A search and find book for elementary readers. Bunny has lost his rubber duck so his brothers and he set off to follow the river and find it.
Don't miss the questions before the title page. Each set of characters is seeking something too. Readers can answer the questions by studying the pages along the river journey.
Detailed illustrations provide hours of fun as young, and not so young, readers study the scenes.
Great book for a trip or other quiet time. Also can be fun to work together to locate all of the details and find the duck on each page spread.

The pictures in this book are beautiful and we enjoyed the cute story as well. After finishing this one, my young kids each requested I read it again.

Guh. Read Richard Scarry much? I was disappointed by the lack of any story elements about a police dog and his missing whistle. Good illustrations, the illustrator should occupy themselves illustrating something more original. The writer should... do anything else.

All Along The River is a Children's book about Bunny Rabbit losing her toy Little Duck. The search for Little Duck takes them along the river past many sights such as a farm, windmills, tulips, a factory and eventually to the sea. The illustrations in this book are gorgeous and Little Duck is hiding on each page. With thanks to NetGalley and Clavis Publishers for my digital copy.

I requested and received an e-ARC of this book from NetGalley and Clavis Publishing in exchange for an honest review.

This book brought me back to the Netherlands with its beautiful illustrations. This look and find book includes a fun story about Bunny and her Little Duck. That duck is hard to find on some of the pages and I think kids will have fun trying to find Little Duck and the other characters (located at the beginning of the book) within the pages.

All Along the River is a beautifully illustrated book about a lost toy duck, and the adventure Bunny Rabbit goes on to find it. It's a bit of a Where's Waldo in finding the toy duck on each page spread, and there are a few other animals who journey alongside Bunny, and finding them in each spread is fun and silly.

My son and I absolutely loved reading this interactive story, and looking closely at the wonderful illustrations. It's a sweet story of bravery, persistence, and adventure. I'll be recommending it to others!

Thank you to NetGalley and Clavis Publishing for the advance copy of All Along the River by Magnus Weightman in exchange for an honest review.

I received an advanced reader copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review via netgalley and the publishers.

This is a beautifully illustrated book about Bunny Rabbit who looses her toy duck overboard a boat and races to try to find it to no avail. Everyone she meets says they haven't seen it. Read to find out if she finds it in the end.
This book has so much to see on each page that children will spend a long time observing what is happening as they read and will probably spy something new each time.
I noticed the little toy duck can be seen on each page too if you look hard enough, along with afew other animals to spot - a little like where's wally.
This really is an adorable book for children to love and cherish.

This picture has little bunny looking for his missing rubber duck. The pictures are very detailed and kids will enjoy finding the little duck on each page. This was a lot of fun.

What a beautiful experience! The illustrations are gorgeous with fun little stories and jokes. Bunny loses her rubber ducky and goes on an adventure with her to brothers to retreive Ducky. They climb on their small boat and follow Ducky down the river. Along the way we meet recurring characters, each with their own adventures and stories.
Each illustrations covers a complete double-page with a short text in a corner. The images speak for themselves, however, telling different stories. I also love how small characters, like the snail or the chicken, reappear in every image and you look out for them to see what they're doing or where they are.
It's a beautifully illustrated Where's Waldo for children filled with cute animals. With little words the authors is able to tell a heartwarming, funny, and entertaining story. The environment is used to tell jokes, such as the sheep catching weird things with their fishing rod. The illustrations are gorgeous, full of vibrant colors that have a pleasant softness to it.

I think children and adults alike can enjoy this short and beautiful book.

A sweet little book for young readers. The illustrations were very nice, but the kindle version was very hard to use and to read. It makes it very hard to read to small children. Hopefully will be much better in a paper copy. All together though a good book.

Such a beautiful and fun interactive children's book! A bunny takes a fantastic journey to find their lost ducky. A number of characters to spot along the way makes it a fun interactive read for children 4 and up! I loved this one.

All Along the River is a great interactive book with gorgeous illustrations full on details and things to find for the younger ones. The text itself is small compared to the pictures, but this would be good for story times as the children can engage with the story and all the details in it, trying to find Little Duck with Bunny. There's also one of the 'did you see me' figures at the end of the book, which will make a re-read much more fun. I highly recommend this for story times, whether it be in public space or at home.

This was such a great little adventure book! I cannot express how much I enjoyed the illustration style, it truly brought me back to my own favorite books growing up! There was so much to see in every page, and of course being on the look out for Little Duck was an adventure all in of itself! I can not wait for this release so I can pick this one up for my kids!

This was a fantastic search and find book for kids. It was beautifully illustrated with so much to look at. It also had a great little story to go with it.

Thank you Clavis Publishing and NetGalley for this free copy in return for my honest review. Well, this is a super book for me. Such a simple story and yet so beautifully told and illustrated. Bunny Rabbit loses her toy Little Duck and the entire Rabbit family float down the river to try and find Little Duck. See all sorts of locales, twists and turns of the river, they go past cities, windmills, tulips, factories, and more as they search for Little Duck. Before the story even begins we meet a host of characters we will see along the way and have a bit of a backstory as to what they are doing. Just really well done and is a book I heartily recommend to one and all.

All Along the River is a fun adventure Bunny Rabbit and her brothers go on in search of her lost toy duck. Their adventure takes us from mountaintops to the open sea. Will Bunny Rabbit find her Little Duck?

The story itself was cute, but I feel it could have been more fluid - but noting my little guy noticed. Although this is not a comment on the story itself, more the format of the book, I found the font to be too small. If I were trying to read it to both my kids while they looked at the pictures I'd struggle a bit seeing the font. My 3.5 year old also loves reading along (Spot Words) and struggles with small font. But, with that being said we both really enjoyed reading the book and would definitely pick it up again.

The illustrations in All Along the River are fun and filled with many things to see.. It kind of reminds me of a Busy World of Richard Scarry book, where there are several tiny words of imagination throughout each scenic page. My 3.5 year old loved looking for the duck heading down the river as well as the little snail and several other fun I-spy opportunities.

Well this was a fun book to explore – just don't pick it up as a quick last read before bedtime. Each large spread has a section of story to it, for we are following some nautical rabbits from where they live, just beside some glacial meltwater (?!), and one of them has let their rubber duck float away. So we follow the duck, the rabbits and the water – and a host of other animals and situations – downstream all the way to the seashore. The minutiae really are packed in – this is not a book where you have to find a set list of things, for there is no check-list beyond the initial introduction to most of the characters. No, they're just there for you to see if you have an eye for them – the crocodiles floating on an inflatable pig, the pig floating on an inflatable crocodile, for just one. There are several allusions to fairy tale as well, with a frog prince and a Rapunzel-type situation, and despite us starting way up in the mountains the whole thing develops a distinctive Dutch flavour, to prove its country of origin. And heck, you even get a small geographical lesson and a look at the water cycle to close. A book that really does manage what it set out to achieve – and a strong four stars.

I absolutely loved the gorgeous illustrations of this book, telling the story of a bunny trying to rescue his favorite toy. The trees, the mountains, the river, the lakes, the animals... There are so many details, children are gonna look at these pages for hours. (I know I would!)
The concept of seek-and-find is a nice extra. All in all, a nice adventure through beautiful landscapes!

A perfect book for all those who love to look and find. The artwork is reminiscent of Richard Scary books with a lot to look at and see.
