This book is a quick rundown of how to make your side hustle something that's actually lucrative for you. There is a chapter that offers suggestions on how to start a side hustle from scratch, but most of the book would be more helpful if you already have a gig and just want to monetize it or make more money from it.

There were definitely some helpful points here (especially about how to find a niche market or how to identify problems with your hustle). However, there were many parts that felt super repetitive. Within that same vein, at the end of each chapter is a recap of what you just read in the previous pages. For me, that felt totally unnecessary and a bit annoying.

I think this book would be helpful for a younger person or someone who has pretty little experience with earning money. There wasn't really anything I took away from it that I'm going to rush to implement but not a bad idea to brush up on this topic.

Thankfully, the author is upfront about how some side hustles take a lot more time to see a return on your investment. There is no make a website and get rich quick path that succeeds.

If you are considering starting a side hustle (or don't know where to start to even consider doing so), then this book can be helpful. It has a very encouraging tone, and has good ideas of where to start.

There are many books written on side-hustling and this is not the best one but it is also far from the worst one.
It provides guidance as to the types to side-hustles you can consider, the pros and the cons, the dos and the don'ts, financial tips and some recommendations as to how to grow, go full-time and even sell your business.

That being said, if you have read other books on the topic, you will have seen many of the explanations and suggestions before. That doesn't make it a bad book, it just leaves you a little disappointed. If this is your first book on the topic, however, you will be inspired to go for it, sending you looking for the niche where you can make your impact and provide you with the opportunity to earn a little extra in your sparetime.

This book was really fun to read and definitely put my thoughts in order about how I'm going to go about creating my own side hustle.

Some good basic information. The author gave just enough detail to make it interesting. There is a lot to cover here and he covered everything but it would have been nice to have more detail.

I was genuinely surprised that I enjoyed and learned through this book as much as I did. There are so many articles out there about how to up your hustle game or how to break into a new side hustle but they're mostly full of the same ideas, or they only apply to such limited niches that I've never seen or understood how I would fit into them. This book had some new things I hadn't thought about though, I think the author did a good job in really engaging with the topic creatively. Some of this was old hat, but it's supposed to teach someone the basics, so that's to be expected. I was pleasantly surprised to find out there was more for readers in this one.

I found this book very easy to read, amusing with content, no technical background needed. Some things are really obvious but I have also found new and interesting information for me. The book is good for all who want to open a business being busy with a full time job. Thanks to author, it is very motivational and inspiring!

This concise, focused, easy to read book will have you jotting down ideas and maybe even surprised about how many opportunities are available out there listed and described in this book.
It seems that side hustles are mandatory these days with the current social standings, I felt that reading this book gave me an advantage to get a head start into the game.
I would recommend this read and to keep for reference!

This is a great book for someone looking to start a side hustle. I was looking more for more advice on expanding my side hustle to something more, which is briefly mentioned, but a lot of the things included in this book are things that someone like me who is already immersed in a side hustle would already know. I did think it was good information, just not a book that I need right now

I will be honest. I doubted I would learn anything new from this book. When you Google "side hustle," you get many results, but most are the same ideas recycled over and over again. Some of those ideas are repeated in this book, but there are some new ones I had never heard of, also. As I was reading, I was half-way through the book thinking “I have no special skills so have no idea what side hustle I could market” which was the same frustration I had Googling it in the past. Keep reading. There are some options that everyone can put into practice. I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley and the publisher, so don’t know what it will retail at, but it was worth the read.

In itself, this is a very good book on "side hustle" in general. Unfortunately, there are loads of almost equally good books on the subject, so it's hard to stand out. At least this book is very up-to-date on Amazon, and there is a somewhat original take on publishing.

This short but focused book is a great introduction to the world of starting a side business - which may well become your main business!
By leveraging the energy of your passion for your hobby or interest you can keep going in the tough times when life gets in the way. That energy does mean that you can commit to over-delivering to your ideal customer, no matter how small or how large your niche may be. It also makes marketing a lot easier.
Chapter 3 includes a long list of potential niche topics from pet-sitting to voice acting, freelance transcription services to crochet, retail arbitrage to self-publishing online [ which is covered in more detail in chapter 6.]
The author does make it clear that any new business venture requires investment, including your time, start-up costs, energy and creativity but the potential is real.

This is a very light read - light on definite actions, and light on details too. While the author may have had success in publishing and arbitrage, some of the suggestions here appear to have been generated over coffee with his Mum, rather than with any genuine thought.
If you do read this book, count how many times the author uses the word 'ton' - spoiler alert; it is....lots.
