I absolutely love everything by Amanada! This one was no different. I really enjoy the different take on Trolls and all of their origins. There was a lot of world building in book 1 so I was disappointed that there wasn't much action in this the second edition of the series.

I connected with the characters and their plight. Ulla just wants to know where she comes from and who she is. Haven't we all been there? So, the world starts to unfurl, and all new troll communities are exposed.

I cannot wait for book 3! I will always recommend this world to anyone looking for a different spin on already conceived myths and creatures. This series is very YA and falls into several tropes but is still a solid read.
