I found this to be a very useful book, as I have been visiting Norfolk to do family history research. Informative and interesting.

Certainly some interesting stuff in here and some nice ideas for walks. I must admit I found the order of the book a bit odd and could have been set out clearer. I would have liked more of the history and less if the tourist tips.

This is a lovely book with very interesting anecdotes and facts about different places around Norfolk. I myself used to live in Downham Market and loved learning about the area. Very well done.

I have lived in Norwich for the last 5 years and really appreciated the insight into the little known anecdotes from the county's history. Even some of our local tour guides are unaware of some of the fascinating facts described in the book. The authors have thoughtfully used many fascinating illustrations to further depict places and events.
Even though I really enjoyed the Kindle version, I believe that a paper format would have improved the illustrations and the ability to quickly scour the book. This is not a criticism of the book and I intend buying a paper version to keep in the car.
The stories have inspired me to visit Norfolk places that I was previously unaware of.
Congratulations to the authors on the absorbing detailed research.

It was an interesting and informative read. I never visited Norfolk and this book helped me to understand what to see and learn about their story.
An excellent and useful read, highly recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.

I really enjoyed this book and found that even though I have visited the county many times there was still plenty that I found to be new to me and I have a lot on my list now of places to visit in the area – it is a really handy guide.

I did like that the authors have added images that they have taken too so this gives it a more personal feel than having stock images.

I enjoyed the way that the book was set out and the facts and detail added. The authors have added in details of the sites (where possible) and the addresses/contact numbers so you can make your own arrangements.

The only thing that was a little disappointing to me was the lack of features on the villages in the Norfolk Broads themselves as they do have an awful lot to add, but I do know that you can’t find everything in to one book, so hopefully they may look to do a further book that features them.

It is 4.5 stars from me for this book, rounded up to 5 stars for Goodreads and Amazon – thoroughly enjoyable and it will be a great reference guide to locals, as well as those visiting the area!
