But justice never comes cheap. Will doing the right thing cost Sophie and Caleb their reputations? Or their lives?

I really enjoyed OFF THE Grid. The story flowed well, with likeable well-rounded characters, and the perfect blend of suspense and romance. I highly recommend it.

Great read. The author wrote a story that was interesting and moved at a pace that kept me engaged. The characters were easy to invest in.

This was a fast moving story with a satisfying ending. I felt so badly for Kellie, trapped in an impossible situation with only drug addicted and mentally ill Marnie to help her through. Sophie's relationship with Marnie was heartbreaking, and although Sophie's connection with Caleb seemed really quick, it was gratifying to watch them come together.

I had not read anything by this author, but I really enjoyed this book. Dr. Sophie Monroe practices in the inner city and one night delivers a young teens baby. She is aided in the delivery by Caleb Quinn, one of Canada’s top attorneys. He arrived at her clinic when she unexpectedly cancelled their plans for the evening, but he definitely wasn’t planning on helping her with the delivery of a baby. When he learns that the baby may have been fathered by an acquaintance of his, a very influential man, he knows that he, Sophie and the young mother are in for a fight. There are several unexpected twists to this story of a man and woman fighting against money and power to do what is right for the baby. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (by paytonpuppy)

A page turner. Interesting romance. Sibling issues. Past and present crimes against women. I skipped over the intimate details, but enjoyed their blossoming relationship.
