A really well written book about a group of scientists that go to the jungles of the Amazon to investigate and strange occurrence that immediately brings back memories of the first iteration of the Andromeda strain that killed almost an entire village in Arizona before the government finally managed to stop it. A book that keeps you on the edge of your seat as you delve deeper and deeper into the story. I don't usually like science fiction but this was very well written and easy to stretch your imagination to follow the story.
Thank you Netgalley, Michael Crichton, Daniel H. Wilson and HarperCollins Publishers for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

This book was received as an ARC from HarperCollins Publishers - Harper in exchange for an honest review. Opinions and thoughts expressed in this review are completely my own.

Michael Crichton has been widely popular throughout our library ever since all of us discovered that he was the writer of the Jurassic Park books. One thing we love about them and this book especially was how he constructed the imagery throughout the book and our minds got so vivid that it felt like we were a part of the story seeing the Andromeda Evolution ourselves. A thrilling ride that will leave you breathless with edge of your seat excitement that will leave you with shock and awe in the end.

We will consider adding this title to our Adult Fiction collection at the library. That is why we give this book 5 stars.
