ALL FIRED UP (Road to Love #3) by Lori Foster is a new contemporary romance with a suspense element in the Road to Love series. Even though this is the third book in the series, it is easily read as a standalone.

Charlotte Parrish was taken in and unofficially adopted by the Crews family when her mother passed away. The brothers have always treated her like their little sister. She gives as good as she gets while managing their office for them. Charlotte loves her job and the all the Crews, but when it comes to her dream man, she would prefer someone not attracted to danger, but someone she would not have to worry about on the job and wanting to settle down.

On the way home from a job delivering a dog to the shelter, Charlotte’s car gets a flat and leaves her stranded outside the local bar. When a drunken regular starts bothering her, a stranger appears out of the shadows and rescues her.

Mitch Crews has come to town to meet the half brothers he has never known. When he helps the stranded Charlotte, he has no idea his brothers are about to show up. He is immediately drawn to Charlotte’s kindness, sass and vulnerability and he knows she is too good for an ex-con like him.

When Mitch’s past comes looking for him, Charlotte and his new found family are in danger. Mitch will learn he is no longer alone and family fights together.

Charlotte and Mitch are wonderful characters that worked out to be perfect for each other. I do not feel they were exactly opposites, because in the end they really were looking for the same thing for their futures. This is a slow building romance even with the instant attraction. The sex scenes appear towards the end of the book and are explicit, but not gratuitous. Ms. Foster could not have made me happier with Mitch’s dog. I love my pitties and Brute was a great addition to the story.

This romance has a hero who really deserves a HEA, a heroine who is sweet and strong, a family that sticks together even as secrets are revealed and danger stalks them and lovable rescue dogs. I highly recommend this romance even without reading the first two in the series.

Sweet, Sexy & Seductive!!! All Fired up was the best book of the series... Upon meeting Mitch, we also experience him meeting Charlotte and connecting right off the bat. These two make a great team throughout, along with tons of angsty heat with lots of added surprises. One of my favorite parts about Lori's books is the inclusion of 4-legged companions. She doesn't disappoint with the addition of timid, but sweet & lovable Brute.

If you're looking for hot, alpha men with lots of sexiness and loyalty, this is must read!!!

All Fired Up captured my attention on page 1 and held it until the last page of the book. It contains the ideal mix of romance and suspense. When the suspense became too intense for me, I had to put the book down, only to pick it right back up to find out what happened next. I loved the loyalty expressed by the family members in All Fired Up. I became so engrossed in the story that I felt like I was part of the Crews family. You will laugh, bite your nails, and maybe even shed a tear. Another great book by Lori Foster.

Mitch just came out from jail and looking for family. His past wasn't the best and since there was pretty much nothing left for him in his last place hes gone off to seek his brothers. He never expected to find Charlotte and unexpectedly finds out she has a connection to his brothers which he ends up meeting them sooner then expected. Now he's in the position of having a family, but maybe even finding love as well, problem is his past doesn't want to stay is past and its only a matter of times before things get hard.

I loved this book. I loved getting to know Mitch's character he's been through a lot of crap he didn't deserve and just wanted to see what a real family is. He was unsure how things would play out should he meet his family and it could've really been a hit or miss kinda thing since his mother was the side women and there could've been resentment and such. Then there the romance between Mitch and Charlotte, he really does feel like she is too good for him but he deserves a women like her with how understanding and supportive she was, it wasn't something he gotten and it was sweet to see. Then there was the past that was going to try to get into the way of his happiness and it was interesting how everything turned out with that. I kept wondering when something would happen, if it would happen and when. Overall this was a pretty great book I really enjoyed it.

I loved this gripping, suspenseful, and slow burn romance from Lori Foster! Mitch Crews is in town to find a place to call home. What he didn't expect to find was a welcoming family and a feisty, sexy woman named Charlotte Parrish. The sparks flew from the moment he helped her with her car. But he didn't feel worthy of someone so kind, loyal, and caring. He was overwhelmed by the acceptance and fierce support his brothers and their mom showed him. It felt good after the horrible life he ran from. But Charlotte is his champion and she will do what it takes to make him see what a good man he is. Unfortunately, his past is coming for him, and will destroy anyone he cares about, saving him for last. I didn't read the first two books in this series but I easily enjoyed this thrilling, heartfelt story. I did fall for the whole Crews family tho and am definitely going back to read the first two books!

Disclaimer : I received a copy of this book in exchange of an honest review !!

I had mixed feelings about this book. I went into this wanting my perfect guilty pleasure bad boy romance with a girl next door. While the overall story was interesting I felt like it took too much of the time/romance that I wanted to read, see I was expecting more romance, angst and sexy moments and what I got was overwhelmingly protective older brothers of Charlotte and it just wasn't what I wanted ?

That being said it did also take me a couple pages to be immersed in the story, I did however love the inta family Mitch gained and the whole romance (as short as it was for this type of romance book in my opinion).

The drama was great and if you go into this story expecting less romance, more relations (friend, family, etc) and a happy ending that leaves you with a smile on your face this is the story for you !

Lori Foster has been a long time favorite for me. I was excited to read All Fired Up. Just as I suspected, she does not disappoint!

I loved the drama as soon as the story starts. The way Charlotte and Mitch meet is memorable for sure. Mitch has a rocky past and just came out of a situation that changed him. Now he is ready for a new start. Ready to look ahead instead of over his shoulder. He is mysterious and loving. But when it comes to Charlotte, he is a softy! I love their chemistry and the heat that rolls off these two. I could not get enough.

The past rears its ugly head in and Mitch is tested to the extreme. What happens when the past blurs in with the future. Is Charlotte and the rest of the gang ready to take on the monsters that haunt Mitch. I loved the suspense added to the story. All Fired Up is an amazing story and a new favorite!

All Fired Up is book three in the Road for Love series by Ms Foster. In this installment we meet Mitch, a brother no one knew about and see his instant connection with Charlotte, the quasi sister of Brodie and Jack (The older Crews brothers.)

This book is a little bit different than the first two books in the series in that it's much sweeter. Mitch is just as Alpha as his brothers, but his character has an underlying vulnerability that we haven't seen in the series before.

The plot, while similar in the intrigue elements, is also a little different. The core of the story is about Mitch discovering and integrating into the Crews family. I really enjoyed the slight differences in All Fired Up. I enjoyed getting to know Mitch and Charlotte as well as getting to see the older Crews boys again.

This is a well written and entertaining addition to the series and reaffirms Ms Fosters place on my must read list.

Once upon a time I used to read ALL of Lori Foster’s books, but it’s been a while. Actually, I just looked and it’s been over a year and a half, so quite a while, and I wasn’t exactly thrilled the last time.

So I took a little break.

All Fired Up reminded me of just why I read so many of her books. So it looks like I’ll be back for the first two books in this series, Driven to Distraction and Slow Ride. Which I have not read, yet, and the lack of which did not detract from my enjoyment of All Fired Up one little bit.

In other words, feel free to start the series here, because it works as a standalone – not that it doesn’t tease interesting things about the previous two.

There are three story threads in All Fired Up. The first two threads are immediately tied together as the story opens, while the third does its level best – and absolute worst – to cut those first two threads into ribbons.

Mitch Crews comes to town because he wants to go home, even if it’s a home he’s never had with people he’s never met – people who don’t even know he exists. But he’s heard stories about Elliott Crews’ perfect family life with his wife and sons so many times that when he needs to put down roots after five years in prison, he goes to find them.

At least to find his two half-brothers. He can’t imagine that the woman his dad was cheating on will possibly want anything to do with him, a living reminder that her husband cheated on her at pretty much every turn.

But Elliott’s descriptions of his “real” family sounded so much better than Mitch’s childhood in a crime-riddled and poverty-stricken area, left in the neglectful care of his addict mother and her psychopathic dealer/boyfriend.

He wants to be close to his family, even if he’s not sure they are exactly his, or that they will want to have anything to do with him. Nothing surprises him more than their instant acceptance, not just on the part of his two older brothers, but especially the instant love and acceptance from their mother Ros. A woman who should hate him for where he came from but instead loves him as just another one of her boys.

There is one other thing that knocks him for six. His instant attraction to Charlotte Parrish, the Crews brothers’ office manager, assistant, and adopted sister. Brodie and Jack Crews may treat Charlotte like a little sister, but Mitch’s feelings for her are far from brotherly.

Mitch tries to ease his way cautiously into the kind of family that he’s never dreamed of, only to see those dreams come crashing down when the trouble that has trailed him all his life tails him back to his new-found family.

He’s ready to run, sure that they will want to cut their losses and cut him loose – only to discover that he’s theirs and they are his, through thick or thin or any trouble that might come their way.

Escape Rating B: There are, as I said, three threads to this story. One I loved, one I liked, and one didn’t quite work for me. Hence the B rating.

The part of the story that I really enjoyed was the relationship between Mitch and the family that turns out to be his after all. There’s a bit of a fairy tale element to his instant acceptance, but it adds to the joy of the story. The Crews family, with the exception of dear-old-philandering-dad, are all absolute gems. Even dad manages to grow up, at least a bit, by the end of the story – surprising the heck out of absolutely everyone.

But the best parts of this book are the interactions between Mitch and his brothers, and the way that the family accepts him, and the way that he learns to let them – in spite of his own issues and complete lack of experience in the way that a reasonably functional family should function.

That part of the story was particularly strong and it just plain worked.

Mitch’s budding romance with Charlotte had its ups and downs in a number of ways. Charlotte at 25 does seem rather innocent when it comes to men. (Charlotte’s actual awesomeness seems to have been a big part of the previous stories – this may be the one thing I missed by not having read the other books.) The men in their small town don’t seem to be worth the gas it would take for one of her brothers’ Mustangs to drive over them – and Brodie and Jack have done an entirely too excellent job of making sure that no one unworthy touches their little sister.

They think that Mitch “might” be worthy, if he decides to stay, so they don’t so much warn him off as warn him to take it slow and be damn sure of his intentions first. So the romance in this one consists of mostly heated thoughts and longing looks for a good bit of the story. Once they do get there, though, they do burn up the sheets – but it takes longer than normal for them to reach that point.

The psychopath following Mitch, the arsehole who was his mother’s drug dealer and her boyfriend, well, he drove me a bit batty. He’s disgusting slime and when the story switched to his perspective and his actions, let’s just say that it was not a head I wanted to spend any time in whatsoever. Also he seemed to be a cliched villain and, in the end, a bit of a paper tiger. The fear of him turned out to be greater than the reality – or he was just too damn good at picking his victims.

But I loved the way that Mitch, his family and friends took care of that disgusting piece of baggage from his past so that he and Charlotte and their extended family could have a much brighter future!

Thoroughly ADDICTING!!

Lori Foster tells and truly enthralling tale. I was completely hooked right from the very beginning.

This story has so much heart. You absolutely fall for the characters and love there family bonds. A story of love and acceptance. Throw in some romance and suspense and you have one heck of a captivating story.

This is book 3 in the series. I started with book 3 and did NOT feel lost. I just feel like I need to read book 1 and book 2 immediately. I am absolutely loving Lori Foster’s writing. I can’t wait to read more.

ALL FIRED UP is the third instalment in Lori Foster’s contemporary, adult ROAD TO LOVE erotic, romance series. This is twenty-nine year old Mitch Crews, and twenty-five year old Charlotte Parrish’s story line. ALL FIRED UP can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous instalments is revealed where necessary.

Told from several third person perspectives including Charlotte and Mitch ALL FIRED UP follows the building romance between is twenty-nine year old Mitch Crews, and twenty-five year old Charlotte Parrish. Mitch Crews is an ex-con whose been searching for the half-brothers Brodie and Jack, but a woman in trouble gave Mitch the opportunity to save a lady in distress bringing him face to face with the brothers he has never met. Enter Charlotte Parrish, Brodie and Jack’s foster sibling, and the woman with whom Mitch will fall in love. What ensues is the building romance between Mitch and Charlotte, and the potential fall-out when Mitch’s past comes seeking revenge.

Mitch Crews grew up in poverty with an drug addicted mother, whose boyfriend all but destroyed Mitch’s life that landed our hero in prison in an effort to protect the woman who should have protected Mitch Crews. Release from prison gave Mitch the opportunity to find the family he never knew including the woman that called to his heart. Charlotte Parrish was a member of the Crews family, not by blood, but by heart and soul. Working as Jack and Brodie’s office manager, Charlotte finds herself loved and protected by everyone including the brother they never knew.

The relationship between Charlotte and Mitch is one of immediate attraction but Mitch’s past is determined to destroy the people he loves. The death of his mother, and subsequent demolition of their house places Mitch in the crosshairs of a man who believes Mitch owes him his life. Determined to protect Charlotte, Mitch reluctantly allows his brothers to help with what has to be done. Charlotte knows Mitch is the man with whom she wants to spend the rest of her life but first the must take down and stop Mitch’s past from destroying them all. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

We are reintroduced to Mitch’s half-brothers: Brodie and his wife Mary (Driven to Distraction), Jack and his wife Ronnie (Slow Ride); their mother Rosalyn, their father Elliott, and police officer Grant Colvin. The requisite evil has many faces.

ALL FIRED UP is a story of family, friendship, betrayal and revenge; a story of second chances for our story line hero, and a happily ever after for Charlotte and Mitch. The premise is engaging, suspenseful and entertaining; the characters are strong, energetic and protective; the romance is seductive and captivating. ALL FIRED UP is a wonderful and exciting addition to Foster’s ROAD TO LOVE series.

I think the one main thing that stands out in this book is acceptance. Mitch wants to accept help from his new found family, but doesn't know how to trust, or let down his guard. He never expected to find a "real" family that he could learn to care about. He's always been on his own. He has a chance for a life of honesty and integrity, too bad his past has come calling. Charlotte has been an honorary member of the Crews family for years, then one day their all thrown for a surprise when Mitch shows up and announces he's Brodie and Jack's half brother. Charlotte is very shocked, not just about his relation to the family. but at her instant attraction to Mitch. They can't seem to keep their eyes off each other. Can Mitch accept his families offer to help him confront his past, or should he go on his own to deal with the very thing that's threatening his new family? What would you do for love and family? Loved the continuation of the Crew's family story!

All Fired Up is a romance novel that doesn’t dive too deep. If you are looking for a quick read that provides pop and fizzle on a cold Friday night in, this is the book for you. If a fleshed out, slow burn romances where the characters are fully developed is your kind of jam, this may not be the read to pick up.

When Mitch Crews spots a woman with obvious car trouble being hassled by a drunk man outside a bar one night, his protective nature kicks in and he steps up to help. Charlotte Parrish is grateful to the handsome stranger but has little time to chat alone with him before one of her “brothers” shows up to help. Charlotte’s parents died when she was young, Roslyn took her in, and Ros’ sons Jack and Brodie have considered her their “little sister” ever since.
Mitch, new to town, is stunned when confronted with one of two men he’s come to town to meet. You see, Mitch is their half-brother. Someone they know nothing about, the product of one of the many affairs their father had on their mother. To Mitch’s surprise, the entire family accepts him immediately, even with his prison record.
When someone from his past comes to town looking for Mitch, he knows that he has to distance himself from his new family to protect them. The only problem, not a single member, including Charlotte are willing to back off. They’re a family and they’re going to stick together.
I really enjoyed this story, a great mix of romance and suspense to keep you intrigued and reading until the very end. This is the third book in the Road to Love series, but can be read as a standalone without issue (this was my first in the series, and I wasn’t lost at all). With an interesting mix of personalities (I’m personally fond of Ronnie and Brute) and a great plot, this was an easy read. I’m going to have to check out the first two books in the series to see what I missed.
**I received an ARC of this story and this is my honest review.

All Fired Up by Lori Foster is another great read in her Road to Love series. One of the things I love most about Ms. Foster’s books is the sense of family in them- whether related by blood or love, there’s always this lovely feeling of belonging. In All Fired Up we get both- with Charlotte by love, and with Mitch, Brodie and Jack’s newly discovered half-brother, by blood. It was wonderful to see how accepting Ros, Brodie, and Jack were towards Mitch. He had no idea when he decided to seek out his brothers that he would finally have the family he always wanted, the mother he always needed.

I really felt for Mitch- he didn’t have the best upbringing by any stretch of the imagination, and unfortunately he got caught up in a bad situation, which derailed his life for a bit. But even with all that happened, he didn’t let that discourage him from the life he wanted. I admired that about him, he had such strength of character, much like the brothers he was just getting to know.

What I’ve enjoyed about this series is that along with the romance, we get a little mystery and suspense, as well as a bit of danger. When Mitch’s past comes back to haunt him, his brothers are right there beside him, no hesitation on their parts to step in and help.

And speaking of romance, our sweet Charlotte finally found the man she’s been longing for! Both she and Mitch fell fast and hard, almost from the first moment their eyes met. But if two people were meant to be, it was these two.

A terrific story of love and family, All Fired Up was the perfect way to round out the Road to Love series!

This book was so good! Mitch is a good guy with a dark complex background which makes him such a real person. He isn't one dimensional and I appreciated that. Charlotte is such a sweet, feisty, and compassionate woman. She is someone you can't help but admire and root for. The connection between Mitch and Charlotte was immediate but they took their time and the heat between them just continues to build. Their romance is sexy, sweet, hot, beautiful and intense.

Mitch's relationship with his newfound family was amazingly well written. Mitch has been desperately needing family or just anyone to care about him and when he finds this group of people who immediately accept him he doesn't know how to deal with it. It was fascinating watching Mitch come to terms with the open door that his brother's and their mom have left open for him.

All Fired Up is a third book in a series and the other two books follow Mitch's brothers, Brodie and Jack. So the cast of characters in this book are already well fleshed out and I loved all of them. I definitely want to go back and read the previous two books because I want to read more from this amazing family. The way the family loves each other, supports each other, and teases each other makes them one of the most heart warming families I have ever read. I also need to mention how cute the dogs in this book are. Mitch has a dog, Brute, with his own dark background and like Mitch he is slow to warm up. And just like Mitch's brothers, their dogs are there to thaw out Brute and give him companionship.

Charlotte and Mitch’s love story in All Fired Up, book three in the Road to Love series by Lori Foster, was an amazing, wonderful, sweet, and enjoyable tale. Reading this book reminded me why I loved reading books by Lori Foster; as if I am actually watching the story as her words become a movie in my head. Charlotte knew what she wanted in a man and when she accidently met Mitch she knew he was the one. This was before she even had the chance to get to know him. Finding his half brothers was more than Mitch ever thought. Finding love was never something he expected, at least until he meets Charlotte. Charlotte is not only sweet, warmhearted, and sexy, but she sees the real Mitch, not the ex-con. Mitch thought he left his past behind when he moved, but unfortunately, it finds and haunts him; putting his new family and Charlotte in danger. Mitch will risk his life to keep everyone safe. I loved how tender Mitch was as well as a hard worker, deserving of a chance to be loved and to love. Charlotte was the perfect match for him.

Ms. Foster is an amazing storyteller who wrote a wonderful story that is definitely not to be missed. She provided a tale rich with sexual chemistry, amusing banter, and endearing characters giving Charlotte and Mitch a chance at love, happiness, and a future neither expected. I highly recommend All Fired Up to other readers.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Charlotte Parish has always wanted a certain type of man. And then her car breaks down and leaves her stranded, and rescued by a complete stranger. Or to be so attracted to that stranger. She never thought she would want someone like him-but she is finding that he is everything that she needs. Mitch is in town to meet to find the family that he has never known. He has never been looking for love or even thought about it. Charlotte is everything that he never knew he really wanted or needed. But now his past could be coming back to bite him and throw everything he truly wants into jeopardy.

This one is definitely a slow burn but I thoroughly enjoyed it! Mitch and Charlotte have this connection right from the start and they both draw each in ways that you don't really expect. The story drew me in right from the start and I loved that it didn't seem like anything was forced or rushed. The whole book seems to be at the perfect pace. Mitch and Charlotte both have been through things that might bring others down, but they are so strong that they are able to move on and try to make a better life for themselves. And I completely loved that! You don't have to read the first 2 books in order to read this one, everything is perfectly understood even if you haven't read them yet. All in all-a very enjoyable read!!

Mitch Crew has a tortured past. His mother was an addict and her husband was an abusive man. Mitch landed in prison trying to help his mom and now five years later he is out and is looking for his step-brothers. He comes to town hoping to meet his half-brothers but he sure is in for a surprise.
Charlotte Parish has been living with the Crew family since her parents died. She is like a little sister to the Crew boys. She is happy with her life until one night she has car trouble and runs into a handsome stranger.
Mitch and Charlotte have an instant connection and it just grows throughout the story. Mitch not only meets his half-brothers, he is welcomed into the Crew family, the family that Charlotte is also a part of.
This is the third book in the series written by Lori Foster and it’s simply a beautiful story of young love, friendship and family. It can read as a stand-alone book, but after you get a glimpse into the lives of the Crew family you will want to go back to book one and start at the beginning. The author does a brilliant job of teasing you with past stories of the other characters and you just want to know more! I absolutely loved the story and am going back to find book one. Thank you so much to Harlequin, Lori Foster and NetGalley for an advanced copy of the book to read and review.
