This novel was a very enjoyable read. I was intrigued by the summary and was impressed by the novel. The novel flows rather quickly. Tessa is known as Scorpion. She is good with knives, caring, and determined. She steals to help those who have nothing. However, Tessa gets betrayed and sacrifices herself to save someone she loves. She gets thrown into prison and meets Pike. Pike knows her as Scorpion, and they develop a friendship of sorts, both wanting to escape the prison and seek revenge. Pike helps Tessa survive the prison and they plot to escape and take revenge on those who ruined their lives. Pike knows the reason why the city is darksiders are suffering by the enforcers. Everyone has an agenda, but those plans can change when truths come into play. Join Tessa and Pike and their friends as they plan their revenge and help the people whom have been wronged.
