An interesting collection of short tales about quirky men, each with his own foibles and habits. I wouldn't call them short stories, more like glimpses into stories but enjoyable nonetheless. I'd definitely read more from this author.

A strong mix of stories -- some funny, some serious, some "thinkers". Recommended for literary anthology fans. Minett is a talented writer, and I look forward to reading some of her other work.
