Absolutely amazing. Told with emotion and strength, the entire book tugged at my heart the entire time I was reading!

This is a short story in the Sweetwater Springs series. This is a great story about Lacy and Paris, two people who couldn't be more opposite. When their high school reunion approaches, they each don't want to go, but maybe if they go together, they can make it work.

I truly enjoyed reading it!
It's a feel-good & moving romance.
Lacey, is the town's librarian. With her reunion coming up, remembering
her high school days, has left her
feeling uneasy, & very single.
Paris, a graphic designer, moved to Sweetwater Springs, a year ago.
He's ready for a new beginning, alone.
That is until Lacey & Paris meet.
Another great book in the series!
I loved everything about this Must
Read Story!!

I absolutely loved this sweet story. It was full of good feels.

Lacy Shaw had grown up in Sweetwater Springs. She was now the town's librarian. As a teenager, she had scoliosis and had to wear a back brace and was teased mercilessly about it. Her 10 year class reunion was coming up and she had no desire to return to the scene of her embarrassing teenage years. She would just stay home and avoid the drama.

Paris Montgomery had spent six months in Sweetwater Springs in foster care. It had been his most favorite time anywhere. When the opportunity came for him to return there, he jumped at it. He had his own successful business and had grown into a tattooed, motorcycle-riding, man. He had lived through some horrible years with his ex-felon parents and a cheating spouse resulting in divorce. He wanted to return to the place he had been the happiest. The town librarian had finally convinced him to teach a computer class at the town's library for elderly people needing some basic computer skills. Upon meeting the librarian, he was caught off guard at how beautiful she was and how easily he could make her blush. He didn't want a relationship but if he did, he might just be interested in Lacy Shaw. Would it be worth the risk? Could he possibly have a happy ever after? He wouldn't know unless he was willing to try.

This story was a quick read and a sweet, clean romance about two adults who had had a rough time in their teenage years but still could find the good and who really just wanted to be loved.

I was given an arc copy of this book and I willingly offer my honest review.

This is a short story of Lacy Shaw the librarian in the small town of Sweetwater Springs. Paris Montgomery is hired to teach a computer class for senior citizens. The two people meet and romance is in the air. Paris is concerned about giving Lacy the love she needs. He feels broken due to his past.
You can read the whole story in one sitting. A good little love story.

Annie Rains is an amazing Storyteller! Every single book I read of hers is great! Can't wait for her next book!!

Soooooo cute. I can’t think of another novella like this that worked for me so perfectly. I loved Lacy and Paris, as well as their backstories - fleshed out so well for such a short story! Any normal “complaints” are around the obvious things that happen in short books like these (rushing in and out of the relationship, not as much time to build, etc.). This got me so ready for the next book in Sweetwater Springs! Love this town so much.

I've been a big fan of Annie Rains for a few years now. Her books just keep getting better and better. I absolutely loved the main characters, Paris and Lacey. I also love the town of Sweetwater. This was just a sweet romance with no sex scenes, which was quite refreshing for a change. The only negative and why I gave this 4 star, rather than 5 stars was the last quarter seemed rushed and that this novella, actually deserved to be a full-length novel

This is book 2.5 in the Sweetwater Springs series. An enjoyable novella that is sweet and wonderful. Lacys high school reunion is soon and she plans to skip it since she was the object of ridicule with her back brace. As the librarian in town her friends make her a dating profile to find her a man to take to prom. New in town, Paris Montgomery is roped into giving computer lessons to the town seniors. A great story with lots of returning characters. Can be read as a stand alone. I received a copy of this arc in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Such a sweet lovely story about facing fears and second chances. Readers will love this super sweet romance between a once bullied librarian and a ex-foster child, turned graphic designer. My only complaint is that the story ended.

Sometimes you want to run from things going right so you don't have to be there when they go wrong. Paris feels this way about how his life is going when he returns to Sweetwater Springs and becomes friends with the local librarian, Lacy. Sweetwater Springs is one of the few places he was happy when he was a child and when he returns he can't understand why the people that made him so happy are anything but happy. Lacy helps him to find out what he can do to help them but in return he must help her confront her fears of going to her high school class reunion. In the meantime, they start realizing that opposites do attract and that scares Paris very much.
This is a book in the Sweetwater Springs series but can definitely be enjoyed as a stand alone book. A short and sweet story that will make you fall in love with Sweetwater Springs and want to read even more books about this quaint town. I am grateful to Netgalley and the publishers for the opportunity to enjoy an ARC of this book.

This Sweet water Springs Novella was the perfect way to give me just enough of my favorite town to hold on till the next book! This sweet story of Lacey and Paris was both touching and heartwarming!! I love seeing all the characters i have comed to know popping in the book and blending together. In this case it proves opposits do attrack, and what one looks like on the outside is not always the case inside!! Lacey and Paris must overcome the hurts of their pasts in order to accept the love thats blooming in front of their eyes!! WIll they be able to move on? I adored this novella and it was just perfect as everything Annie writes leaves a happiness only she can bring with her writting!

who doesn't like a story where the shy girl and the guy get together. I really liked the characters and the pace. Good story.

Very sweet story. The old story of opposites attract yet are so alike. Two people who find each other out of unseen loneliness. They both know a lot of people who consider them friends, yet neither are social butterflies.

You see Lacy is the local librarian a sweet shy beauty who has learned to stay to herself. Unless you’re in her domain, the library. Though she is in the Ladies Day Out Group as she puts it “a gaggle of women who regularly get together to hang out and have fun.”

For Lacy, it was a way to get out of her comfort zone (home and library) to get out and do things with other women. In the community. The group was on the night at her house when it’s your turn you pick the activity. She picked reviewing a book she asked them to read. She was excited.

That morning at work, the new computer teacher came to teach the first senior’s class he was not what she was expecting. He looked and acted like a sexy, tattooed, mild-mannered biker. When she finally figures out, he was the guy she begged to teach she was happy she did. Not only was he great for her eyes but wonderful for her ego.

When Paris agreed to take this gig, he never expected the librarian on the other end of the phone line, would be this gorgeous. A woman with eye-stopping curves. He had seen her somewhere just couldn’t remember. He likes she felt an instant connection if the blush on her cheeks means anything. But the eye diversion was something else, a story from her past maybe.

The two quickly become friends that when at the library they seem to float conversations. But, knew he didn’t want or need a relationship in his life. She was too good for an old foster kid like him with no roots. Unlike her who has a town full. Being a foster in her town for six glorious months is what brought him back hopefully to stay.

Yes, a short story of eighty pages. Yet, in these eight pages, you find all you need to come away with to make you feel satisfied. You find all the elements you need for a good love story. I give this: 4 stars. Provided by netgalley.com. Follow us at www.1rad-readerreviews.com

Such a sweet, light read! I really love this town and cast of characters that Annie Rains has written and I cannot wait to visit Sweetwater Springs again this Winter! Honestly, I would have been thrilled if this had been a full length novel, but a novella is always just as enjoyable.

This was such a heartwarming story and I hated that it was so short. I loved the characters of Paris and Lace and want to read more about them. I must start at the first of this series and visit Sweetwater Springs for a longer stay!!
Many thanks to Grand Central Publishing and to NetGalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.

Sweet romance and small town charm come naturally to this delightful writer who pens feel good old-fashioned romances that make you remember the good old days when sexual activity was left to the imagination of the reader. There are plenty of heartwarming characters that will charm you from your head to your toes and I’m looking forward to reading more about the lives of the characters in this feel-good series. I read an early copy of this book through NetGalley and all opinions expressed in my voluntary review are completely my own.

Sweetwater Springs #2.5, Paris moved to Sweetwater Springs looking for a home, he once lived there as a child and was being bounced from different foster homes every couple of months. His foster parents were stern but welcoming and loving it was the only place that felt like home and Paris was looking for that again after his nasty divorce and maybe reconnect with his former foster parents. Lacy was born and raised in Sweetwater Springs and had the worst high school experience. Despite this she still loved her hometown and moved back after college and became the towns librarian. Lacy is determined not to go to her reunion she doesn't want to relive her past but between her family and friends she halfway to changing her mind and if she could claim she was dating someone like Paris then maybe her old classmates might see her differently now. Lacy makes Paris a deal be her date for her reunion and she'll help him connect to the cantankerous old man his foster father became.

Overall, a short and sweet story I very much enjoyed. Both Lacy and Paris deal with past hurts and learn to love each other. They really are good for each other; the tattooed bad boy image Paris puts off riding his motorcycle and the shy bookish Lacy bring out the best in each other. I am glad Paris got his HEA I fell in love with his character from the first book. This can be read as a stand alone told from a third person POV. Annie Rains packs a punch with this novella, humor and romance with plenty of heartfelt emotion.
