Izzy and Renegade/Renny met in quite an unconventional way and their relationship set off full steam ahead. Izzy finds out some things she's not completely happy with though and it takes a lot of work by Renny to earn back her trust and her affections. It isn't just the pair that are having issues though, there are past enemies, family drama and even an unexpected face making drama for the whole club, not just Izzy and Renny.

This was quite a good story and it was pretty fast paced as there was never really a lull in the story. I enjoyed it and am looking forward to the next one. I give Renegade 4 stars.

ahhh my love for MC books has been restored !!

Izzy's closest neighbours are an MC club, which made her home affordable, and in some ways she feels a little safer with them around, after all who wants to cause havoc within an MC's territory Right?
Shes's delighted when one of their members Renny comes to her rescue when she is frantically trying to get to hospital in Las Vegas for the birth of her neice.
Well one thing leads to another and its vegas, and after a drunken night she wakes the next morning married !!! They begin to date, but after over hearing a conversation between Renny and another member, the S**T literally hits the fan and Izzy demands an annulment. Truths and lies come forward along with exciting little twists and turns. GAHH I so wanted Renny to win her back, but Chantal has no hesitation showing us a strong leading female character who doesn't forgive her man easily !!
I loved this couples story, unconventional right from the start!! I also absolutely loved Izzy, she was a strong independent woman, Loved her family and really was just a down to earth normal girl !!! Both strong characters who both had to make compromises and adjustments. The characters are down to earth and realistic !! But i definitely left this book wanting more !!!! Loved it !!

Isabella lives right up the road from the Knights Fury MC but she has little to do with them. She barely sees her neighbors until Renegade pulls up beside her one day after her car breaks down. Her sister went into labor in Las Vegas and Isabella is determined to get there. Renegade offers to take her there since he was on the way with the guys.

Renegade offers to bring her back home once she spent time with her sister and the baby. The crew all hangs out in Vegas where the two realizes that there is a strong attraction. Things progress when they return home but there are secrets that could potentially destroy their newfound romance.

This is definitely MC lite. The club business is far in the background of the story. I didn’t expect a gritty biker romance but I did anticipate a well crafted romance with a strong biker theme present. Instead, I got a strong romance but the bikers are too clean down to the hero. He is clean and neat. He likes to cook. The only indicator that he is in the biker life is that he rides a bike and the author tells us.

There are a few plot holes that seem to not be filled. First, there is a character from the previous book that makes an appearance. It seems like that storyline should have gone somewhere but unfortunately, the author just dropped it and the character magically disappears. Since that story is not closed, readers can only assume that the author will use her at a later book for some trouble.

While this is not my favorite in the series so far and it is a little too light in the biker romance but I still recommend this series. The author introduces plenty of characters so there are more books to come.

Another gem from Chantal Fernando! Renegade is the second installment in the Knights of Fury series and while you don't need to read the first book, Saint, to follow this one, it's definitely worth it and I highly recommend it. But even then you will not be prepared for this story. Renegade assists the club's straight-laced neighbor, Isabella, when her car breaks down and after giving her a lift to Las Vegas to see her sister, shenanigans ensue. What Renegade doesn't know is that Isabella is not a fan of lies, and as soon as the club's secrets start to be unveiled, Isabella has had enough. Renegade won't be deterred, though, and he continues to try and win the heart of the girl who captured his. What I loved most about this book is while it had your standard MC elements, Isabella and Renegade's story and the build-up of their relationship is anything but typical MC. And while the author's biker boys are always alphas, they're the sweetest alphas ever when they need to be. So there's drama, there's action, there's definitely a bit of suspense, but there's also angsty tension and a medium-burn trip toward love. And with lots of single club brothers left to be claimed, I can't wait to see what Ms. Fernando comes up with next for this crew.

RENEGADE is the second instalment in Chantal Fernando’s contemporary, adult KNIGHTS OF FURY MC romance story line focusing on the members of the Knights of Fury MC. This is Jasper ‘Renegade aka Renny’ Steel, and graphic designer Isabella Johnson’s story line. RENEGADE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Told from first person perspective (Isabella) RENEGADE follows the building relationship between Jasper ‘Renegade aka Renny’ Steel, and graphic designer Isabella Johnson. On her way to visit her pregnant sister in Vegas, Isabella Johnson experiences car trouble and finds herself on the back of a motorcycle driven by Knights of Fury MC member Renegade Steel. A wild night of drinking results in a Vegas wedding between Isabella and Renny, a marriage that Isabella quickly wants annulled but upon their return home Renegade begins a slow seduction of the woman with whom he will fall in love, a woman who will soon discover that betrayal comes from many directions. What ensues is the building relationship and romance between Renny and Isabella, and the potential fall-out when secrets and lies all but destroy Isabella’s faith in the man with whom she is falling in love; and a rival MC targets not only the Knights of Fury but the Mayor himself.

Isabella and her sister Ariel have been estranged from their father for several years and Isabella’s relationship with Renny adds fuel to a fire that continues to burn. When Ariel moves in with our story line heroine, Ariel’s past threatens their well-ordered world, a world that now involves the Knights of Fury MC.

The relationship between Isabella and Renny is one of immediate attraction but based upon a lie and circumstance out of Isabella’s control. Renny has struggled to introduce himself to their beautiful new neighbor, an introduction that now involves a Vegas wedding, a potential annulment, and threats against the woman he loves. The $ex scenes are passionate but mostly implied.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful secondary and supporting characters including Saint and Skylar, Temper, Trade, Dee, Chains and Crow; Isabella’s sister Ariel and her ex Merve; as well as their father.

RENEGADE is a story of betrayal, secrets and lies; family, friendship, romance and love. The premise is engaging, entertaining and captivating; the characters are energetic and dynamic; the romance is seductive but predicated on a lie.

Oh this lady just did something so goooooooood.

Renegade just gave me something sweet. A MC romance without a lot of drama or unnecessary bullshit.

Isabella just so happens to live next door to the MC. Surprisingly there isn't all that much drama from them either. Just when life seemed all chipper her car clunks out on her at the WORST possible time and in sweeps her Knight (literally) clad in leather to save the day.

Isabella is the kind of character that I LIVE for. Good to the core!, sharp witted, sweet funny and fair. She's easy to love, easy to relate to and all round enjoyable to read.

Renny is absolutely not at all what I expected. He's so damn fucking sweet. Like legit the best ass kisser ever. But also so take charge manly will the fuck the shit outta you in the BEST ways possible kinda guy to.

I went into renegade not having a clue what to expect and absolutely having my mind shook. I'll tell you right now that this is not your usual drama filled rough ride mc story. Isabella and Renny's relationship starts off real sweet but soon takes a crazy path that just doesn't stop. I love that this story gives us a more character driven perspective. We get to delve deep emotionally and get a real good grip of who they are and what's important to them. It's not all completely smooth sailing for them of course you have some bumps in the road but I really enjoyed how they got through it all. I just loved this story hard!!. I legit smiled to much my cheeks hurt it's that kind of book.

So without giving anything away I'm just going to say ... go get Renegade and enjoy the sweetness of it all.

Isabella has been living next door to the Knights of Fury MC for a while now and hasn't had any issues with them. When her sister goes into labor and she rushes to reach her in Vegas but her car breaks down, she counts herself lucky to have the Knights as neighbors. They offer her a ride and although she misses the birth of her niece, she's there for everything else and she's grateful. She's even more thankful that the Knights seem to be sticking around in Vegas and are giving her a ride back. After a wild night out with the boys, furthering her intense and immediate connection with Renny, they took things up a notch, which led to them discovering just how made for each other they were.

Hot boy next door? ✔
Chemistry? ✔
Drama? ✔
A bit of suspense? ✔

While I wasn't enamored with this story because it didn't meet the marks it kept setting up, I can see many people loving the heck out of it. It was just an 'okay' read for me. Nothing too explosive and it actually was pretty boring. But that's just me. I like madness and mayhem and tons of explicit sexy times and for the suspense to actually have me gripping my kindle super hard in anticipation. That didn't happen here, but I still enjoyed it. If I were to categorize this for anyone, I'd say this was a clean motorcycle club romance, which will appeal to plenty of readers.

Isabelle/Izzy had nothing but bad luck all week. From locking herself out of her house to smashing the screen on her phone. Now her car had died on her just as she is leaving for a road trip. Her mother’s sister told her she was crazy for moving next to a bunch of bikers but her house was such a good price she couldn’t turn it down. It’s kind of been their unspoken rule that the bikers and her live harmoniously but don’t really engage. So Isabella is surprised when a biker stops, gets off his bike and pulls off his helmet. Isabella is going to have to call the last person she wants to borrow a car- her father. The biker says they could fix her car but Isabella said she had to be in Vegas . than the biker said they were heading to Vegas and she could ride with them if she wanted to. Then he said his name was Renny and she said she was Isabella. Renny said he knew who she was, she had helped Skyler when she needed it. Renny said why didn’t she let them return the favor. Then she got a call from her sister Ariel and she was in labor and wanted Isabella there. Than isabella asked Renny when they were leaving. He told her riding his bike would get them there sooner so Isabella said she but new clothes in Vegas. The father-Merve- wants nothing to do with the baby so Isabella’s role is even more important. Isabella’s stomach is in knots, because everything just got real. She's going on a road trip with the Knights of Fury MC. Isabella was freelance graphic designer. Isabella thinks Renny is a cool guy and she finds herself wanting to press her palm against his stubble to see what it feels like. Isabella is a very affectionate touchy- feely person but now is not the time. Isabella spends the week with Ariel and her new niece Mila Isabella. Renny than comes to take her back home but since she never had the Vegas experience so they stay another night. Isabella wakes up hungover and renny is sleeping on the floor of a very nice hotel room. Than Dee knocks on the door and shows them a video where they had gotten married. Even if they didn’t sleep together.
Excellent book I loved it. A great MC romance . I can't wait until the next one in April comes out. I loved renny and Isabella together and how they interacted. I was mad at Renny for initially messing with Isabella's car but then he proves he cared too much to go through with the plan. But I understood why he had done that. I loved the plot and the pace. I read this in one session has been a long time since I read a great MC romance book. I just didn’t want to put this down. I loved the characters and the ins and outs of this book and I highly recommend it.

Renegade is the 2nd book in the Knights of Fury series. As I have said before, Chantal Fernando is one of my favorite MC authors! Renny was such a sweetheart and Isabella and her sisters were a hoot. However, I did feel like there were some plot holes in this book and it seemed to wrap up a little too quickly. Which left me wanting more.

I can't wait to read the next book in the series, which I hope will answer some of my lingering questions.

When given the opportunity and I see this author with one I have not read I will dive in such as this one. I was fortunate enough to have read the first one in this so I was a happy person when I seen this one. In this one little did Isabella know when she took the ride from Renegade what kind of ride it would end up to be. The twists and turns of this one are different kind which leaves the readers in knots of pleasure for the most part. Izzy is the other part it would seem for him so it kept us stuck like wind to the face. Since everyone is different so is this one which makes for more intriguing read for someone like me who reads alot. How to see where this lands is the fun of reading.

Renegade by Chantal Fernando
Knights of Fury MC #2

A tame biker book with a sweet story sees Renny and Izzy eventually moving toward a HEA in the future. Izzy’s car breaks down when she needs to get to her sister in Las Vegas and Renny and three of his buddies from the Knights of Fury MC offer her a ride. Feeling a bit desperate she took Renny up on the offer and headed off to see her sister and help with the birthing of her niece Mila. And thus begins a story that was...interesting.

What I liked:
* Renny, short for Renegade, my, oh my, OH MY...what a splendid many he is! That said...perhaps a bit too clean cut and “nice” to be a biker.
* Izzy the openhearted brash and bold woman that loves is giving and caring but sure can hold a grudge
* The Knights of Fury men – all seem intriguing and worthy of their own stories.
* Shadow – sweet dog with a bite we have yet to see

What I might have liked to see more of:
* a bit more grit and darkness...or at least action scenes
* Where the story is going with the competing Killer MC group and Georgia
* A bit more about life in the clubhouse of the MC

This was a romance set in a MC biker background but really was more of a men’s club for feel than most MC biker books I have read in the past. That said, it was a fine story and I enjoyed reading it though I felt the ending was missing a bit of a letdown even though it did provide the HEA promised by Carina. I look forward to reading the next book in the series...I think.

Thank you to NetGalley and Carina Press for the ARC – This is my honest review.

3-4 Stars

Another really enjoyable read by Chantal. Now unlike many other MC books this book doesn't have all the MC drama throughout the entire book like so many. There are unknown threats and while the MC thinks they know what lies ahead nothing as it seems when reading this book.

I loved Renegade and Izzy. Now Renegade did get on my bad side for a hot minute but he is so sweet, loving and as patient as he can be when it comes to Izzy. Izzy is absolutely hilarious and caring. She has a lot of trust issues and that makes it hard for her to trust although she likes Renegade she isn't about to want to jump into anything serious with him right away.

Lies, secrets, heartbreak, love, sexy times, danger and more are all in store for this group of characters and it will definitely keep your interest for sure. I can't wait for the next in this series!!!

I loved this new book in the Knights of Fury MC Series. Isabella lives next door to the MC house and has had no problems. She needs to get to Vegas cause her sister is having her baby and is alone. Isabella’s car breaks down and Renny pulls up on his motorcycle to help her. He offers her a ride to Vegas while her car gets fixed in their shop. She agrees cause she has no other options and off she goes. She missed the birth but is there to help her sister with the baby and everything. The guys from the MC show up to give her a ride back home and they decide to take her out since she’s never been out in Vegas. She’s drinks a little too much and has a lot of fun with Renny who she likes. She’s out of her element which is normally staying home all the time to work. She wakes up and finds she’s in Rennys shirt and she’s married to him but doesn’t remember how. The guys from MC tell her and Renny how. What are they going to do? She can’t have this, she’s always so controlled. This is a great story with great characters who had me laughing and I enjoy this story a lot.

This is the second of the Knights of Fury MC series and book one, Saint, should be read before hand, as the stuff that happened in that book does come up in Renegade and just makes everything a bit clearer. Renny/Renegade comes to the rescue when Izzy's car breaks down, she has seen him before; she is the neighbor to the clubhouse so of course she has, but this is her first interaction with anyone from the club other than the one time with Skylar. When Renny offers to give her ride to Vegas so that she can be there for the birth of her niece, Izzy is amazed at how nice these guys are and takes them up on the offer. But is it too good to be true? What happens when things in Vegas lead to something more?

This story did not pan out the way I thought it would, in fact this didn't go how I thought it would at all. This isn't a bad thing by any means, just the opposite; Chantal is not getting predictable and that's great! This was very entertaining, with loads of drama, danger, violence, it was low on the naughty bits but that's ok we don't always need them. I give this 4 stars.

This is the second book in the series and I enjoyed it but it didn't set me on fire. Renny and Isabella made a cute couple and had an instant connection that was easy to see. The issue for me is I like my MC stories with a darker dangerous edge and I didn't get that with this one. At times it felt like the story was building to an explosion but it didn't happen. There are still lots of unanswered questions regarding the trouble the MC has so i'm hoping the next book has some more action.

Once again, Chantal Fernando gives us a beautiful story wrapped up in the MC world. This time we get Isabella and Renny and they give us such a stunning and unique run that will keep you on your toes and swoon! And who says what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas?!?! I think what I love about this story is we get the ups and downs of the two trying to figure out where they are going with this plus the drama from the MC world. You get some intrigue but also some really romantic moments. The connection that these two have is sizzling. The flow of the story amazing. The concept with unique twists in it! I read it in one sitting because I could not put it down! If you are a Fernando fan, this book will suck you in!

This is the second book of the series and like the first one I just couldn’t put it down!! Isabella lives next-door to the Knights and pretty much keeps to her self but they have taken notice of her especially Renny. Izzy is a bad a$$ chick with a booming career and loved her family, well her sister and new niece. Renny will do anything for his club and brothers but when it comes to deceiving Izzy he has second thoughts that the plan was already set in motion. Will Izzy be able to forgive Renny after she knows how deep his deception went? I can’t wait for the next installment of the series!!! I highly recommend this book!

Renegade was a character that surprised me. He was quite aloof when he made appearances in SAINT so getting to know him was an unexpected treat. He didn’t turn out to be like the “typical biker”. Sure he was a total sexy badass, but on a deeper level he was a romantic.

Isabelle was everything you’d expect in a heroine. She was strong and independent and easily blended in with the MC. Having lived next door to the clubhouse she’s purposely kept her distance but when she needs a favor, the brothers step in to help her which takes her life in a whole different direction. Her and Renny’s story is nothing like your typical MC romance; which a LOVED.

Their story has a few twists, some suspense and a bit of mystery but for the most part it is primarily character driven.

I’m totally loving this series!
