If you enjoy a book with non-stop action, full of suspense, and mystery, you’re in for a treat with four riveting stories.
What ties them together is the location Tanner Hollow, and a few characters that appear in each story, even if just a brief part.
When I finished reading, one I quickly got immersed in the next, and the book was finished before I knew it.
For me I loved all of the stories, but the last one reunited me with the St. John family, and wow, I wasn’t expecting it, but it made me happy!
I received this book through the Revell Reads Program, and was not required to give a positive review.

All of your favorite Tanner Hallow novellas in one book, plus a bonus!

Lethal Agenda - I’m thrilled that we finally got the Derek St. John story. While usually wanting so much more, Eason’s newest novella had me feeling like I got just the right amount out of Derek and Claire. This is definite must read for anyone who loves the St. Johns (so, every Eason fan!!)
Lethal Homecoming – I love Nolan and Kallie’s love story! They are my favorite of the original Tanner Hallow novellas, so it was awesome to see them return in Lethal Agenda. This story definitely gets this book off on the right foot. Heart pounding suspense in just a few short pages is a true gift of Lynette’s.
Lethal Conspiracy – Jason and Lilly have a unique story. Lilly looks to have been trying to kill herself in a garage fire, but Jason (a firefighter) comes to her rescue, and believes her story. You might be turned off by this book’s case of “instant love”, but the secrets and questions will keep you guessing… and turning pages!
Lethal Secrets – Eli and Honor have a very sweet story. These characters are more tender than intense, but that doesn’t keep the level of heart pounding suspense from increasing. Independent and scared, Honor doesn’t need anyone’s help, but Eli steps in to offer it anyway, and slowly steals her heart. You will enjoy this book for many reasons, but the characters will stick with you for a long while.

What a great collection! These fast paced, action packed suspense novellas will leave you breathless and glued to the pages. They each had the perfect combination of romance and suspense, and each one left me guessing until the reveal. The first three stories were previously published, but the fourth one is brand new and features Derek St. John from Eason's Blue Justice series. While I enjoyed each one of these novellas a great deal, I do have to say that Derek's was my favorite. I was so happy that he finally got his time in the spotlight.

Lethal Homecoming
This was short, but it packed a big punch. There was a lot of family drama and secrets. A very compelling read.

Lethal Conspiracy
I love a good conspiracy, so with the title Lethal Conspiracy, I was sure to like this story. And I did! There's so much excitement and so many twists and turns. My only complaint is that the relationship seemed to move a little fast, but it is a novella so I guess I shouldn't be too surprised.

Lethal Secrets
This started off a little slower paced than the others, but by the end it really picked up. The kids were adorable and I loved Lady the dog. This ended up being my second favorite of the collection.

Lethal Agenda
This was Derek St. John's story and, gosh, was it good! What can I say about it other than the fact that it was as close to perfect as a novella can get? It's my favorite of the collection, by far. It didn't feel too short, although I wouldn't have minded if it had just kept on going. I loved getting to visit the whole St. John clan again. What a great way to end the series!

All in all, Protecting Tanner Hollow was a can't-put-down thrill ride that I highly recommend to anyone who enjoys romantic suspense.

This is a great collection of novellas by one of my favorite authors. Lynette Eason has a way of ramping up the suspense and action to keep the pages turning. All of the four novellas take place in the small town of Tanner Hollow, North Carolina. In Lethal Homecoming, Kallie Ainsworth returns home for her stepfather's funeral. Kallie left home several years prior because he was abusive to her. On her way, close to her home, someone tries to kill her. Nolan Tanner is a sheriff deputy and a former boyfriend. He tries to keep her safe and find out who is after her. There are several suspects.
In Lethal Conspiracy, Jason Tanner, Nolan's brother, is a firefighter who rescues a young woman inside a car in the garage of a burning house in a town near Tanner Hollow that appears to be a suicide attempt. Lillian Maloney, daughter of a congressman running for the Senate, swears that she is on the run for her life because she witnessed a murder. She did not try to kill herself. Jason believes her and helps her find out what is going on.
In Lethal Secrets, Honor McBride and her five children left their home in Texas to get away from some bad people who are after her to get money owed them by her now dead husband. Eli Murphy is a bank owner and interim minister in Tanner Hollow and helps Honor with a blown out tire as they arrive in town. When it appears that the threatening people have followed Honor and children to Tanner Hollow, Eli takes them in to protect them and help find out who is trying to kill her.
In Lethal Agenda, forensic specialist Claire Montgomery is attacked in her home by someone that threatens to kill her. Help arrives right away as now Sheriff Nolan Tanner and friend Detective Derek St. John (from Blue Justice series) visiting from Columbia, South Carolina hear a quick 911 call from Claire and run the suspect off. Derek is on vacation and able to keep an eye on Claire as everyone pitches in to find out who has it out for Claire.
My only wish was that the individual stories had been full length, longer lasing instead of novellas but still great, quick reads that are highly entertaining and recommended.
I received a complimentary ARC from Revell through NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are mine only.

I am beginning to really enjoy Lynnette Eason. Her thrillers are awesome and this book is no exception!!
This time she has encluded 4 stories in one novel. I enjoyed each one so much that I couldn't put it down until it was finished.
Her style of writing will make you sit on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens in each story and leave you thinking abput it long after it is done
I strongly recommend this book.
My thanks to Netgalley. NO compensations were received. All opinions are my own.

This is my first attempt at doing a review for a book. That being said, I found this book to be exceptionally well written and from the first page kept my attention. The fact is, I prefer a great mystery that doesn't involve a lot of gore in the details. The plots were all easy to follow and I liked the family type setting with a love interest included. My favorite parts of each one is that it somehow involves a Christian point of view!

I highly recommend this wonderful, lightly connected, four book series! In Lethal Homecoming, Kallie Ainsworth left home years ago to escape her abusive stepfather. Now she has returned and Deputy Nolan Tanner needs to know why she left town…and him. When an attempt is made on her life, Nolan comes to her rescue. It seems that someone did not want Kallie returning home. In Lethal Conspiracy, Nolan’s brother, firefighter Jason, arrives to find Lilly Peterson’s house on fire and she is found in her car in the garage with the engine running. Luckily, he is in time and she convinces him that she was not attempting suicide, but that someone is trying to murder her. In Lethal Secrets, Honor McBride has arrived in Tanner Hollow with her five children after her abusive husband died and she was threatened by a man who said her husband owed him money. Eli Marshall, bank owner and part time pastor, knows that someone from her past is still a danger to Honor and is there to protect her and her children. In Lethal Agenda, Claire Montgomery, forensic supervisor, (who we first met in Lethal Conspiracy), returns home to find an intruder in her home and barely escapes with her life. Who would be trying to kill her? Derek St. John, officer and SWAT team member, is vacationing in Tanner Hollow and has always been attracted to Claire. Will he be able to help find out who wants her dead…and why? I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (by paytonpuppy)

Protecting Tanner Hollow is a collection of four novellas by Lynette Eason. Three of them have been previously released in e-book format before while the newest one "Lethal Agenda" is a new addition to the collection. I really enjoyed the first three novellas and how they all feature reoccurring characters in the small town of Tanner Hollow, North Carolina. The plots had plenty of action and quick developing romances that fit well into the novella sphere of space. Getting to know the seven individual characters was nice and comforting. "Lethal Agenda" included Derek St. John, so if readers are familiar with Eason's Code of Justice series than the last name should mean something. He is only child who did not have his story told in that series. While I adore Eason's writings, "Lethal Agenda" seemed to move to quickly for my taste. In the preceding three novellas, the suspense took a while to come to its climactic moment. But in "Lethal Agenda," the story felt like it just started, and Eason threw readers into the climactic moment within pages. The romance felt a little out of place too. As for the unveiling of the villain. I was a little confused. I had to go back and reread the climactic moment a couple of times to fully grasp what happened. Overall, Protecting Tanner Hollow by Lynette Eason is a must-have to add to any fans of Eason library. All but the last one excited me. If readers enjoy Eason's novels, then I say pick this one up too.

"Protecting Tanner Hollow" is a collection of four romantic suspense novellas. The main characters were likable, and I cared about what happened to them. The suspense was created by people trying to kill the heroine. The heroes were kind, caring, supportive, and protective. The heroines didn't do anything stupid to bring on the danger, so it was simply a matter of staying alive long enough to figure out who was attacking them. There was no sex or bad language. Overall, I'd recommend this enjoyable suspense collection.

Protecting Tanner Hollow is a collection of four novellas. Fast-paced and with plenty of romance, these four suspense novellas will have readers as eager to know who the bad guys are as they will be eager for a happy ever after ending.

The first story, Lethal Homecoming, follows Kallie Ainsworth as she returns home after six years away. After her mother remarried, Kallie faced physical and verbal abuse from her harsh step-father and only his death has her brave enough to return. But his death is not an innocent as it seems and before Kallie has even stepped foot inside her family home, someone is trying to kill her. With the help of an old flame, Detective Nolan Tanner vows to keep Kallie safe as they try to find the person behind it all. Simple story, unfortunately, this was my least favourite of the four novellas. So, if you too didn’t enjoy this first one, keep reading, as they all get significantly better.

Lethal Conspiracy
When Jason Tanner pulls a body from a burning house, he didn’t expect to be drawn into a murder cover up. Lillian is on the run from the man she saw kill a woman. But with the evidence hidden and bodies piling up, she knows she needs help to prove the murder happened and that she is not crazy. Jason and Lilly make a great team and when romance blooms during the course of their investigation neither wants to deny its pull. This was a good story. Despite the romance basically being instalove, the suspense is great and has lots of twists, even during the short course of the story.

Lethal Secrets
Honor McBride is on the run form the man who wants to kill her and hold one of her five kids hostage. After the death of her abusive husband, she thought she might finally be free from a life of fear. But now, with limited funds, only a run-down house to her name and five small children to protect, she has little choice but to accept the help offered by the townspeople of Tanner Hollow. Eli stopped to help the Honor with a flat tire. As he comes to know her and her children a little more, he wants to do what he can to protect them. Eli and Honor share a past of hurts. As they face the shadow that looms over them, they forge a romantic bond. I enjoyed the start of their relationship, loved Honor’s five kids and the trust and joy they start to build with Eli. The suspense is also exciting - Honor is hiding a lot of secrets.

Lethal Agenda
Claire Montgomery is a supervisor in the forensic department. Her job keeps her busy - if a little lonely. When Detective Derek St John (readers will know Derek from Eason’s Blue Justice series) visits an old friend, he is on hand to respond to Claire’s call for help when someone attempts to kill her. Derek and Claire reunite as they work to find her would-be killer. This was my favourite of the four stories. Not only because of the familiar faces, but it just has a great blend of suspense and romance, and with the shared history, none of it felt rushed or squeezed into the plot line.

These four novellas are connected by the same setting and cast of characters, with different main characters for each novella. Each novella just kept getting better. If you are looking for a quick read, but something that will still have you on the edge of your seat, Protecting Tanner Hollow is the perfect book for you.

Award-winning author Lynette Eason takes readers on a fast-paced, adrenaline-filled ride through the small town of Tanner Hollow in her latest romantic suspense novella collection, Protecting Tanner Hollow. The first three novellas were previously published as e-books by this author (Lethal Homecoming, Lethal Conspiracy, and Lethal Secrets), so readers will love how these stories come together in this fantastic collection. Since the novellas primarily take place in the town of Tanner Hollow, several of the characters have appearances in multiple stories in the collection, which makes the novellas more enjoyable to read.

The addition of Lethal Agenda, the highly anticipated story of Derek St. John from Lynette Eason’s Blue Justice series, makes this novella collection a must-read for fans of the St. John family. I was thrilled when I found out that Derek St. John would be getting his own story. As a huge fan of the Blue Justice series, I would have preferred for Derek’s story to have been told in a full length novel, but Lethal Agenda does provide an extremely satisfying conclusion to the Blue Justice series.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Revell and was not required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are mine.

I thoroughly enjoy romantic suspense. Lynette Eason is very good at this genre and I was excited when I saw she had this book coming out. Eason gives us four wonderfully suspenseful novellas AND one of them gives us Derek St. John's story! I loved her Blue Justice series and the St. John siblings, so I was very happy to read Derek's story. I recommend this book.

Great set of novellas, each set in the small town of Tanner Hollow. I loved the charming setting with caring characters overcoming past difficulties. Each story was a quick read, with suspense and romance. The characters from all for stories are connected by family, friend or work ties. I loved the tie-in to the St. John family and the Blue Justice series. Recommended!

I was so excited to see a new collection of novellas from Eason. Unfortunately I'd already read the first three when she released them independently, but the fourth was all new and a delight!

The first novella had a great plot and I was impressed with how much suspense she managed in so few pages.

The second novella wasn't my favorite, it the third had kids that tugged at my heartstrings and I loved the love story.

But I truly loved the fourth! It didn't hurt any that she tied in a St. John character for the hero but truly I just loved the romance even if it was pretty fast since it was in a novella. There were tons of opportunities for him to be a hero. I also liked her relationship with the neighbor. We all need more kindness in our lives.

Eason writes fantastic characters and I always enjoy anything I read written by her. These novellas are an excellent peek into her writing style and characters.

I received an advanced copy of this collection through NetGalley. This is my honest review.
