What would you do if you woke up in a hospital and didnt know who you were or how you got there? Sam Singleton, owner of Singleton Jewelers does just that. He is released into the care of his accountant, Angie Lopez. Only problem, he doesnt remember her or anything. Will he be able to remember the past?

I absolutely loved this story and the characters. I was so drawn to this story and I needed to know what was going to happen. These characters are so realistic you will be rooting for love ❤

AN UNFORGETTABLE CHRISTMAS is a fun, poignant look at what happens when a man really does get a “do-over” when he loses his memory due to an accident – and doesn’t really like the man he’s been told about. Sam may work hard, live a rich life, rich with things, not people but it isn’t until he has to take a good look at the man he was and the man he’s becoming with Angie and her family that he sees any hope of that good life he’d always believed he already had.

Ginny Baird has, once again, combined a strong message within a story that at times will bring you to tears, tears of either laughter or reaction. Angie takes care of Sam after the accident simply because there is no one else in Sam’s life who could. The journey to recovery is full of emotions, laughter, lightheartedness and some serious rethinking of what makes up a good life. Sam and Angie’s attraction is realistic, believable and will have you flipping pages to see what happens. Although for me, the star of this one is little Pepe – he steals scenes and hearts like crazy.

AN UNFORGETTABLE CHRISTMAS is a story that will grab your heart, tug on your emotions and give you every bit of Christmas magic possible as two seemingly opposites find what truly matters in life with each other. I loved this one and would highly recommend it to any reader of Contemporary or Christmas Romance.

An Unforgettable Christmas is the epitome of holiday spirit! Such a charming tale of a widowed mother, trying to do her best for her son, mother and grandmother. When her boss is injured and loses his memory, she takes him in, knowing that he doesn't have anyone else capable of doing so. Angie and Sam start to develop feelings for one another, but there's always the lingering worry that everything will change when he regains his memory. I absolutely adored this book!

Christmas cheer or improved sales - what is more important?
New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Ginny Baird presents "An Unforgettable Christmas. A heartwarming Christmas romance from Hallmark Publishing". The story is indeed heartwarming. Angie Lopez, widowed mother of Pepe lives together with her mother, Elena, and wheelchair-bound grandmother, Alma. She works as a accountant at Sam Singleton's jewelry store in Hopesdale, Virginia, and tries to install Christmas cheer in the store whereas Sam focuses on improving sales. After an accident Sam wakes up in the hospital without memory. Because he has no family Angie takes him in, although reluctantly, in order that he can recuperate at her place. What will happen to Sam? Will he regain his memory? Which consequences will his stay with Angie and her family have for them all?
I highly can recommend the story for readers who want an easy relaxing read with real, believable, and nice characters and prefer a clean story. Furthermore, as other books by Hallmark Publishing, this book contains the recipe for Arroz Con Rollo (Chicken and Rice) as an additional treat.

This is a Hallmark book that was made into a movie that premieres December 19, 2019. This is such a feel good book and I cannot wait to see it made into a movie! We begin this book in the life of a single mother, Angie of a boy in first grade. Angie lives with her mother and great grandmother in a 3 bedroom apartment. Angie is doing the rush out the door with her son to make the bus and then he rush to make it to work at a jewelry store in time. After a long day in the store, Angie attempts to head home, but her forgets her purse in the store. Her boss rushes out to bring it to her in a parking lot that is a sheet of ice. Her boss, Sam slips and smacks his head on the pavement. Angie calls 9-1-1 after she cannot wake him up. She heads to the hospital to make sure that he is ok and when he awakens, he has no idea who she is. Sam has quite the bout of amnesia. Angie brings him home with her and sets him up at her house while he is recovering from his fall. We are then taken through a journey of trying to get Sam's memory back as Angie prepares for Christmas. This book is Ebenezer Scrooge meets Hallmark with an amnesia twist. This is a very heartfelt book and the ending, as all Hallmark books leave you wanting more and with an amazing ending. I look forward to seeing the movie come to life in a few months!

He doesn't remember his past, but could she have a future with him?
Angie is somewhat attracted to her boss but he needs to change. He spends all of his time working and seems to have no friends and his family isn't much in the picture. So when he takes a fall and loses his memory Angie is the one who ends up taking care of him and falling for him in the process.
This is another Hallmark Christmas romance with a sweet story and an equally sweet ending.
This is not my first time reading a Ginny Baird romance although I have only read one other.
I couldn't put it down once I really got into it.
I gave this sweet romance 4.25 of 5.0 stars. The real star of this story was Angie's little boy Pepe. He made the story for me.
I received a complimentary ARC of this book to read. This in no way affected my opinion of this book which I read and reviewed voluntarily.

An Unforgettable Christmas by Ginny Baird is a sweet, clean and charming story that will fill your heart with Christmas spirit.

Angie Lopez is a young widow raising her precocious six-year-old son, Pepe; and they share an apartment with her mother, Elena, and Grandma Lita. Angie's husband and her father were killed in a car accident, so the women support each other.

Angie is an accountant for Sam Singleton at his eponymous jewelry store. Sam is very self-absorbed and a bit of a grouch and, when he falls on the ice and gets amnesia, has no one to care for him. Angie offers to let Sam stay with her family while he recuperates.

Sam may have forgotten his insular present but remembers his happy childhood and the joy of the holiday. He rebuilds his relationship with his father, David, and friend, Ken, and opens his heart to love, life and Angie.

Baird has populated the story with wonderful secondary characters. You will love Elena and her beau, Ernesto, Grandma Lita, George and Pam, and, of course Pepe!

'An Unforgettable Christmas' is the perfect holiday tale! The characters each have depth and real problems that don't in any way detract from their kindness and striving to improve. The book is just filled with heartwarming love that has stayed with me. I will return to it when I think my life is difficult and be comforted by the positive outlook on life and opportunities for second chances that are described. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Angie Lopez is a widow, has moved her family, her son, mother and grandmother to Hope Valley Virginia. She took a position in Sam Singletons jewelry shop as an accountant/sales assistant. Angie juggles work, her son and her mother and grandmother in a small apartment in town and she wants better for them and it’s her dream to move them into a bigger house. But like everything in life, what you plan does not always happen the way you want it to. On a snowy, slippery night Sam is hurrying toward Angie he takes a hard fall and the ice and wakes up in the hospital with no memory of who he is. Angie, being the nurturer that she is, said that she would take Sam home and look after him until he could regain some of his memory. With Christmas just around the corner and it is the season of miracles after all and Sam who was a bit of a workaholic with no social life, finds that the new memories he’s making are changing his life, for the better.

This was a wonderful, warm, loving and fun story about what can happen when life turns upside down and changes your life forever. I loved Sam and Angie, but Pepe stole my heart. He was a little boy who did not remember his father and saw in Sam a friend and father… Along with Angie’s mom and grandmother and Sam’s dad, the story was filled with love and laughter and happy every afters…

Thank you NetGalley and Ginny Baird for allowing me to read and review this wonderful heartwarming Christmas romance.

Sam Singleton keeps people at arms length. He's a successful businessman who is an unashamed workaholic. At least that's the way Angie sees him. He's pleasant enough to work with but his social skills are something to be desired. Angie and Sam have a cordial employer and employee relationship but that all changes when Sam has a accident and suffers from amnesia. With Sam in the shape he's in, Angie agrees to care for him by taking him into her house and spending time with her family as they try to piece together the last 14 years of his life.

Sam may not remember a lot but from what he's discovering, he wasn't a good man. How had he even gotten there in the first place. The Sam he is now is almost a stranger to the Sam of before. The Sam before would never have looked at Angie twice, but the Sam now can't seem to keep his mind off of her. She's so generous by being there for him in his time of need, always ready to help. Not only is he falling for her but he's also falling for the rest of her family, her son Pepe, her mother, and her grandmother.

I'm a huge amnesia-can't-remember-who-you-are stories. I don't know why but I just can't seem to get enough of them. This was a wonderful story full of wonderful characters. This is one of the best original Hallmark books I've read and I wouldn't be opposed to Hallmark Channel adapting this into one of their Countdown to Christmas movies.

This book is appropriate for all ages like all Hallmark content.

Author Ginny Baird has written the most beautiful Christmas story that will touch even the hardest of hearts! Angie Lopez is a young widow with a six year old son to raise. She works as an accountant at Singleton's Jewelers, the small town of Hopedale's jewelry store owned and operated by Sam Singleton, a young and handsome bachelor. Angie has always noticed how handsome Sam is but she has never thought about anything further. After a major sales day, Angie is carefully walking, due to icy and snow covered sidewalks, when Sam notices she left her purse. Running out to catch her, Sam suddenly slips on the ice and hits his head. After being taken to the hospital, Sam cannot remember anything, not even his name. With no one else around to take care of Sam, Angie takes him home to stay with her, Pepe, her son, Elena, her mother and her grandmother, Lita. The time spent with this loving and caring family awakens something in Sam that he has been missing. Under the advice of his doctor, Sam spends time with his father and goes to laces that he used to visit. As time progresses, Sam realizes that the new "Sam" is what he wants to be like from now on. Apparently the old version was uptight and not a fun loving guy. Sam isn't the only one that likes how he is now. Angie has found herself falling in love with him and hoping he keeps his heart open and continues to want to be a fun loving guy that doesn't take life so serious. As Christmas approaches, will Sam get his memory back and give up all of the true feelings that he has found or will the new Sam continue to want what everyone else has, a big happy family? Will Angie get the Christmas she is hoping for? Being the first book I have read from Author Ginny Baird, I was absolutely hooked from the beginning. I look forward to reading more of this authors work!

When her workaholic boss, Sam Singleton temporarily loses his memory in an accident, Angie Lopez invites him into her home to help him recover. They are obviously falling for each other, but will the attraction still be there after Sam gets his memory back? I thoroughly enjoyed this cozy, feel-good holiday romance. It has everything one can expect from a Hallmark Christmas themed story. Likable, realistic characters, heartwarming family relationships, a sweet romance, and a Christmas setting guaranteed to get readers into the holiday spirit. I look forward to reading more books by this author. Thank you to NetGalley and Hallmark Publishing for this ARC. The opinions expressed are my own.

Enjoyed this story! This is a story about Sam a very successful jewelry store owner. Sam has put everything into his store at the expense of his relationships. Angie a single mom works as Sam’s accountant at his jewelry store. When Sam falls on the ice and loses his memory, Angie takes him in to help him recover. Will Sam get his memory back? Can Angie and her young son not get too attached?

I am fascinated by how our memories change our view of life. Without the hardships your heart is open to experience life differently.

Good read!

Ms. Baird writes the most amazing Christmas books. Angie is everything you want in a heroine. She is smart, funny, hard working, a mom and last but not least beautiful. She stays on the positive side of life, even when challenges are thrown her way. Sam is like the grinch. He is never happy, he doesn't have any friends and all he does is work. It is Christmas, a time for miracles. I time for falling in love. It all started with a Christmas wreath with mistletoe.

An Unforgettable Christmas is a new offering by Ginny Baird. Set in the small Virginia town of Hopedale nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, this is a story of loosing oneself in order to find your true self. Sam Singleton has created a very successful business in the heart of the booming small town thanks to hard work, loyal customers, and the tourism brought in by the area ski resorts. Sam was driven. He was driven to the point where his relationship with his dad was tenuous and he had lost all contact with his few friends. In fact, his only socialization was with his customers and his employees.

Angie Lopez works as the accountant and in sales for Singleton’s Jewelry. A young widow with a 6 year old son, Angie lives with her mother and grandmother in an apartment outside of town. They are recovering from the loss of Angie’s husband and father and moving forward as they save to get a house of their own.

After a long Cyber Monday sale day, including unusual vibes from her boss, Angie takes off hurriedly, leaving her purse behind. Sam notices it lying on her desk and hurries to catch Angie before she leaves the parking lot. In doing so, Sam hits black ice, slipping and striking his head on the pavement and losing consciousness. Angie immediately calls 911 and then follows him to the hospital as she doesn’t know who else to call for him. When Sam comes to later that evening, he cannot remember anything—who he is, where he is, nothing! Otherwise he is physically fine, but cannot be discharged without someone to care for him. Angie seems to be elected as the one to assist him.

Angie and her family welcome Sam into their busy, cramped apartment home. With Sam’s memories now confined to about 8 and younger, he finds the kindness of Angie and her family fills a void in his soul. As the days go by, there is a connection between Sam and her family that is undeniable, and his connection with Angie is becoming something even stronger.

This is a lovely holiday story that shows miracles truly happen when one opens themselves to all the possibilities. I truly enjoyed this book and I do recommend it!

An authentic, warm, fuzzy, Christmas story. I LOVE the warm feelings that Hallmark stories produce and this story lived up the expectations. Angie and Sam create a lively chemistry that you can’t help but seek the end result. Throw in an enduring little boy and a somewhat meddling mom, and the humor serves a meddling hook. I couldn’t help but start and finish the story in one sitting. Sam and Angie create an endearing love story that just leaves you rooting for a happy ending. You will not be disappointed by this spicy love story.

One of my favourite things about holiday books, is that there's something of everything. There's the sad ones, the happy ones, the predictable ones...
And then there's the ones like An Unforgettable Christmas, which are just the most perfect kind of comfort reads. As in, the entire book, I just felt as if this was the book equivalent of one of those really fun, family-grade Hallmark movies. And then I finished the book, and realised it was, of course, actually published by Hallmark.
Memory loss is, let's be real about this, no foreign concept in romance. The way Ginny Baird managed to mix it with the slow realisation for Sam of who he actually was, both before his memory loss, and in spite of it...that's what made me want to keep reading. Well, that and the amazing family support Angie, Elena, Lita and Pepe showed, as well as the forgiveness everyone was showing Sam. As I said - the perfect holiday comfort read!

The book blurb combined with the sleek festive cover made me want to read this novel. I liked that the author chose to give Hispanic origins to the lead female character — a refreshing change. Her family is portrayed as endearing, warm and welcoming. It made for lovely scenes. Unfortunately, I found the narrative a bit too slow and lengthy. I often disconnected from the storyline. On top of that, I wasn’t really into the whole boss-employee romance, even though Sam and Angie are nicely written characters and obviously shared true chemistry. Maybe I also had my previous Hallmark read in mind. I was so enthusiastic about it, that it was likely I’d be comparing it with the next one.
