A little slow at the start but it really picked up speed about 4 chapters in. Very good book from there on out. Definitely a must read.

I've loved this series and Chance and Cassidy were great.

This storyline was captivating with tension and drama and a monster of a man in Cassidy's past.

Both Chance and Cassidy live with physical and mental scars and share a devastating past. It felt like two kindred souls found one another, needed one another, deserved on another.

Great read! Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed the others in the series and this one was just as good. Both Chance and Cassidy had a lot to overcome and had been through a lot. Chance was injured in the war and Cassidy lived a youth of pain. When these two came together there was a connection. They worked together and dismissed their demons, they were great together and there was a lovely epilogue.

Thanks to NetGalley for the copy.

Penny Dee has become one of my top five favorite authors and i thank NetGalley for the digital ARC. I have waited for the final book to this series and i read it one day. The perfect ending to this series. I love all these characters but I love how each one finds their own queen and treats them as such. I would recommend Penny Dee to any reader

This was a decent read, it fell right in line with the other books in the series, which I've enjoyed. It was emotional in parts, a bit over the top in others, but all in all a solid read. Chance's story was complex and captivating, Cassidy had her own demons and together they are a disaster in the making yet they work. It was sexy, full of drama. I liked it a lot.

**4.5 Stars**

Hell on Wheels is the 4th book in the King of Mayhem MC series and is about Chance, who is a former SEAL, and now SAA for the MC. He has a chance encounter with Cassidy, who has some secrets in her past that she is running from. When she finds herself in danger, Chase steps in to help keep her safe and their friendship blossoms into more.

Hell on Wheels is probably my favorite book in the series so far. I really enjoyed both Chase and Cassidy as characters and felt like they were both well developed characters and they had great chemistry together. I enjoy the author's writing style and really enjoyed Chase and Cassidy's HEA!

Chance and Cassidy could have been a broken mess because of the childhood they each had. Instead it makes them stronger. I love a HEA. This one made me smile.

Chance is severely injured during his time in the service as a Navy Seal and nothing is the same when he finally comes home after months of rehab. He's still in the Kings of Mayhem MC but he can't relate to anyone even his brothers. When he meets Cassidy he finally feels something and vows to protect her since she is on the run from a psychotic family member. If you like gritty erotic MC romance, you'll enjoy Hell on Wheels!

HELL ON WHEELS is the fourth instalment in Penny Dee’s contemporary, adult KINGS OF MAYHEM MC erotic, romance series focusing on the members of the Kings of Mayhem MC. This is Sargent at Arms and former Navy SEAL Chance Calley, and musician/waitress Cassidy aka Chelsea Silvermane’s story line. HELL ON WHEELS can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous instalments is revealed where necessary.

NOTE: Due to the story line content, there may be some triggers for more sensitive readers.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Chance and Cassidy) HELL ON WHEELS follows Cassidy, a young woman on the run from her past, a past that is about to catch up and destroy. When the band scheduled to play at the Kings of Mayhem MC patching in ceremony cancels at the last minute, Sargent at Arms Chance Calley finds a replacement with a beautiful street busker he knows only as Cassidy, a woman about to run for places unknown. With her past just a few steps behind, Cassidy makes enough money to head for the hills but betrayal comes at a cost. Panicked and afraid for her life, Cassidy will, once again, come face to face with Chance Calley, the man who is about to change her life. What ensues is the building relationship between Chance and Cassidy, and the potential fall-out as Cassidy’s past demands all, and so much more.

Chance Calley is a former US Navy SEAL who has suffered greatly when his last deployment went all to h*ll. Scarred, both inside and out, Chance doesn’t do relationships as he is unable to get past what happened and why, but something about Cassidy stirs our hero’s frozen heart. Cassidy has seen monsters and Chance isn’t even close to her list but the monsters from her past are closing in, and will take everyone down to get what they want.

The relationship between Cassidy and Chance is one of immediate attraction but neither one is in a place for a permanent relationship. Having to always look over her shoulder, Cassidy is unable to settle down without fear of being found but meeting Chance Calley finds our heroine hoping for a future, a future that includes a happily ever after. The $ex scenes are intimate, passionate and intense without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

The secondary and supporting characters include Cade and Indy (Kings of Mayhem #1 & Brothers in Arms #2), Caleb and Honey (Biker Baby #3), as well as club president Michael ‘Bull’ Western, and members Vader, Joker, Animal, and Hawke, as well as Granny Sybil Calley. We are introduced to Cassidy’s friend and roommate Missy, and Missy’s brother Craig. The requisite evil has many faces.

HELL ON WHEELS is a story of family, vengeance, betrayal, madness and love; a story of retribution, fear, trust and acceptance. The premise is emotional, intense and engaging; the characters are energetic, broken and colorful; the romance is steamy and hot. HELL ON WHEELS is a gritty, spicy and edgy look at love in the world of the Kings of Mayhem MC.
