

Told from Luca’s POV, this book is everything; emotional, angsty, sad, bloody, hopeful, heart wrenching, passionate, poignant, and captivating. Is just brilliant!!

I received a complimentary copy from the author via NetGalley for an honest review!

This is the prequel of the Born in Blood Mafia Chronicles. This story is Bound By Honor from Luca's point of view. I haven't read Bound by Honor. Luca Vitiello's story is a mafia romance beautifully and darkly written. I loved it! Luca is dark, alpha, ruthless, brutal, and totally handsome! I love him! Aria is also a beautiful character. They share an instant attraction/love, and a sizzling chemistry. The story is fast-paced, intense, and sexy. The secondary characters are also interesting. Now, I want more books written by Cora Reilly! I highly recommend it. If you like dark mafia romance, you will love this one. This story is amazingly dark.

“Cora did it again! A sexy, suspenseful and romantic story with a new perspective, a different point of view that kept me trapped until I reached the end. A masterpiece that left me speechless. I devoured Luca's story as air, his story is a must read.”

Cruel people tend to hurt others that's how patterns maintain but sometimes love can break that chain. Cruelty has another side.

As always, Cora's writing ability amazed me. We get to know the insight of Luca with so much detail that you’ll certainly fell for the Capo but the man behind that mask will steal your heart. So intense yet fascinating.

Luca’s backstory ripped my heart, I never expected so much brutality and ruthlessness. He is a victim of his circumstances but certainly an example of decision and judgment. There’s always two options, evolve or repeat. Prepare yourself to be absorbed in the mortal circle of the mafia. Murder, corruption and evilness at its highly.

Cruelty and kindness. Monster and angel. Brutality and innocence. Luca and Aria are a match made in heaven or… perhaps hell?”

I have always loved Luca, so when his story was going to be told from his point of view, I was so very happy! He was even more perfect once I saw things from his side, what his thoughts were, how his emotions played out, the struggles he dealt with internally. I always loved Luca, and after seeing so much as him, it made me understand even more fully why Aria fell for him.

This book allows us behind his veil, but it is so clear this is what Aria saw in him all along. Almost from the beginning, she felt his soul, shone light into his dark, and held his heart. This book may be from Luca’s view point, but it also gave insight into Aria. Her actions and reactions. Why she did some of things that she did, because she knew Luca. Her knowing who he was, allowed her to be who she is

This gives a little more backstory, and a few extra scenes that happened off page, but it is Luca and Aria’s love story from the start, and it was just as beautiful and touching this time around, as it was when we saw it from Aria’s side. Love, love, loved it!

***4 "Luca Vitiello is addictive!!!! stars***

...I was gladly the monster everyone feared. Until her. Until Aria...

And that's the honest truth, guys!!!! Luca Vitiello is addictive and you're never going to get bored by seeing him around in the books of this series!!!!
Yes, we have heard his POV again in "Bound by love", but that book was after...
This book was before and during the events of the first book in the series, "Bound by honor"...
I love this man and i loved that i found out more about him...
Nope, his dark side didn't bother me at all... It just made him more human in my eyes!!!

This was Luca's story since he was a child and he had to witness his mother's death!!!
We found out more about him and how he became the most ruthless person in the Famiglia..
He was born to be a Capo, and even though it was his given right, he had to work hard to become the head of the famiglia...
His father was a soulless monster, and he inflicted to Luca and Matteo that love was a weakness..
Luca was dark, dangerous and lethal... He had no feelings, he had no heart... Until her!!!!

"It was still strange to think that she was really mine, that she would be mine until the very end. This wasn't for one night or a few weeks of mindless pleasure. This wasn't no-strings-attached. This was forever, for both of us."

I loved that we saw the effect that Aria had into Luca.. I loved the slowly progress between them to become something more than two people who were forced into a marriage of convenience!!!
What didn't I like???
All these sexual frustration that Luca was having through the book!!! It got me tired a little bit...
But except that, i loved that we saw some other aspects of him and his life and i liked being inside his head!!!!

I'm always loving Cora Reilly's stories and her mafia world... I just can't get enough of this bunch!!!
I'm just sorry, even though extremely grateful, that i couldn't meet the deadline of this ARC, cause i'm having personal issues that were delaying me!!!
Well, i can't wait for the next story!!!!

"As I met Aria’s loving gaze, I knew that she was my greatest victory. Only she brought happiness into days of blood and violence, only she could fill my dark world with light."

Luca Vitiello is the first hero by Cora Reilly that captured my heart when I first read him years ago.

The man. His words. His story. This book is so satisfying. Delving into Luca’s mind, the insight you get behind to his stony, stoic exterior is so enthralling.

There is two sides to every story and Aria got to voice hers in Bound by Honor. There is so much more of an understanding to Luca and what makes him the way he is as we get a glimpse of his childhood in Luca Vitiello.

Cora has tied the two books seamlessly and everything you read in Bound by Honor is magnified in Luca Vitiello. I loved every thought and moment from Luca’s perspective. Aria and Luca’s journey will have you enamoured as you see it through his eyes. Cora has done it again. Bravo! 5 stars and highly recommended.

I've committed the cardinal sin-I have never read anything by Cora Reilly! I've promoted previous books but never got the chance to actually read one. Well, I started my journey with Luca Vitiello, and that was probably a mistake. Luca has ruined me for all other "mafia men". He's a lot of HOLY MOLY with a dash of WOW and a sprinkle of....sigh. It's that whole protect my woman at any cost, including murder, if necessary, vibe he's got going. That intensity of possession is the trait that makes him sexier and more desirable than all the others. I was shocked by his childhood and early teens, and I almost put the book down, but I had a feeling better things were near. I'm glad I kept reading because I loved it in the end. Luca is an intense, dark, brooding slice of beefcake, but he has valid reasons for his harsh behavior. The bond with his brother is a great way to show that he does have a wee tiny bit of softness buried somewhere. He has earned respect, and I like that about him because he's the next Capo. Show them exactly who you are, and they will fear you, as they should. Be a Made Man. Always. Aria could have been more intense than what she was. I almost felt she was feigning innocence and fear at times. After reading the hot Luca story, I'm not sure if I want to read Aria's perspective. Haha! I read Luca Vitiello so quickly! I was sad when it ended, and I would love to continue reading his thoughts. The story is excellent, and I highly recommend for anyone who loves hot, like surface of the sun hot, mafia guys. Don't pass this one up-go, get your copy right now!

It doesn't matter if you have read the Born in Blood Series already or are new to it, this is a book you do not want to miss! I will admit that although this series has been around for a while I hadn't read the first book, BOUND BY HONOR, until this past February and I was hooked I added the entire series to my TBR shelf so when I had the opportunity to receive an ARC of LUCA VITIELLO I jumped on it and I am soooo glad I did.

This story had everything I loved about the first book but from Luca's Point Of View and it included some parts from his childhood that were only mentioned in the first book. HOLY COW! The Passion, The Love of Family, The of a good woman, The Bloodshed, The Passion...oh wait I said that already, well you get it.

Luca and Aria are promised to one another when Aria is just fifteen years old, this will bond the New York Mafia and the Chicago Outfit together and make them even stronger, and Luca and Aria marry when she turns eighteen. I really enjoyed seeing the old Italian traditions come to play through Luca's eyes because I can tell you as a woman how I would feel about them but you would always wonder how a man of this day and age would feel about them as well and I am so glad we got to see that for ourselves.

I am not going to give any spoilers away for those of you that haven't read the series yet but I will say that this has been the best Mafia Romance I have read in a VERY LONG TIME!!!!

Happy Reading!!!

Luca Vitiello is another EPIC read from Cora Reilly! I highly recommend reading this book and the whole series! Utterly addictive!!!

LUCA 😍😍😍

”She was my light, my love…my life.”

It was so satisfying to get more insight into Luca's thoughts. I got reacquainted with Luca's character by getting a sense of his upbringing and how it defined him. I absolutely adore Luca and Aria and getting to experience their relationship again as it developed with a different perspective!

Luca Vitiello by Cora Reilly will join the ranks of the BIBLIO-ARISTOCRACY!!!

When I was reading Bound by Honor long time ago I’ve dreamed about learning Luca's thoughts and my prayers have been finally answered! Cora Reilly gave the voice to her hottest mobster, who makes us fall in love with him again. But this book is not just Luca and Aria’s love story from his point of view. It’s also an insight into his past and informations about the monumental events that have an impact on his character and made him lethal and violent Capo. But the most important thing - Luca Vitiello is the image of his developing feelings towards the innocent Aria Scuderi- a woman who was first his wife and later the love of his life.

Cora Reilly perfectly illustrated every Luca’s thought. I was hooked with every single one sentence that was on the pages of this story and I still crave more. Luca is the type of anti-hero who can’t not be loved. Although he’s a bad guy, we’re still looking for good qualities in him. And his POV gives us many reasons for our worship for his character to grow even more. Because he's so much more than a cruel, violent and merciless monster he was raised to be.

Luca Vitiello is a story that has developed in a ruthless and brutal mafia world. It's blood, sweat, tears and fear. But it’s also a proof that even if you feel unworthy and undeserving, you can still find this one person who will love you unconditionally, no matter what. Just like Luca found Aria. It also shows us that love can make you stronger, not weaker. Their story, though challenging and risky, is one of the most beautiful I have ever read. And this book only strengthened me in this opinion.

Thank you to the author and The Next Step PR for an ARC of this novel.

Oh. My. Goodness.

This book will make headlines.

It’s a retelling of book 1 but in Luca’s POV. This series was already great, but it just became that much better by having this in its repertoire. How have I lived before this book? If Luca wasn’t already everything to you after reading the first book, then he will be now. It gives a fantastic, new insight into Luca and all that occured on his side. In Book 1, we’re privy to Aria: her thoughts, her fear, her growing trust, and eventually love for Luca. Now, we see it all through Luca’s eyes: his dislike, distrust, boredom, possessiveness, protectiveness, trust, and eventually love. He fights for her almost every second of the way, even if she didn’t realize it.

I don’t have one negative thing to say about this read. I loved it from start to end. Unfortunately, the story’s events weren’t shocking or new, as it's a retelling, so I can’t praise it necessarily for its surprising events. Again, I did like seeing the different perspective on it. Now I want to do a reread of the others, specifically the ones about Aria’s sisters.

I believed this series to be done, but the announcement of this one made me squeal in happiness. And to learn that she will be writing another one, about Dante, just makes my day. I want this series to forever go on. Although Dante’s book was my least favorite, I wonder if I was comparing it to book 1 too much at the time and now that I have read the rest I may have a different opinion about it. Regardless, it’ll get a fair reread before the next one.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I loved hearing this story form Luca's POV. It was great to hear this story again. We see a side to Luca that we would never expect and it shows his true love/care for Aria. I also love Matteo, I forgot how funny he is and how loyal he is to Luca. Great read!!

In Luca Vitiello we have Luca's point of view from the book bound by honor and I loved finally getting into the head of this mafioso. The book was great and only made me fall in love again with Luca and Aria. The book begins by showing a little of his childhood and continues showing the events already narrated from the point of view of Aria. I loved to see what made Luca the Capo that he is hj, my heart went by what he spent as a child even knowing that in this world is normal, and absolutely loved him start to fall in love, and balance the caring and protective man that he is with Aria, with the Capo that everyone fears. If you like this series and always wondered what Lucas was going through in his head, this book is for you.

I devour it, it was simply amazing and imagine that still I haven’t read Bound by Honor so I need to read it immediately! I didn’t expect to like it so much but I was hooked and I couldn’t get enough of Aria and Luca!

“I wanted more than that. With Aria, I simply wanted. I wanted all of her, every little thing, not just her body, also her smiles and her closeness and her astonished gasps and breathless moans. I tightened my arm around her.”

I read this one in one sitting, it was fast paced , sexy, intense and hot! Luca and Aria didn’t start very well but in the time this changed and they have an amazing connection and you could feel their love for each other!

Now I’m intrigued and excited to read the rest books!
