I'm not big into devotionals anymore, but I had to check this one out. It's perfect for that new Christian or a busy mom who can't find more than 3 minutes to spend time with God. Ture to CA Miljavac style, it feels like you are sitting in her living room with her, having a cup of coffee, and discussing life and The Word. CA Miljavac gives you a Bible verse to spend a minute meditating on, a minute to read the devotional and think about its application to your life, then a minute to pray to God. Mrs. Miljavac knows what it means to struggle in life, and her devotion truly touches your soul and builds your calling with God in a passionate way. She takes the time to encourage you through these devotions and help to establish your identity in Christ.

This makes a nice quick devotional as a way to start the day with God or close the day. I like that the scripture and devotional are accompanied by a short prayer of relevance to our daily lives.
I received a digital ARC of this book from netgalley and Barbour Books in exchange for my honest review. I was not required to write a positive review and all opinions expressed are my own.

I received this book via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. I really liked the way this book was set up. Each section leads with some bible verses, then an anecdote reflecting on those verses, followed by a simple prayer to help you incorporate those thoughts into your soul. I read it all at once, but I think it would be great for daily scripture study or prayer.

This book is written in true Carolanne Miljavac fashion - just as if she is in the room having an encouraging conversation with you. While this book is not an “in depth” study, it definitely has foundational information that you can dig deeper into if you desire. The title is true: 3 minute devotions. They are the perfect length to fit into morning or evening or even just during the day when you need an encouraging, uplifting word.

Short, sweet and to the point. Great for the mom on the go that needs an unlifting scripture to make it through the day. Sometimes we need a reminder that it is ok to need a little me time and 3 minutes to focus on yourself is doable in our fastpaced lives.

A real and beautiful book for someone who needs a quick pick me up. If you are a woman who is just starting out on her path of faith and want to find a way to connect to Jesus, you will love the down to earth, real language, that each short essay brings with it. Even if you have children, and a thousand obligations as many of us have, you have the time for these little gems!
Heartwarming and real!

These devotionals were even shorter than I anticipated! They are definitely three minutes or less, which is perfect for all us super busy moms out here who struggle to find even that. It was formatted in a cute way and would make a good gift too.

This devotional is for quick pick me ups, not deep bible study. Each devotional has a bible verse, a short reading and a prayer. This book is for anybody who has ever felt like they wasn't "enough". This book would be the perfect gift for anybody going through a hard time in their life. Thank you Barbour Publishing via NetGalley for the ARC copy of this book. All opinions expressed are my own.

This is a pretty good set of devotionals. It is focused on encouraging women to be their best selves. Scripture passages are followed by a short, uplifting essay. Recommended for women who have gone through a tough time and need steady encouragement.
